Logi Tune, Logi Options+, and G HUB can each provide webcam controls for supported devices, but no single app works with every Logitech webcam—and none is required just to use a camera for basic video.
Choose the app that fits your webcam and how you use it
Logitech’s apps overlap, but they serve different purposes. Before installing one, check the webcam’s model-level compatibility and identify the controls you want. A camera may work in video-call software without appearing in a Logitech app.

| App | Best place to start | What to check |
|---|---|---|
| Logi Tune | Personal workspace and webcam configuration | Logitech’s supported-device list; available customization varies by webcam. Logi Tune product page and compatibility list. |
| Logi Options+ | Adjusting settings on supported Logitech personal devices, including webcams | Whether your specific webcam is supported and which controls it exposes. Logitech describes crop or field of view, exposure, image adjustments, focus, and presets, depending on support. Webcam settings guide. |
| G HUB | Checking settings for supported Logitech G equipment, including some webcams | Confirm support for your exact camera; G HUB is not a universal webcam utility. Logitech lists it as one route for webcam settings. Webcam settings guide. |
If your goal is workplace or personal-device configuration, check Tune and Options+ against the device list. If you use supported Logitech G equipment for gaming or streaming, check G HUB. The model’s support entry—not the app’s general description—is the deciding factor.

See Logitech’s macOS compatibility article.
What webcam controls might be available?
On supported cameras, Logitech’s settings guide describes controls such as crop or field of view, exposure, focus, and image adjustments. Image options can include temperature, tint, brightness, contrast, saturation, and vibrance. Zoom and pan are available where supported; the precise set depends on the webcam and app. Logitech’s settings preview shows adjustments before they are applied. See the webcam settings guide.

Auto-framing is model-dependent, not a feature to expect from every Logitech webcam. Check device support and Logitech’s settings guide for details.
Why a control may be unavailable
If a setting is grayed out, Logitech says the camera may be using a preset that limits manual changes. Switch to custom settings and check whether the control becomes available. Logitech’s guidance on presets and settings.

Set up the camera and troubleshoot app detection
Logitech recommends connecting the webcam directly to the computer rather than through a USB hub. Its setup guide also describes Options+ as providing advanced controls and custom presets for supported devices. Logitech setup guidance.
- Connect directly: Plug the webcam into the computer, bypassing a USB hub as Logitech recommends.
- Identify the exact model: Use the camera’s model name or product information rather than relying on a broad product family.
- Verify compatibility: Check Logitech’s current supported-device information for the app and confirm your operating system meets its requirements.
- Check presets: If manual controls are grayed out, switch from a preset to custom settings.
- Check current support information: If the camera still does not appear, consult Logitech’s support page or the app’s release notes for current device and version details.
