For most players, buy the Standard Edition on the platform you already own. Choose Eclipse only if its digital soundtrack, comic and compendium are worth paying extra for; choose Day 1 if you specifically want a physical game and its included physical extras; choose Collector’s only if the premium physical bundle and collectibles are the point of the purchase.
The Blood of Dawnwalker is available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Bandai Namco Entertainment America describes it as “a dark fantasy open-world action RPG” available on those platforms. The official material does not establish a universal frame-rate or resolution winner, so your existing hardware, controller preference and storefront ecosystem are more reliable buying criteria than platform speculation.

| Digital soundtrack, comic and compendium | Eclipse | Buy the SKU for your preferred storefront and verify its format |

The official edition comparison names four tiers: Standard, Eclipse, Day 1 and Collector’s. Prices and stock can vary by country, retailer and date, so treat a store page as the final authority before payment.
What the four editions actually mean
Standard Edition: the sensible default
Standard is the base-game purchase. It is the right choice when you want to play The Blood of Dawnwalker without paying for soundtrack, reading material or physical collectibles. Nothing in the official comparison indicates that the higher tiers unlock a different campaign or a superior gameplay system. If your priority is playing the RPG itself, Standard avoids paying for contents you may never use.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
The available data do not provide a confirmed Standard price. Check the digital storefront or retailer for your region rather than inferring a price from the Day 1 listing. Standard is also the easiest tier to match to a platform: select the PC, PS5 or Xbox Series X|S version attached to the hardware and account you already use.
Eclipse Edition: for digital extras
Eclipse is the extras-focused tier. The official edition comparison and Xbox listing identify a digital soundtrack, comic and compendium among its additions. Those are worthwhile if you enjoy listening to game music away from the game, want companion reading, or like lore reference material while exploring the world.
Eclipse is harder to justify when you are buying solely for the campaign. Decide what you will actually use: a soundtrack has continuing value for some players, while a digital comic or compendium may be opened once. Confirm the precise contents and delivery method on the SKU for your platform, because an edition name can cover different storefront products.

Day 1 Edition: the physical-copy route
Day 1 is the choice for buyers who want a physical copy and the physical extras assigned to that edition. The official Bandai Namco America store lists Day 1 products for PS5 and Xbox Series X. The listed US price is $69.99 for each of those products, with the store identifying Bandai Namco Entertainment and the year 2026.
“Day 1” does not by itself mean a permanently available bonus or a guaranteed global stock level. It is a product tier whose availability can change. Read the retailer’s description for the exact included items, shipping date and region. If you use an Xbox Series S, remember that it has no disc drive; verify that you are buying a digital-compatible product rather than assuming a Series X disc will work.

- 5-in-1 USB-C Hub: Experience comprehensive connectivity featuring a Power Delivery input, two USB-A 2.0 ports, a USB-A 3.0 port, and an HDMI port. (Note: The USB-C power delivery input port is only for connecting an external wall charger to power your laptop and cannot power peripheral devices.)
- 90W Pass-Through Charging: Achieve optimal charging with 90W pass-through power to your laptop, supported by a total input of 100W, with the hub reserving 10W for operational efficiency. (Note: Wall charger not included.)
- Quick Data Transfers: Accelerate your productivity with rapid data transfers using a high-speed 5Gbps USB 3.0 port and two 480Mbps USB 2.0 ports.
- 4K HDMI Display: Enhance your visual experience with a hub capable of delivering 4K resolution at 30Hz in both mirror and extend modes. Please note that this hub is compatible with MacBook (macOS 12 and newer), Windows 10 and 11, ChromeOS, and laptops equipped with DP Alt Mode and Power Delivery. Note: This device is not compatible with Linux.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (5-in-1, 4K HDMI), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
Collector’s Edition: a premium physical bundle
Collector’s is aimed at people who want the premium physical package and its collectible contents, not simply the game at the lowest cost. The official US store lists Collector’s products for PS5, Xbox Series X and Steam at $199.99. That listing confirms the price and platforms, while the exact objects, materials and packaging should be checked on the individual product page before ordering.
The Steam listing deserves particular attention. A Collector’s product can include physical items while supplying the game as a Steam entitlement rather than a disc. Confirm whether the package contains a Steam code, whether the code is region restricted, and which physical pieces are included. Do not assume that a Steam Collector’s listing has the same game-delivery method as a console box.

Is Eclipse worth buying?
Eclipse is worth considering when at least one of its three confirmed digital additions has a clear use for you. The soundtrack is the most reusable: you can listen while working, commuting or revisiting the game. The comic and compendium are more personal choices, useful to lore-focused players and less valuable to someone who rarely reads digital bonuses.
- Choose Eclipse if you already know you want the soundtrack, comic or compendium.
- Choose Standard if you would have bought the game without any of those items.
- Check whether your storefront offers the same Eclipse contents and whether they are delivered automatically or as separate downloads.
- Compare the local price difference, because the supplied official listings do not state a universal Eclipse price.
Do not treat Eclipse as a performance upgrade. The available edition descriptions identify bonus content, not a different frame-rate target, resolution mode or gameplay system.
Should you buy the Day 1 physical edition?
Day 1 makes sense when ownership of a box, disc resale and shelf storage matter to you. It is also the clearest route if you want the physical extras assigned to that tier. Before ordering, check four practical details:

- Sleek 7-in-1 USB-C Hub: Features an HDMI port, two USB-A 3.0 ports, and a USB-C data port, each providing 5Gbps transfer speeds. It also includes a USB-C PD input port for charging up to 100W and dual SD and TF card slots, all in a compact design.
- Flawless 4K@60Hz Video with HDMI: Delivers exceptional clarity and smoothness with its 4K@60Hz HDMI port, making it ideal for high-definition presentations and entertainment. (Note: Only the HDMI port supports video projection; the USB-C port is for data transfer only.)
- Double Up on Efficiency: The two USB-A 3.0 ports and a USB-C port support a fast 5Gbps data rate, significantly boosting your transfer speeds and improving productivity.
- Fast and Reliable 85W Charging: Offers high-capacity, speedy charging for laptops up to 85W, so you spend less time tethered to an outlet and more time being productive.
- What You Get: Anker USB-C Hub (7-in-1), welcome guide, 18-month warranty, and our friendly customer service.
- Disc compatibility: select PS5 for a PS5 console with a usable disc drive, or Xbox Series X for a Series X console. A disc-based purchase is not suitable for a console without a drive.
- Exact contents: read the retailer’s item list rather than relying on the “Day 1” name alone.
- Region and language: confirm that the product is sold for your market and that any included code can be redeemed on your account.
- Stock and delivery: verify the dispatch date and whether the displayed price is current before checkout.
For a buyer who does not care about a box or physical extras, Standard is simpler. For a buyer who wants a physical game plus a much larger collectible package, Collector’s is the more appropriate tier.

The Collector’s premium is justified only by the physical bundle and collectibles. It is not supported by the official material as a faster, higher-resolution or expanded gameplay edition. At the listed US price, the bundle costs substantially more than the Day 1 products, so make a contents-first decision.
Questions to answer on the product page
- Which collectible objects are included, and are they assembled or packaged separately?
- Does the console package contain a disc, while the Steam package contains a code?
- Is the game code restricted to the store region where you live?
- Are the physical extras shipped with the game or in a separate delivery?
- What happens if the package sells out or the listed contents change?
The official store’s Steam, PS5 and Xbox Series X listings confirm that those product versions exist, but an individual listing remains the right place to verify the final contents and fulfillment terms.
PS5, Xbox or PC: which platform should you choose?
All three platform families are officially supported: PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. There is no complete, directly comparable official table covering resolution, frame rate and graphics settings across them. Without tested evidence under identical conditions, it would be misleading to declare one console technically superior.
| Decision factor | How to apply it |
|---|---|
| Existing hardware | Choose the system you already own unless you have a specific reason to move. |
| Input ecosystem | Use the controller, keyboard or accessibility setup with which you are most comfortable. |
| Storefront and account | Buy where your friends, wallet, library and account are already established. |
| Physical media | PS5 and Xbox Series X support the listed Day 1 physical route; PC buyers should check the exact Steam Collector’s package. |
| Performance evidence | Wait for verified platform-specific testing if frame rate or resolution is your deciding factor; the official pages do not provide a full cross-platform table. |
PS5
PS5 is the straightforward choice for players already invested in PlayStation purchases, settings and accessories. It is also one of the platforms with an officially listed Day 1 and Collector’s product. Choose a physical edition only if your console has a disc drive and the retailer’s SKU matches your region.

Xbox Series X|S
The game is confirmed for Xbox Series X|S, while the physical store listings specifically name Xbox Series X. Series X owners can consider the listed Day 1 or Collector’s products. Series S owners should select a digital product and confirm compatibility at checkout because the console has no disc drive. Your Xbox account, existing library and preferred controller are strong reasons to stay on this platform.
PC via Steam
PC is the natural choice if you prefer keyboard and mouse, adjustable graphics options or a Steam-centered library. The official store lists a Steam Collector’s product, but the package’s game-delivery method and regional code terms should be verified on the exact listing. Check the game’s current system requirements and your own hardware before buying; the supplied official edition information does not provide those requirements.
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.A step-by-step buying process
- Choose the platform first. Select PC, PS5 or Xbox Series X|S based on the hardware and account you will actually use.
- Decide whether you need physical media. If yes, compare the Day 1 and Collector’s listings; if no, continue with Standard or Eclipse.
- Value the extras honestly. Eclipse adds a digital soundtrack, comic and compendium. Collector’s adds the premium physical bundle and collectibles. Skip either tier if those additions have no practical value to you.
- Open the exact regional SKU. Confirm price, platform, edition name, delivery format, redemption region and stock.
- Check hardware constraints. Ensure a disc console can read the selected physical product and that a Steam product supplies a code your account can redeem.
- Save your order details. Keep the edition name and contents list in your receipt so you can resolve a missing bonus or incorrect platform listing.
Prices, availability and regional caveats
The confirmed prices in this guide come from the Bandai Namco America store and are US listings identified for 2026. Day 1 is shown at $69.99 for PS5 and Xbox Series X; Collector’s is shown at $199.99 for PS5, Xbox Series X and Steam. Those figures are not a promise of the price in another country, another retailer or a later date.
Edition names, inventory and launch-period products can change. A regional storefront may show different taxes, currency, packaging or availability. Recheck the final checkout page, especially if you are buying a physical bundle, a product with a digital code or a limited-stock Collector’s package.

Pick the platform already integrated into your hardware and account setup, then verify the regional SKU, price and stock immediately before placing the order.
