Epic’s Champion Teal Knight FNCS Cup ran October 18–19, 2026. The rules were published October 13, 2026, and say that prizes are awarded according to each player’s placement on the leaderboard at the end of the applicable session. Epic has not published a guaranteed number of hours or days for Locker delivery, so a qualifying player should work through the checks below rather than rely on an exact wait-time promise.

What the Champion Teal Knight reward is
“Champion Teal Knight” is the community name commonly used for the FNCS Teal Knight In-Game Outfit. Epic’s rules list it as part of a prize bundle with the FNCS Ice Breaker pickaxe, FNCS Shield back bling, and Knightly FNCS wrap. The bundle is tied to leaderboard placement in the Champion Teal Knight FNCS Cup.

In practical terms, a player must be eligible, ranked, outside a prize-restricted region, and inside the placement range assigned to that particular region, mode, and platform.

Why different players see different thresholds
There is no single worldwide “top number” that applies to everyone. The published bands vary by region and cup mode. Epic’s examples include outfit awards for positions 1–200 in some Battle Royale regions and positions 1–30 in several Mobile regions. Those figures are prize thresholds, not a statement that every participant receives the outfit or that the same cutoff applies to another region.

Every likely reason the skin is missing
Work through these causes in order. Eligibility and placement determine whether the reward should exist on the account at all; account identity, Locker visibility, and service-side display issues explain why an earned reward may not be visible.
1. Your final placement was outside the prize band
The most common explanation is that the final leaderboard position did not reach the cutoff for your region and mode. A high score can still fall outside the paid positions when many competitors perform well. Check the final leaderboard for the exact session, not a mid-session score or a remembered estimate.
Use the threshold for the platform and mode in which you competed. A Battle Royale cutoff cannot be substituted for a Mobile cutoff, and a cutoff from one region cannot be applied to another. If the rules list positions 1–200 for your region and mode, position 201 is outside that band even if the difference in points is small.
2. The account was not eligible
The event page says competitors must meet the minimum applicable age and have multifactor authentication enabled. A player can appear on a leaderboard and still fail an eligibility requirement that controls prize delivery. Confirm that the Epic account used for the tournament met the age requirement for the event and had MFA enabled when required.
Eligibility is separate from the number shown on the leaderboard. Do not assume that a qualifying score overrides an age, account, or security requirement.

3. The account is in a prize-restricted region
The rules identify Russia and Turkey as prize-restricted regions. Players located in a restricted region cannot receive the listed prizes, even if their score appears to fall within a placement band. Region status is therefore a prerequisite, not a Locker setting that can be corrected after the event.
4. You are signed in to a different Epic account
Fortnite can look normal while using the wrong Epic account. This happens when a player switches console profiles, uses a secondary Epic login, or has more than one email address associated with gaming accounts. The reward is attached to the account that competed, not automatically to every platform profile you use.
Epic advises checking the email receipt or account email when applicable and comparing it with the account currently signed in. Verify the account identifier before changing Locker settings or opening a support case.
5. The outfit is hidden by Locker filters
Locker filters can make an item appear to be missing when it is simply excluded from the current view. An active rarity, set, season, search, sort, or Favorites filter can hide FNCS Teal Knight from the outfit grid. This is especially easy to miss if the Locker remembers filters from a previous session.
6. The outfit is archived
Archived cosmetics do not appear in the normal outfit list. If you previously archived the item, it will remain owned but hidden until you view archived items and unarchive it.
7. A temporary service-side display problem is affecting the Locker
Epic currently acknowledges that some Locker item names and descriptions may not display correctly and says it is working on a fix. A service-side problem can affect labels, descriptions, or visibility without changing the underlying entitlement. Follow Epic Public Status, @FortniteStatus, and Fortnite’s known-issues channels for current notices.

8. Delivery has not completed or the entitlement has not refreshed
The official rules and event page explain who is eligible and how placement prizes are assigned, but they do not promise a specific post-event delivery window. The absence of an exact deadline means you should not treat a short delay as proof that the reward was denied. After completing the account and Locker checks, escalate if a qualifying reward still does not appear.
How to verify that you qualified
Do this before troubleshooting the Locker. It prevents you from spending time looking for an item that was never awarded.
- Identify the exact session. Note whether you played the October 18 or October 19 session and which cup mode and platform you used.
- Confirm your region. Use the region associated with that session, not a region from another event or a later account change.
- Find the final leaderboard. Use the completed leaderboard for the applicable session. A live or provisional position is not the final result used for prize assignment.
- Compare your position with the correct band. Match region, mode, and platform to the rule table. Do not copy a cutoff from another category.
- Check eligibility conditions. Confirm the minimum applicable age and that multifactor authentication was enabled as required by the event page.
- Check prize-region status. If your region is Russia or Turkey, the rules classify it as prize-restricted for these prizes.
Save a screenshot of the final placement and the event details. These records are useful if Player Support needs to investigate an entitlement.

- Sign in to the competing Epic account. Exit Fortnite and sign back in if you are unsure which account is active. Compare the account email or other identifier with the account used during the cup.
- Open Locker. From the Fortnite lobby, select Locker, then choose Outfits. Search for FNCS Teal Knight, not only for “Champion” or “Knight.”
- Open Sort and Filter. Review every active filter, including rarity, set, season, search text, platform-related views, and any custom sorting that narrows the grid.
- Clear all filters. Turn off each active filter, apply the change, and return to the full outfit list. Epic’s missing-item guidance says clearing filters reveals all items.
- Disable Favorites-only viewing. Make sure the Favorites heart is not enabled. A Favorites view shows only items you marked, so a newly awarded outfit may be absent.
- Check Archived. Open the Archived filter or archived-items view. If FNCS Teal Knight appears there, select it and choose the unarchive option.
- Search again after refreshing the view. Leave Locker, return to the lobby, and reopen Outfits. This reloads the list without changing ownership or account data.
When the item is present, inspect the associated pickaxe, back bling, and wrap as well. The bundle may appear as separate cosmetics rather than one selectable package.
Account checks that prevent false missing-item reports
Compare the account used on every platform
Console, PC, and cloud profiles can be linked in ways that make the active identity unclear. The decisive account is the Epic account that entered the tournament. Do not infer ownership from the console profile name alone.
Use the account email as a cross-check
Epic’s guidance recommends checking the email receipt or account email when applicable. Compare the address shown in account settings with the address associated with the tournament session. If you have multiple Epic accounts, sign out of the one that is not linked to the competing profile before searching again.

Do not unlink accounts while investigating
Unlinking or relinking a platform can create a separate account problem and will not prove that the prize was awarded. Record the current account details first and use Player Support if the identity cannot be established safely.

First, separate an entitlement problem from a display problem
An entitlement problem means the account did not meet a requirement, did not finish inside the applicable band, or is not the account that competed. A display problem means the account qualified but the item is hidden, archived, mislabeled, or affected by an Epic service issue. Your final leaderboard evidence and account check distinguish these paths.

Allow for the absence of a published delivery deadline
Epic has not stated a guaranteed number of hours or days between the end of a session and appearance in Locker. Avoid unofficial claims that promise delivery by a particular date. If the event has just ended, continue monitoring official status information while completing the checks above.
How to contact Epic Player Support effectively
Epic’s missing-item guidance directs players to contact support when an item cannot be found after checking the account and Locker. A complete ticket gives support enough information to compare your account with the event records.
Include these details
- Your Epic account ID and the email address associated with the competing account.
- The cup name: Champion Teal Knight FNCS Cup.
- The session date, October 18 or October 19, 2026, and the cup mode and platform.
- Your region and final leaderboard placement.
- The applicable prize band you used when deciding that the placement qualified.
- Whether the account met the minimum age requirement and had MFA enabled.
- Confirmation that the account is not in a prize-restricted region.
- Screenshots of the final leaderboard, account identity, and Locker search with filters cleared.
- The time you checked the normal and Archived outfit views, plus any relevant Epic Public Status or known-issue notice.
Describe the problem precisely
Write “FNCS Teal Knight is missing from Locker after a qualifying placement” rather than simply saying “my tournament skin disappeared.” State whether the associated FNCS Ice Breaker, FNCS Shield, and Knightly FNCS items are also absent. This helps support determine whether the issue concerns one entitlement, the entire prize bundle, or a broader Locker display problem.

Protect your account while waiting
Use only Epic’s official support process, never share a password or MFA code, and keep the ticket number and screenshots. Do not create a second account or repeatedly unlink platforms to force a refresh.
Frequently misunderstood points
“I played, so I should have the outfit.”
Participation is not the rule described for this prize. The award depends on final placement within the applicable band and on eligibility conditions.
“My score was high enough in another region.”
Placement bands are region- and mode-specific. A cutoff from another category cannot establish eligibility for your session.
“The outfit is gone because I cannot see it in the first grid.”
The first grid is not proof of ownership status. Clear all filters, turn off Favorites, and inspect Archived before concluding that the item is absent.

No fixed delivery period is stated in the official rules and event information reviewed for this cup. Treat exact unofficial deadlines cautiously.
“A display error means I was denied the prize.”
Epic has acknowledged Locker naming and description issues. A display fault can affect what you see without determining whether the account earned the entitlement.
