Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteFor bulk liquid-waste solidification, two suppliers with published industrial package options are Martlin Distributing, which lists Power Pellets in 2,000 lb super sacks and by truckload, and APROTEK USA, which lists APROMUD in 1,000 kg big bags. Before requesting quotes, establish whether you need a solidifier for liquid waste or a flocculant for mechanical sludge dewatering: they serve different processes and are not interchangeable. Ask for a waste-specific test and dosage recommendation, current delivered pricing, the product’s SDS, and written confirmation that the receiving facility will accept the treated waste.
First identify the product class you need
“Sludge polymer” can refer to products used for two different jobs. A liquid-waste solidifier absorbs or immobilizes liquid to make waste easier to handle and transport. A coagulant or flocculant conditions solids before a mechanical process such as a press or centrifuge. The right choice depends on the process and intended end condition, not just the word “sludge.”

- Liquid-waste solidification: describe the material being treated, its liquid volume or mass, solids content, contaminants, and desired handling condition.
- Mechanical dewatering: specify the equipment and process—such as thickening, a belt press, or a centrifuge—and provide the sludge characteristics. Suppliers of dewatering polymers can help with testing and process optimization.
For the second category, U.S. Polymer Corporation describes coagulants and flocculants in small or bulk quantities, along with jar testing, plant-scale testing, and dewatering equipment. SNF/Polydyne markets CLARIFLOC polymers for municipal sludge thickening and dewatering and describes field support. Contact these suppliers when the goal is process dewatering, rather than assuming a dewatering polymer will solidify liquid waste for hauling.

Bulk suppliers listing liquid-waste solidifiers
Martlin Distributing: Power Pellets
Martlin Distributing lists Power Pellets in 2,000 lb super sacks and truckload quantities, as well as 40 lb bags. Its product page describes use for wastewater-treatment sludge disposal and says the company offers liquid-waste-stream assessment and a free bench-testing kit. Martlin states that its SDS is available on request.
#1 Best Overall
- Rapid Absorption: Instantly absorbs the mess and expands into fluffy snow-like texture on contact with spills.
- Easy to Use: Sprinkle and work the powder it in to the spill, then sweep or vacuum it up. That's it, there should be no residue.
- Efficient and economical: High absorption capacity means less product needed for effective cleanup.
- Non-Toxic: Safe for homes with children and pets.
- Versatile: Effective on numerous spills including liquids, pet accidents, grease, oil, solvents, acids, vomit, biohazards and more.
Martlin also reports that one super sack can solidify up to 1,500 gallons of water-based waste. That is a supplier claim, not a dosage guarantee for a specific sludge: solids content and chemistry can change product demand. Ask for a test using a representative sample and confirm the recommended product grade and dosage for your material.
APROTEK USA: APROMUD
APROTEK USA markets APROMUD grades for highly liquid waste, drilling cuttings, contaminated sludge, construction sites, mining, municipal lagoons, and ponds. Its listed packaging includes 25 kg bags and 1,000 kg big bags; the page also provides storage guidance. Request the grade suited to your waste, its SDS and technical data, application-specific dosage testing, and a delivered quote.
Rank #2
APROTEK’s statements about absorption, paint-filter results, and landfill use are vendor claims. They do not establish that your treated waste meets the receiving facility’s acceptance criteria.

How to compare quotes
A low price per pound does not necessarily mean a lower treatment cost. Compare the suppliers on the full delivered and disposal-related cost, using the same project assumptions where possible.
Rank #3
- Transforms liquid mess into semi-solid mass.
- Immediately neutralizes odor.
- Easy cleanup.
| What to compare | What to establish |
|---|---|
| Function and waste match | Whether the product is a liquid-waste solidifier or a dewatering flocculant; the sludge source, liquid content, solids, contaminants, and treatment objective. |
| Application evidence | Whether the supplier can test a representative waste sample, recommend dosage, and document the acceptance criteria used for the test. |
| Delivered economics | Price per pound or ton delivered, expected dosage per treated quantity, freight, minimum order, disposal or transport effects, and available technical service. |
| Supply and handling | Package size, regional availability, lead time, storage conditions, unloading equipment, labeling, and SDS availability. |
| Disposal acceptance | The receiving facility’s requirements and any waste characterization or testing it requires. Obtain approval for the specific waste and route. |
A relevant—but distinct—procurement example is the City of High Point, North Carolina’s 2026 bid for sludge thickening and dewatering polymer. It specifies 275-gallon IBC totes, requests SDS and physical and chemical information, and calls for supplier testing and compatibility review. The bid evaluates polymer cost per dry ton alongside demonstrated performance. It estimates 250,000 lb of annual use for the city’s dewatering program and specifies minimum solids capture of 90–95% for listed plant applications. These are requirements and estimates for that municipal program—not market-wide benchmarks, product guarantees, or figures for absorbent solidifiers.
What to prepare before contacting suppliers
Send each supplier enough information to assess the waste and quote the same scope. Prepare:
Rank #4
- OIL DRY ABSORBENT FOR CONCRETE & DRIVEWAY: Soaks up motor oil, gasoline, diesel, hydraulic fluid and grease on garage floors, driveways, asphalt, shop and warehouse floors. Fast-acting granules lock the spill in on contact.
- SWEEPS UP DRY, NO SLIMY RESIDUE: Apply, wait about 12 minutes, then sweep up or HEPA vacuum. Leaves no greasy film behind to track through the garage or into the house.
- GOES FURTHER THAN CAT LITTER OR SAND: Lightweight granules hold far more liquid per pound than clay litter or sand, so you use less and lift less. Nothing to grind underfoot.
- WORKS ON ALL LIQUID SPILLS: Oil, fuel, auto fluids, grease, wet paint, solvents, alcohols, acids and chemicals. Do not use on hydrofluoric acid.
- SIMPLE 3-STEP USE: Apply the granules, brush into the spill after 12 minutes, then sweep into a dustpan or vacuum clean. No scrubbing and no hosing down the driveway.
- Sludge source and treatment process.
- Estimated liquid volume or waste mass, plus approximate solids content.
- Known contaminants and waste classification, if established.
- The treatment objective and target condition for handling or transport.
- Disposal destination and its written acceptance criteria.
- Available mixing or feed equipment, site location, unloading constraints, required quantity, and delivery date.
Then ask for the exact product and grade, a representative-waste test plan and dosage recommendation, SDS and technical data, package size, minimum order, delivered cost, freight and lead time, storage and handling limits, technical support, and comparable-application references. Verify current stock and delivery coverage directly; published package sizes do not establish regional availability, minimum order, or lead time.
Confirm disposal acceptance before treating a bulk order as ready to use
Polymer treatment does not by itself change a waste’s regulatory status or guarantee landfill acceptance. Supplier claims about passing a paint-filter test or other performance criteria are not project-specific regulatory determinations. Obtain any required waste characterization and written approval from the receiving facility for the treated material and proposed disposal route. If the waste classification or route is uncertain, consult the responsible environmental professional or regulator.
