Yes. Xbox has warned Insiders that their Mythic Achievement count may rise or fall while it fixes how the total is calculated. A changing displayed count is consistent with that warning; Xbox has not published a correction schedule or said when individual totals will settle.
Why might your Mythic Achievement total change?
Xbox engineering lead Eden Marie told Insiders that calculation fixes during the test may change their unlock count. The warning followed reports of totals players considered incorrect. It means the displayed count is still being worked on—not that every change necessarily represents a newly earned or lost achievement.

TrueAchievements reported that some games were not returning Mythic status in its integration and that its own Mythic total had dropped. The outlet says its Mythic data is based on Xbox data, but those observations do not establish how many players or games are affected, or provide a definitive list.
What qualifies for Mythic status?
Xbox announced Mythic Achievements as an early-access feature for Xbox Insiders. Under the announced rule, a player earns Mythic status by completing all of a game’s original achievements. Achievements added later through DLC or updates are not required. Xbox says earned Mythic status is kept.

That eligibility rule is distinct from the displayed total: the announced requirement has not changed in the statements cited here, while the total calculation remains subject to fixes during testing. Xbox’s Mythic Achievements announcement explains the rule.
What should you do if the number looks wrong?
- Allow for the possibility that the count is being recalculated during the Insider test.
- Check whether you completed all of a game’s original achievements; later DLC or update achievements do not count toward the Mythic requirement.
- Do not assume a changing total means earned Mythic status has been revoked: Xbox says the status is yours to keep.
- There is no public correction timetable in Xbox’s warning, so no reliable date can be given for when a particular displayed total will settle.
When will Mythic Achievements leave testing?
Xbox has described staged Insider testing followed by broader availability for other achievement improvements, but its Mythic launch announcement did not give a specific public rollout date. The broader testing approach is not a confirmed schedule for Mythic, so availability timing remains unspecified.
