What is reported about the new X and Grok plans?
Secondary summaries say Bloomberg reviewed an internal company document describing a possible subscription that would cover both X and Grok. The summaries attribute two possible prices to the proposal: $8 per month for a Lite plan with Grok access and a verified mark, and $100 per month for a possible Ultra tier. These are reported details, not prices announced by X or xAI. The underlying Bloomberg report was not independently reviewed for this account, so the proposal should be treated as unconfirmed.

What Grok subscriptions are listed separately?
xAI’s pricing page lists Free, SuperGrok Lite, SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, SuperGrok Heavy, Business, and Enterprise. It lists SuperGrok at $30 per month. That is a separate published Grok offer; the listing does not confirm a combined X/Grok Lite or Ultra plan. xAI pricing page

X’s own plan documentation currently associates higher Grok usage limits with Premium and SuperGrok access with Premium+. It does not specify that those benefits are identical to the separately listed xAI plans, or establish the proposed bundle’s model access or quotas.
What the blue check means—and what it does not
X says a blue check means an account has an active X Premium subscription and meets the platform’s eligibility requirements. The company wound down its legacy verification program on April 1, 2023; its current approach ties the blue check to a paid subscription and additional eligibility criteria rather than the previous “active, notable, and authentic” process. Other marks identify different kinds of accounts: gold is used for official organization accounts through Premium Business, while grey identifies government or multilateral organizations and officials. A reported cheaper subscriber badge should not be confused with these organizational marks unless X publishes terms saying otherwise. X’s profile labels and checkmarks guide
