If a Helldivers 2 Warbond, Super Credits, War Medals, token, or item is missing, first identify which entitlement failed. A Warbond purchase is separate from item progression: Super Credits buy the Warbond, while War Medals unlock its pages and items. PlayStation region mismatches, Steam Family Sharing ending, a refunded Super Citizen upgrade, and the special Killzone entitlement rule each require a different fix. Use the checks below before contacting support.
First establish what is actually missing
Helldivers 2 uses several different systems that can look like one purchase problem. A Warbond is the premium content bundle. Super Credits are the currency used to buy a Warbond, and War Medals are earned and spent to unlock pages and individual items inside an owned Warbond. Owning the bundle does not automatically unlock every weapon, armor set, booster, or cosmetic.

- Warbond missing: the bundle itself is not available in your Warbond list or the purchase button still asks you to pay.
- Item missing: the Warbond is available, but an item remains locked. Check your War Medal balance and the page or preceding-item requirements.
- Super Credits missing: a purchased currency pack or credits included with a bundle did not arrive, or a later refund removed them.
- Warbond Token missing: you cannot find a token count or cannot use a token to claim a Premium Warbond.
- Super Citizen upgrade missing: the upgrade or its included content is unavailable after a PlayStation purchase, refund, or lost DLC entitlement.
Premium Warbonds cost 1,000 Super Credits. The Killzone Legendary Warbond uses a separate 1,500-Super-Credit price unless you qualify for its automatic entitlement.
Use this five-minute diagnosis
Record the platform, the exact missing asset, how access was obtained, when the transaction occurred, and whether you have already bought anything in the Warbond. Those details determine which support or refund rule applies.

Do not repeatedly buy the same Warbond while diagnosing. A second purchase can complicate a refund request and will not fix a region or entitlement error.
When a Warbond is owned but its items are locked
Check War Medals before treating it as a failed purchase
War Medals, not Super Credits, unlock the pages and items in a Warbond. Open the owned Warbond, inspect the page containing the item, and confirm that you have enough medals. Some pages also require progress through earlier pages or items. If the bundle opens normally and the purchase button is gone, the purchase entitlement is present even when individual rewards remain locked.
Separate a missing currency grant from an item prerequisite
A Super Credit balance does not substitute for War Medals, and spending Super Credits on the Warbond does not grant its contents immediately. If only one weapon, armor set, booster, or cosmetic is unavailable, capture its name and the displayed requirement. That is the information support needs to distinguish progression from an entitlement problem.

Arrowhead Player Support says that a PlayStation 5 purchase can fail to deliver Super Credits or a Super Citizen upgrade when Sony’s regional restrictions are triggered. The common pattern is a PSN account registered in one region buying from a different regional store, such as an EU account using the US store.

- Check the country or region assigned to your PSN account.
- Check the PlayStation Store region in which the Super Credits, Warbond-related content, or Super Citizen upgrade was purchased.
- If the regions differ, stop waiting for an in-game refresh; the entitlement may not be deliverable to that account.
- Contact PlayStation Support and request an incorrect-region purchase refund.
- After the store resolves the transaction, repurchase from the PlayStation Store region that matches your PSN account.
Arrowhead cannot process the monetary transaction for a PlayStation store purchase. The platform holder handles the refund and payment record, so include the store receipt and account-region details in that request.
Steam: determine whether Family Sharing revoked the content
If a Warbond, DLC armor, or Super Credits vanished after Steam Family Sharing ended, the game may be enforcing the DLC owner’s entitlement correctly rather than losing your save data. Arrowhead identifies this as a known scenario: when shared access supplied the game’s DLC and sharing stops, a player who does not own that DLC loses access to the Warbond, gear, and Super Credits provided by it.
- Open Steam and identify which account owns the Helldivers 2 DLC.
- Confirm whether your account was accessing that DLC through Family Sharing.
- Check whether Family Sharing was disabled, the lending account changed, or the owner revoked access.
- If you want the DLC-based entitlement back, purchase the DLC on your own Steam account.
- Alternatively, unlock the Warbond with Super Credits when that option is available; this restores access to the Warbond itself, but does not turn shared DLC into personal ownership.
DLC sharing is not available between console accounts. A console player therefore cannot solve a missing DLC Warbond by adding another console account to a sharing arrangement.

Super Citizen refunds can create a negative Super Credit balance
A different case occurs when you bought Super Citizen, used the Super Credits included with it to unlock the Steeled Veterans Warbond, and later refunded or lost the DLC. Arrowhead states that the removed entitlement can also deduct those credits. The real balance may become negative even though the user interface visually displays billions of Super Credits.

How to restore the balance
- Repurchase the Super Citizen upgrade, or
- Unlock Steeled Veterans again through the available purchase path.
Credits you earned through gameplay continue to apply normally. The unusual visual balance does not mean you received unlimited currency; it is a display symptom of an underlying negative balance after the entitlement was revoked.
If your situation involves a platform refund, resolve the payment matter with the platform store first. Arrowhead does not process the monetary transaction for Super Credit purchases.
Check a Warbond Token without an inventory counter
Warbond Tokens do not have a numeric inventory display. Arrowhead’s Token FAQ says there is no user-interface element that shows a token count. The button on a Premium Warbond is the authoritative check.

- Read the action button.
- “Claim Premium Warbond” means a token is available to claim that Warbond.
- “Buy Premium Warbond” means no token is available for that action.
Tokens can claim Premium Warbonds only. They cannot claim Legendary Warbonds and cannot be converted into Super Credits. If the button says “Buy Premium Warbond,” a missing number elsewhere in the interface is not evidence that the token failed to arrive; the game simply does not expose an inventory total.

Why the Killzone Legendary Warbond may still be locked
The Killzone Warbond has a specific entitlement exception. Players who previously purchased at least one paid Killzone item receive the Legendary Warbond automatically. Players who received only the listed free Killzone items do not qualify for automatic access and must pay 1,500 Super Credits.

Free-item ownership is therefore not equivalent to paid-item ownership. The Killzone Warbond and its items cannot be refunded under Arrowhead’s stated policy, including the refund-policy update dated October 7, 2026.
Prepare an Arrowhead support request
When the checks above do not resolve the problem, send one complete report rather than several short tickets. Include:

- The exact Warbond, item, Super Credit pack, token, or upgrade name.
- The displayed Super Credit or War Medal cost.
- Your platform and account identifier used for the purchase.
- The estimated purchase date and time, plus the store receipt or transaction record when available.
- Whether the content came from a direct purchase, Steam Family Sharing, or a DLC bundle.
- Whether you have already purchased any item in the affected Warbond.
- What the game currently shows, including the exact button text or error message.
The item name, price, and approximate time are especially important for Arrowhead’s in-game policy review. Screenshots of the Warbond screen and your current currency balance can help show whether the bundle is owned but progression is blocked.
Know which company handles the refund
Arrowhead’s in-game policy covers items bought within the previous seven days. It permits a Warbond refund only when nothing has been purchased in that Warbond. The policy allows three refund requests per year, with up to three items in each request.
Those limits apply to the in-game support process and do not replace a platform store’s own rules. PlayStation, Steam, or another platform holder handles refunds for platform transactions and Super Credit purchases because Arrowhead cannot process those monetary payments. Use the platform channel for a wrong-region purchase, a currency transaction, or another store-payment issue; use Arrowhead support for an in-game entitlement or item-delivery problem.
Before submitting a Warbond refund request
- Confirm the purchase is within the seven-day in-game window.
- Make sure no item has been purchased in that Warbond if you are requesting a Warbond refund.
- Count your requests for the current year and the number of items in the request.
- Do not spend more medals or credits while the entitlement is being investigated.
A practical decision path
- Open the Warbond screen. If the Warbond opens, inspect medals and page prerequisites before reporting a purchase failure.
- For a missing token, open a Premium Warbond and use the “Claim Premium Warbond” or “Buy Premium Warbond” button as the check.
- For PlayStation currency or upgrades, compare the PSN account region with the store region and contact PlayStation Support if they differ.
- For Steam content that disappeared, verify whether Family Sharing supplied the DLC and buy the DLC yourself or use Super Credits to unlock the Warbond.
- For a Super Citizen refund case, check whether Steeled Veterans access was removed and restore that entitlement to correct the credit balance.
- For Killzone, determine whether you bought a paid item; free-item ownership alone does not grant the Legendary Warbond.
- If none applies, send Arrowhead the exact content name, cost, transaction time, platform, ownership source, and current screen text.
This sequence prevents the most common mix-ups: treating a medal prerequisite as a failed purchase, expecting a token counter that does not exist, or sending a platform-payment dispute to a game support team that cannot refund the transaction.
