You need three in-game Melody Sheets to complete the required Notre-Dame organ puzzle in Belmont’s Curse: the Melody Sheet for the Fugue of Notre-Dame, the Melody Sheet for the Sonata of Notre-Dame, and the Melody Sheet for the Concerto of Notre-Dame. Collect all three, return to the Great Organ Room, and play each sheet’s zodiac-key sequence on the organ floor. Completing the three performances clears the Corrupted Pipes progression and opens the route toward Death.
The optional candle-order melody in the Stained Glass Gallery is a separate secret. It is not a substitute for any of the three sheets, and Air Dash is only relevant to reaching the outer keys for that optional puzzle.

The three required Melody Sheets at a glance
Each required sheet is a separate pickup in a different area. The sheet name identifies the performance you must make at the organ; it does not mean you need to find a physical instrument in the pickup room. The organ itself is in the Great Organ Room, where the floor keys are marked with zodiac symbols.

The available walkthroughs do not establish a mandatory universal order for the three performances. You can therefore plan your route around which sheet you can reach next, but all three sheets and all three sequences are required for the Corrupted Pipes progression.

How the required organ puzzle works
The puzzle has two linked parts: obtaining the notation and performing it. Picking up a sheet gives you the sequence associated with one composition. The performance takes place back in the Great Organ Room, not necessarily where you found the sheet. On the room’s floor, locate the zodiac-marked keys and activate them in the order shown for that sheet.
Do not combine the three lines into one long melody. Treat Fugue, Sonata, and Concerto as three independent performances. After all three have been played, the Corrupted Pipes progression is cleared and the path toward Death opens. A sheet already found in the Great Organ Room still counts as one of the required pickups; you must perform its sequence along with the other two.
Required item 1: Melody Sheet for the Fugue of Notre-Dame
Where to pick it up
The Fugue sheet is located in the Great Organ Room. Because the pickup and the organ are in the same room, this is the most convenient sheet to use for learning how the floor-key interaction works. Collect it before attempting to perform the Fugue.

Which keys to play
Use the Fugue line in the reference table exactly as written: Moon, Sun, Moon, then Virgo. The repeated Moon is intentional; it is not a signal to skip the second visit. Likewise, Sun and Virgo are distinct keys, so confirm the symbol on the floor before activating each one.

What this performance does
The Fugue performance clears one part of the Corrupted Pipes progression. It does not finish the Notre-Dame puzzle by itself. Leave the organ room only after noting which of the other two sheets you still need, unless you are deliberately making a separate exploration trip.
Required item 2: Melody Sheet for the Sonata of Notre-Dame
Where to pick it up
The Sonata sheet is in the Sealed Scriptorium. It is a different pickup from the Fugue sheet, so visiting the Great Organ Room alone cannot satisfy the Sonata requirement. Return to the organ after obtaining it; the game expects the Sonata’s zodiac sequence to be performed there.
Which keys to play
The Sonata is the longest of the three required lines. Its seven activations are Sagittarius, Capricorn, Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn, Sagittarius, and Capricorn. Capricorn appears three times and Sagittarius appears twice; enter each occurrence rather than treating the line as a list of unique symbols.
What this performance does
Playing the Sonata clears its associated Corrupted Pipes segment. If the other two performances are complete, this may be the action that finishes the progression; otherwise, the remaining sheet performances are still required. The guides do not identify the Sonata as a universally first or last performance.

Required item 3: Melody Sheet for the Concerto of Notre-Dame
Where to pick it up
The Concerto sheet is found at La Flèche. Treat La Flèche as the pickup destination and the Great Organ Room as the performance destination. The item is not replaced by discovering the optional candle melody in the Stained Glass Gallery.
Which keys to play
The Concerto line contains seven activations: Gemini, Cancer, Virgo, Leo, Virgo, Leo, and Gemini. Virgo and Leo each recur, while Gemini brackets the sequence. Read the symbols from the floor rather than relying on the apparent position of a key, especially if the camera angle makes adjacent zodiac marks difficult to distinguish.
What this performance does
The Concerto clears its own section of Corrupted Pipes. Once Fugue, Sonata, and Concerto have all been performed, the complete progression is cleared and the route toward Death becomes available.

A practical completion route
The puzzle is easier to manage if you separate collection from performance and keep a written checklist. This avoids returning to the organ with one sheet still missing.

- Record the three required names. Your checklist should contain Fugue, Sonata, and Concerto. The optional Stained Glass Gallery melody is not part of this list.
- Collect the Fugue sheet in the Great Organ Room. If you are already there, identify the zodiac-marked floor keys and make sure you can distinguish the symbols before entering a sequence.
- Travel to the Sealed Scriptorium. Pick up the Sonata sheet. Do not assume that finding the room automatically performs the melody; the performance still happens at the organ.
- Reach La Flèche. Collect the Concerto sheet and add it to your checklist.
- Return to the Great Organ Room. Perform each sheet as a separate sequence, using the table as your transcription. There is no documented requirement to perform the three in a particular order.
- Confirm progression. The objective is complete when all three performances have cleared the Corrupted Pipes progression and the route toward Death has opened. If the route has not opened, verify the checklist and each key entry before searching for an unrelated trigger.
The optional fourth melody in the Stained Glass Gallery
A hidden melody can be played by reading candle counts beneath zodiac symbols in the Stained Glass Gallery. This is a bonus puzzle, not a fourth required Melody Sheet. It opens a secret passage leading to the War and Famine reward, while the three sheet performances handle the required route toward Death.
Why you should not memorize one “universal” order
One guide illustrates a current candle arrangement in this order: Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Pisces, Virgo, Sun & Moon, Leo, Cancer, Aries. The same guidance tells players to treat the candle layout visible in their own game as authoritative. In practice, inspect the counts beneath the symbols in your instance and translate those counts into the order you enter; do not assume that the example order will match every version or layout.
How Air Dash relates to the optional puzzle
Air Dash may be needed to reach the far-left Aries key and the far-right Pisces key while you are following the candle-derived order. It is a movement aid for those outer positions, not a prerequisite for collecting Fugue, Sonata, or Concerto and not one of the three required puzzle items. If you are only trying to open the route toward Death through the Corrupted Pipes progression, focus on the three sheets and their organ sequences first.

Check that you have the correct three pickups
The required set is specific: Fugue, Sonata, and Concerto. A trip to the Stained Glass Gallery, an Air Dash upgrade, or another organ-related discovery does not replace one of these sheets. Revisit your item list and confirm the pickup locations: Great Organ Room, Sealed Scriptorium, and La Flèche.
Check the sequence as a complete line
Enter every activation, including repeated symbols. The Sonata and Concerto both revisit keys, and the Fugue repeats Moon. A sequence that looks correct when reduced to unique symbols is still incomplete. Read each zodiac label immediately before activating the key so that similar symbols are not confused.
Return to the correct room
The performances are made on the zodiac-marked floor keys in the Great Organ Room. Finding a sheet elsewhere does not change the performance location. If you have been entering the candle-derived order in the Stained Glass Gallery, stop and return to the organ for the required melodies.
Consider version differences
Walkthroughs and map guides describe particular game layouts. If a patch has moved a pickup, changed a room, or altered the optional candle arrangement, use the symbols and item names shown in your current game. The three-sheet requirement and the listed sequences are the established solution, but the candle example is explicitly layout-dependent.
What you do—and do not—need
- Needed: the Fugue sheet, the Sonata sheet, the Concerto sheet, and access to the Great Organ Room’s zodiac-marked floor keys.
- Needed: all three exact sequences, entered as separate performances.
- Not needed for the required route: the optional candle-order melody, the War and Famine reward, or Air Dash.
- Useful for the bonus route: Air Dash, if the candle order sends you to the far-left Aries or far-right Pisces key.
- Not established: a mandatory first, second, or third order for the three sheet performances.
Once the three named sheets have been collected and their individual lines played on the Great Organ Room floor, the Notre-Dame organ objective is complete: the Corrupted Pipes progression is cleared and the route toward Death is opened.
