TechRadar reported that price during both June Prime Day and an October 2026 early sale. The UK October price, £119.99, was £5 higher than June’s £114.99. If you are deciding whether to buy now or wait, compare the exact model’s checkout price with its Amazon price history; no available evidence shows that an upcoming sale will beat these prices.
When should you buy an Echo Show?
Prime Day and Black Friday are recurring periods to watch for Amazon-device deals, but neither guarantees a lower price on every Echo Show model. Amazon announced that Prime Big Deal Days 2026 would run October 6–7, but that announcement does not establish what any Echo Show will cost during the event.

Use a target price for the model and country you actually want, rather than waiting for a sale event solely because of its name. For example, the Echo Show 8’s reported US offer was $124.99 in both June and October 2026. That makes $124.99 a useful recent comparison point for a US shopper, not a prediction or a confirmed record low.

The comparison shows why a single “best Echo Show price” is misleading: the US October offer matched June for the Show 5, 8, 11 and 15, but the Show 21 cost more than its June offer. In the UK, the October Show 8 was £5 higher than June, while the Show 11 was £5 lower.
Pay attention to the amount you would actually pay, not just the displayed percentage discount. TechRadar noted that the US Echo Show 11 remained $149.99 in June and October even as its listed reference price rose from $219.99 to $249.99; the advertised discount consequently changed from 32% to 40% without a lower sale price.

How to check whether a deal is genuinely good
- Open the exact product listing. Confirm the model and the market; prices for the same device differed between the US and UK snapshots.
- Check Amazon’s “Price history” link on eligible product detail pages. Amazon says the feature provides 30-, 90- and 365-day views. At the time of its May 2026 explanation, it was available to customers in the US, UK, Canada and India, with 365-day insights rolling out in the US, UK and India.
- Compare the current checkout price with the history. A crossed-out reference price or a large percentage off does not by itself show that the offer is unusually low.
- Set a target if you are willing to wait. Amazon said shoppers could set target prices and alerts for Prime Big Deal Days 2026; its announcement also described an Alexa option to automatically purchase an item if it reaches a set target.
Amazon says more than 50 million customers have used its price-history feature since it launched in 2024. That is an Amazon-reported usage figure, not an independent assessment of how much shoppers save. Amazon also describes asking Alexa about an item’s recent sale history.
