Best overall: Samsung The Frame Pro 2026. Best mid-range: Samsung The Frame 2026. Best budget: Hisense CanvasTV 2026. That is RTINGS’ ranking in its roundup, last verified September 14, 2026—not a claim of independent hands-on testing by this article. The Pro’s premium is most useful in bright rooms or when you want to keep connected devices away from the screen; the standard Frame suits a moderately lit room, while CanvasTV costs less but compromises on motion and color accuracy. RTINGS’ 2026 Frame TV recommendations
Which frame TV is best for you?
| Pick | Best for | Main trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Samsung The Frame Pro 2026 | Bright rooms, reflection control, and flexible device placement | Premium pricing; TVs without art-frame features may offer stronger picture performance at similar prices. |
| Samsung The Frame 2026 | A less expensive Samsung art-TV design in a moderately lit room | Lower brightness than Pro, no local dimming, and devices connect at the TV. |
| Hisense CanvasTV 2026 | A lower-cost frame-style TV | Weaker color accuracy and slower response that can blur motion; included teak frame may not suit every room. |
All three are recommendations from RTINGS’ roundup. The best choice depends less on the word “art” in the product description than on room brightness, where you can place your devices, and how much you value motion performance and artwork selection.

Samsung The Frame Pro 2026: best overall
Choose the Pro if your room is bright, reflections are a concern, or you want to place connected devices away from the display. RTINGS highlights its high brightness, reflection handling, flush-fitting Slim Fit mount, and Wireless One Connect. The wireless box moves device inputs away from the TV, which can make a wall installation easier to keep visually tidy.
Its art mode can respond to room motion and ambient brightness. You can display photos from USB or choose from a rotating curated selection; a subscription is available for more artwork. The TV ships with a black bezel. Other bezel options are sold separately, and buyers should check that a particular bezel fits their exact model and size.

The main reason to pay more is the combination of brightness and device-placement flexibility—not a guarantee that it beats conventional TVs on picture quality for the money. Samsung’s US launch announcement listed the Pro at $1,499.99 for 55 inches, $1,999.99 for 65 inches, $2,799.99 for 75 inches, and $3,999.99 for 85 inches. Samsung The Frame 2026: best mid-range
The standard Frame keeps the slim, picture-like installation and matte art-TV concept at a lower tier than Pro. It is the more sensible fit if your room is moderately lit and you do not need Wireless One Connect. Its external devices connect at the TV, however, so plan cable routing before mounting it if you want a clean-looking wall.

Compared with Pro, RTINGS describes the standard model as less bright and without local dimming. Samsung’s official comparison classifies the 2026 standard Frame as QLED and Pro as Neo QLED; it also distinguishes built-in connections from Wireless One Connect. Hisense CanvasTV 2026: best budget
CanvasTV is the lower-cost pick if you want an art-TV look and can accept compromises in picture refinement. RTINGS says it is brighter than the standard Frame and handles more glare, but its color accuracy is weaker and its slow response can make motion look blurry. Those limitations matter more for fast-moving sports or games than for displaying still artwork.
Hisense includes a teak frame. CanvasTV’s free art selection is smaller than Samsung’s, and no subscription service for expanding it was listed in the cited material. You can display personal photos using USB or QR code. Consider whether the included finish and available art options suit your room before choosing it over the Samsung models. How to choose between Frame and Frame Pro
- Start with room light: Pro is the stronger fit if the TV will face substantial ambient light or troublesome reflections. For a moderately lit room, the standard Frame may be sufficient.
- Decide where devices should live: Pro’s Wireless One Connect moves inputs away from the display. The standard Frame’s connections are on the TV, so cable placement needs more attention.
- Weigh the picture-feature difference: The standard model is less bright and lacks local dimming versus Pro. If those differences do not address a problem in your room, the Pro premium may not be worthwhile.
- Account for ownership extras: Optional bezels and expanded Samsung artwork can add cost. Verify bezel compatibility and current art-service terms before buying; the cited material does not establish current subscription pricing.
Sizes, prices, and model details vary by market
Do not assume a size list from one country applies everywhere. RTINGS identifies its roundup as covering US availability and lists additional standard Frame sizes, while Samsung Germany’s official comparison lists the standard Frame in 55- and 65-inch sizes and Pro in 55-, 65-, 75-, and 85-inch sizes. Samsung’s US launch announcement lists standard sizes from 65 to 98 inches and Pro sizes from 55 to 85 inches. These are different market and source scopes, not a single universal inventory list. For the US Frame Pro review, RTINGS identifies tested model codes QN55LS03HWFXZA, QN65LS03HWFXZA, QN75LS03HWFXZA, and QN85LS03HWFXZA. RTINGS says its 65-inch test results also apply to the other listed sizes; that is the publisher’s description of its test coverage. RTINGS’ Frame Pro 2026 review

What the “best” ranking does—and doesn’t—mean
RTINGS says it buys and tests dozens of TVs each year using hundreds of tests, and its roundup lists September 14, 2026 as the latest verification date for these picks. The recommendations are useful for comparing the three frame-style options, but they are not proof that a frame TV is the best-value choice for every buyer. If art-display design is not a priority, compare conventional TVs at the same price before deciding.
Samsung’s announcement calls the company the “#1 Art TV brand,” attributing the ranking to Circana LLC’s US TV retail tracking for the 12 months ending December 2025. Samsung defines the category as TVs with customizable interchangeable frames or the ability to put a frame over the television. That is a manufacturer-attributed category ranking, not a measure of picture quality. Samsung’s announcement and Circana attribution
