Use the CRKD Atom+ in the mode your phone, tablet, or cloud service expects—usually Xbox/XInput—then verify the face-button prompts inside each game. Start camera and look sensitivity at the game’s default, change one slider in small steps, and keep separate profiles for precision and fast-action games. There is no manufacturer-published Atom+-specific sensitivity number that can honestly be called “best.”
The short answer
For cloud gaming on a phone or tablet, pair the Atom+ in the operating system’s Bluetooth settings, select an Xbox/XInput profile when the service offers one, and check the game’s on-screen labels before you launch a serious session. Xbox-style protocols generally reduce confusion caused by Nintendo-style face-button lettering, but the game remains the final authority.

For native Android and iPhone games, use the platform mode named in the current Atom+ guide. Do not assume that a shortcut from the original CRKD Atom manual also applies to Atom+. Recent Atom+ guidance specifically warns that older three-second button combinations are not Atom+ documentation.
For sensitivity, begin at the game or cloud client’s default. Adjust only one axis or slider at a time, test the same repeatable movement, and stop when your thumb movement is accurate and comfortable. Treat any numeric value you choose as a personal setting, not a tested optimum.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
Choose the mapping by host and game
| Situation | Recommended starting mode | What to verify | Main caveat |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloud gaming on Android or iPhone | Xbox/XInput, if the cloud service lists it | Face-button prompts, Menu/View or Minus, bumpers and triggers | The cloud client may translate inputs differently from a native game |
| Native Android game | The mode specified by the current Atom+ guide | Whether the game detects the controller and labels A/B and X/Y correctly | Some games expose their own remapping; others do not |
| Native iPhone game | The iPhone-compatible mode specified by the current guide | Button prompts and whether both sticks are available | Do not apply original-Atom shortcuts without Atom+ confirmation |
| Game that needs a second analog input | Normal dual-stick layout first | Camera movement, stick clicks and D-pad functions | D-pad-to-stick reassignment is a task-specific workaround, not a universal layout |
Why XInput can make the buttons look “backwards”
The original Atom manual explains that, when the controller connects as an XInput device, the face-button semantics are swapped: Y functions as X, B functions as A, and vice versa. In practice, the physical letters printed on the controller can therefore disagree with prompts designed for another platform.
This is a protocol translation, not necessarily a faulty controller. If a cloud game displays an Xbox-style prompt but pressing the printed A produces the action associated with B, first confirm which mode the client actually detected. Then check the game’s own controller settings. Some titles remap automatically; others expect you to select an Xbox, generic, or platform-specific layout manually.
The original manual documents a mapping toggle using D-pad Down plus Minus held for five seconds. That instruction belongs to the original Atom documentation. Because Atom+ materials warn that older shortcuts should not automatically be reused, verify the exact Atom+ combination in the supplied quick-start sheet or CRKD’s current support material before holding buttons. If the current guide does not document a shortcut, use the game or CRKD app’s remapping controls instead of guessing.

Set up Atom+ for cloud gaming
- Charge and power the controller. A low battery can look like a Bluetooth or input-mapping failure.
- Pair in the operating system first. Open your phone or tablet’s Bluetooth settings, put Atom+ into the pairing mode described by its current guide, and wait for it to appear as a connected controller.
- Open the CRKD app only after pairing. For supported firmware, the app can expose maintenance, remapping, vibration, trigger sensitivity, button layouts, and firmware functions. The controls shown depend on the detected device and firmware.
- Choose Xbox/XInput in the cloud client when available. This is normally the least confusing choice for services and games built around Xbox prompts.
- Open the game’s controller screen. Confirm movement, camera, jump or confirm, cancel or back, Menu, View/Minus, bumpers, triggers and stick clicks. Cloud services can reserve or translate Menu and View differently.
- Run a short test session. Turn toward a fixed landmark, open and close a menu, and perform one action that uses both triggers. Correct the layout before starting a long play session.
If the cloud service shows Nintendo-style prompts
Do not change the physical button labels in your head and hope muscle memory will compensate. First look for a controller-layout selector in the cloud service or game. If it offers Xbox/XInput, select it and retest. If the service has no selector, use its displayed prompts as the authority and map the buttons in the game or CRKD app where supported.
Set up Atom+ for native Android and iOS games
Native games can use platform-specific APIs rather than the same translation layer used by a cloud client. Follow the current Atom+ guide for the phone platform, pair through Bluetooth, and then launch the game. A recent Atom+ guide lists iPhone, Android, Switch and PC support, but it also separates its instructions from the older Atom manual.
When the game detects the controller but labels are wrong
- Open the game’s controller or accessibility settings and look for a button-remap or layout option.
- If the game has no remapper, open the CRKD app while Atom+ is connected and check whether that firmware exposes button-layout controls.
- Apply one change, save it, return to the game and test every face button plus Menu and Back.
- If the mapping disappears after reconnecting, record the layout and check whether the app requires a profile save or firmware update. Do not assume a temporary special function is persistent.
Some mobile games recognize a controller but provide no on-screen prompts. In those titles, use a reversible test—such as opening a menu and cancelling—before changing several buttons at once.

Using the D-pad as an analog input
The original Atom documentation describes assigning the D-pad to the left stick, right stick, or its default function. The documented procedure uses the relevant D-pad direction together with Minus for five seconds, and the manual says special-function settings return to default after a power cycle.
This can help when a game needs camera movement but you have a specific accessibility or control-layout reason to substitute the D-pad. It is not a better general layout: digital D-pad presses cannot provide the gradual speed control of a true analog stick, so menus, platformers or camera-heavy games may feel worse.
Because Atom+ firmware and shortcuts may differ from the original Atom, confirm the exact hold combination in Atom+ documentation before using it. After applying the change, test both the intended stick and the original D-pad directions. Power-cycle the controller and test again if you need to know whether the assignment persists.

A sensitivity method that works across mobile and cloud games
No cited CRKD document publishes a validated Atom+-specific sensitivity table. The controller transmits input; the game or cloud client normally decides how camera speed, acceleration, dead-zone and aim response are interpreted. That makes a repeatable tuning method more useful than a universal number.
- Reset to the game default. Defaults provide a known starting point and prevent an old profile from hiding the effect of a new mapping.
- Pick one repeatable test. In a practice area, stand at a fixed landmark and turn to it from the same starting direction. For an aiming game, track a stationary target or make the same short thumb movement toward a target.
- Change one control. Move look or camera sensitivity a small amount, leaving acceleration, dead-zone and inversion unchanged. If the game separates horizontal and vertical axes, change only one axis first.
- Repeat the test several times. Keep the setting if you can stop on the landmark without overshooting and without an uncomfortable thumb sweep. If you overshoot, lower the value; if you must lift your thumb or make repeated swipes to turn, raise it.
- Save a profile by game type. A slower precision game and a fast shooter usually reward different values. Name profiles clearly if the game or CRKD app supports profiles.
- Retest after reconnecting. Original-Atom special functions are documented as resetting after a power cycle, and Atom+ behavior can depend on firmware and app support. Verify the result each time you update firmware, switch host devices or reconnect.
Practical starting profiles
| Game style | Start here | Raise sensitivity when… | Lower sensitivity when… |
|---|---|---|---|
| Precision aiming or slow exploration | Default look value, then make small downward adjustments | A comfortable thumb sweep cannot complete a turn | The reticle repeatedly passes the target |
| Camera-heavy action | Default value, then test a modest increase | You must lift your thumb or swipe repeatedly to face an enemy | Small movements make the camera jump past the intended direction |
| Racing or driving | Keep steering response at default while testing camera controls separately | Only if the game’s own steering response feels too slow | If tiny corrections become twitchy |
| Cloud game with noticeable latency | Tune after the stream is stable; avoid changing several response options together | The control remains accurate but turns too slowly | Latency makes overshoot worse and the target is missed consistently |
Dead-zone, acceleration and inversion should normally remain in the game or cloud client. Change them in the CRKD app only if the connected Atom+ firmware visibly exposes those controls and you understand whether the app setting is global or profile-specific.

Apply even pressure for a few seconds to allow the suction cup to adhere properly. To maintain the grip and prevent accidental falls, it's a good practice to periodically reapply pressure to the suction cup.
Separate three kinds of changes:
- Game settings: camera, look, aim, dead-zone, acceleration and inversion values stored by the title or cloud client.
- Controller settings: mappings or trigger behavior applied by Atom+ firmware or the CRKD app.
- Temporary special functions: shortcuts that may reset when the controller is powered off, as documented for the original Atom.
When a remap vanishes, reconnect to the same host, open the CRKD app, confirm the detected firmware and check whether the profile was saved. If the app cannot see the controller, close the game, disconnect other Bluetooth gamepads, power-cycle Atom+, and pair again through the operating system before reopening the app.
Troubleshooting common problems
| Symptom | Likely cause | Action |
|---|---|---|
| A and B or X and Y perform the opposite action | XInput translation or a platform-specific layout mismatch | Confirm the detected mode, select the game’s Xbox/XInput layout when available, then remap in-game or through the app. Verify any Atom+ shortcut in current documentation. |
| Buttons work in menus but not in the game | The cloud client or title has its own controller profile | Open the title’s controller settings and test Menu, View/Minus, bumpers and triggers individually. |
| The app cannot change a setting | Unsupported firmware, wrong connection order or the game still holding the Bluetooth session | Exit the game, pair in the operating system, reopen the CRKD app and check which controls the detected firmware provides. |
| D-pad remap works until shutdown | Temporary special-function behavior | Expect a reset if using the original Atom procedure; test Atom+ persistence separately and save a supported profile if available. |
| Camera feels too fast or too slow | Game sensitivity, dead-zone or acceleration—not necessarily the controller | Return to default, change one slider in a small increment and repeat the same landmark test. |
| Intermittent connection or input loss | Bluetooth interference, low battery or a client-specific connection problem | Charge the controller, remove unused paired gamepads, power-cycle, pair again and test in another title before changing mappings. |
What is established—and what is not
Published CRKD material establishes that XInput can change the apparent X/Y and A/B semantics on the original Atom, that original special functions reset after a power cycle, and that the CRKD app can provide remapping and sensitivity-related controls on supported devices and firmware. Those points explain why the same physical controller can behave differently between a cloud client, a native game and a different phone.
There is no defensible published figure for an Atom+-specific “best” look sensitivity, no universal table of LED patterns, and no guarantee that an original Atom button-hold sequence works on Atom+. User reports of successful tuning or connection trouble are useful clues, but they are not controlled tests and cannot guarantee identical behavior across firmware versions.

The Bottom Line
The most reliable Atom+ setup is an Xbox/XInput layout for cloud services, verified against each game’s prompts, with sensitivity tuned gradually from default rather than copied from an unverified number. Treat original Atom shortcuts as historical guidance only; confirm Atom+ instructions and firmware behavior before relying on them.
