Which model fits your room and screen?
Choose the Max for brighter rooms or a larger image
XGIMI positions the Max for brighter viewing conditions and larger screens. Its buying guide says the extra brightness becomes more noticeable above roughly 120 inches. Treat that as XGIMI’s guidance, not a universal cutoff: perceived brightness also depends on room light, screen, and viewing conditions. A higher advertised lumen figure alone cannot guarantee a better-looking picture in every room.
Choose the Pro for a typical living room or media space
XGIMI describes the Pro as suited to typical living rooms and media spaces. If that matches your setup, its lower displayed campaign price may make more sense: the guide presents the same core feature set while the published brightness and contrast figures are lower. The decision is whether the Max’s higher listed output and contrast matter enough in your room to justify the price difference.

- Room light and screen size: Decide whether your intended use resembles XGIMI’s brighter-room or large-screen use case for the Max, or its typical living-room use case for the Pro.
- Value to you: The displayed campaign price gap is $200, but value depends on whether the Max’s higher published brightness and contrast are useful for your setup.
- Evidence quality: The cited specifications and feature descriptions come from XGIMI’s launch, buying-guide, product, and reservation material. No independent hands-on comparison or laboratory measurements are established here, so treat performance figures as manufacturer claims.
- Ports and regional hardware: XGIMI’s reservation FAQ lists three HDMI ports, with HDMI 2 and HDMI 3 supporting 4K 120Hz and HDMI 2 supporting eARC; it also lists one USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, one Gigabit LAN, one optical, and one audio port. Verify final regional documentation before relying on port specifications or assuming accessories are universal.
