Android and iOS
Xbox lists Android and iOS support over Bluetooth. Phone and tablet compatibility is not an unconditional promise for every model: Xbox cautions that some mobile or Bluetooth functionality may not be supported on every device or operating-system version. Check the requirements for the particular handset, tablet and game before relying on the Nano as your only controller.
Tablets and smart TVs
Selected tablets and compatible smart TVs are included in Xbox’s Bluetooth connectivity information. “Compatible” matters here because television operating systems and Bluetooth implementations differ. Can you use the Xbox Nano Controller as a wired controller?
Microsoft’s published specifications identify Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth as the controller’s connection methods. They also mention USB-C for charging and Xbox Accessories app use. Those specifications do not say that USB-C carries gameplay input.
Consequently, wired gameplay is unconfirmed. For another multiplayer game, check its own local-player, online-player and platform requirements. A game may restrict local co-op, require an online service, or support a different number of simultaneous players even though the controller itself connects normally.
