Then check whether you already qualify for access through a TV or mobile provider, whether your device supports the live stream, and what the checkout and cancellation terms mean. WWE rights are split across services in the United States and vary by country elsewhere, so a familiar brand name alone is not enough.
Start with your country and the exact WWE program
WWE distribution is divided by territory and content. A service that carries a weekly show may not carry that show’s premium live events (PLEs), and an archive listing does not establish that new events stream live there. Use WWE’s current viewing guide to check the specific event or program in the country where you will watch. Rights can change; check again close to the event date.

United States: different services carry different programming
| What you want to watch | U.S. service listed by WWE | What to know |
|---|---|---|
| Main-roster PLEs, including WrestleMania 42, SummerSlam, Royal Rumble and Survivor Series | ESPN App with ESPN Unlimited | WWE lists ESPN Unlimited for these live events. Netflix’s U.S. WWE library is a separate archive offering, not the live PLE home. |
| NXT PLEs and weekly NXT | The CW | WWE lists weekly NXT on Tuesdays at 8/7 C. The CW and WWE announced that NXT PLEs would air exclusively on The CW. |
| Saturday Night’s Main Event | Peacock | Check the event listing for the particular date. |
| Raw | Netflix | WWE lists Raw on Netflix in the United States. |
| SmackDown | USA Network | WWE lists Fridays at 8/7 C. |
| WWE PLEs before September 2025 | Netflix | Netflix became the U.S. home of this older PLE library on January 6, 2026. Archive availability is not live-event carriage. |
| WWE Main Event | Rumble | WWE announced Rumble as its new home beginning October 14, 2026. |
These listings are a snapshot of WWE’s guide checked October 13, 2026; confirm the current listing rather than assuming a service’s rights are unchanged.

If your priority is a main-roster PLE, ESPN Unlimited is the relevant U.S. listing; if you also follow NXT PLEs, The CW is a separate rights destination. Someone who wants Raw, SmackDown, weekly NXT and live PLEs should not expect a single U.S. subscription to cover every item. Outside the United States: verify the local market
WWE says Netflix carries Raw, SmackDown, NXT and PLEs live in most international regions, but that is not a universal rule. WWE lists Germany and Austria as exceptions, with BILD and ProSieben MAXX carrying Raw, SmackDown and NXT, and Sub-Saharan Africa as an exception served by SuperSport. Netflix’s own country guide also uses a selected list and notes that additional countries may be added. Do not infer coverage from Netflix simply being available in your country.
Japan is a dated example of why the country check matters: Netflix announced that WWE programming there moved to Netflix on October 1, 2026, including weekly flagship shows, PLEs and the archive. Netflix says the programming is included across its plans in Japan, but live programming has ads regardless of plan. That arrangement does not establish terms for other territories.
If you travel or are choosing a service while abroad, check the market where you will actually watch rather than assuming that a home-country subscription has identical rights everywhere. The guide’s country-specific entries are more useful than a general brand-level search result. For Japan, for example, Netflix’s announcement is specific to that market and date; it should not be treated as a global rule about plan inclusion, advertising or archive availability.
Check whether the plan includes the kind of access you need
“WWE is available” can mean live events, weekly episodes, replays or an older archive—not necessarily all four. Before subscribing, identify whether you need to watch a PLE live, catch a weekly show, or browse past events. Then confirm the relevant service’s event listing and plan details. For example, Netflix’s U.S. guide says U.S. members do not get SmackDown, NXT or WWE PLEs through Netflix. Netflix’s U.S. library announcement covers PLEs from before September 2025, which should not be mistaken for current live PLE rights.

The CW and WWE announced rights to 20 NXT PLEs over the next several years, without specifying an annual number. That commitment is not a promise of 20 events every year; check the schedule for the event you want.
Separate three questions when reading a service’s page: Is the event available in your country? Is it available live or only later as a replay or archive? And does the plan you are considering include that access? A replay can be useful if you do not need to watch in real time, but it is not a substitute if avoiding spoilers or watching live is the point. Netflix warns that some devices do not support live streams and that a replay may appear a few days later in those cases.
Calculate what you will actually pay
Compare the total cost for the content you want—not just the first price you notice. Check whether the price is monthly or annual, whether it is an introductory offer, whether taxes apply at checkout, and whether you already have eligible access through a provider. A bundle may cost only modestly more than one service, but it is useful only if the additional services are worth paying for.
| ESPN option displayed in the U.S. | Displayed starting price | Qualification |
|---|---|---|
| ESPN Unlimited standalone | $31.99 per month | Price displayed by ESPN on October 13, 2026; volatile and U.S.-specific. |
| Disney+, Hulu and ESPN bundle | $35.99 per month | Price displayed by ESPN on October 13, 2026; volatile and U.S.-specific. |
ESPN says some eligible TV or mobile provider customers may activate ESPN Unlimited at no extra cost. Check eligibility with your provider before starting a separate subscription. The prices above are time-sensitive examples, not a guarantee of today’s checkout price or of eligibility for a provider offer.

- 4K streaming made simple:With America’s number 1 TV streaming platform,* exploring popular apps—plus tons of free movies, shows, and live TV—is as easy as it is fun. *Based on hours streamed—Hypothesis Group
- 4K picture quality: With Roku Streaming Stick Plus, watch your favorites with brilliant 4K picture and vivid HDR color.
- Compact without compromises: Our sleek design won’t block neighboring HDMI ports, and it even powers from your TV alone, plugging into the back and staying out of sight. No wall outlet, no extra cords, no clutter.
- No more juggling remotes: Power up your TV, adjust the volume, and control your Roku device with one remote. Use your voice to quickly search, play entertainment, and more.
- Shows on the go: Take your TV to-go when traveling—without needing to log into someone else’s device.
For a fair comparison, put your desired content and the billing route beside the price. A lower-cost plan that lacks the live event you want is not a useful substitute; an existing provider benefit could make a standalone option unnecessary. The ESPN bundle’s displayed price was $4 more per month than standalone ESPN Unlimited when checked, but that difference only represents value if you also want the included Disney+ and Hulu access. Do not count an unverified promotion or provider benefit in your budget until the provider confirms your eligibility and the checkout screen shows the applicable terms.
Confirm your device can play the live stream
Check the exact television, streaming player, phone, tablet, computer or game console you plan to use, and make sure the relevant app supports live playback on it. Netflix lists these device categories for live events but warns that some devices do not support live streams; a replay may appear a few days later in those cases. ESPN lists Roku players and TVs among its supported devices. A device that runs the app may still not support the live stream you intend to watch.
- Open the provider’s current device-support page and verify the model or device category you use.
- Install or update the service app on that device, then sign in to the account that will hold the subscription.
- Check whether the service offers a live event preview or other way to confirm playback before event time. Do not assume that replay access means live access.
- If your television is incompatible, check whether a streaming player you already own supports the app before buying another device. Netflix and ESPN list Roku devices as supported options; confirm your model and the service’s current requirements.
Buying a separate streamer is optional, not a WWE-specific requirement. Netflix identifies smart TVs, streaming media players, phones and tablets, computers, and game consoles as supported categories, subject to its live-streaming device limitations.
A practical check is to test the same screen and connection you plan to use for the event, not just to confirm that an app appears in an app store. If the device is older or the service’s help page warns about live-stream limits, decide whether delayed replay would be acceptable before paying. A separate streaming player is worth considering only if you need one to access the service; no official source listed a particular model as best, so verify compatibility before buying.

Read the billing and cancellation terms before checkout
Confirm who owns the account, which company will bill you, when renewal occurs, and where cancellation must be handled. A subscription started directly with a streaming service can have different terms from access activated through a TV provider or a bundle partner.
For direct ESPN subscriptions, ESPN says you can cancel at any time, but access continues through the end of the current billing cycle. It does not refund or credit a partially used period. If ESPN access comes through a TV provider, cancellation or switching away from an eligible plan can end that entitlement under the provider’s terms. Do not apply ESPN’s rules to other services.
- Check the checkout screen for the renewal date and billing frequency.
- Identify whether the subscription is direct, provider-billed or part of a bundle.
- Find the cancellation route for that billing source before you pay.
- Review taxes and any offer conditions shown at checkout.
That distinction is easy to overlook: activating a provider-linked benefit and subscribing directly are not necessarily the same arrangement. If you later change or cancel the eligible TV or mobile plan, the provider-linked ESPN entitlement may end under that provider’s terms. Before you start, note which account is the account holder and which company will process payment so you know where to manage renewal or cancellation.

Make the decision in this order
- Name the event or show. Write down whether you want a particular live PLE, weekly show, replay or archive.
- Check the country-specific rights listing. Use WWE’s guide for the market where you will watch, and verify it again near the event.
- Check what you already pay for. Ask your TV or mobile provider about eligibility and review existing subscriptions before adding another service.
- Verify the plan and playback device. Confirm that the plan includes the content and that your device supports the live stream—not merely the app or replay.
- Review the full checkout and cancellation terms. Note the billing route, renewal date, taxes, and any limits on refunds or cancellation.
- Subscribe only after those checks agree. Keep the confirmation and account details so you can manage the subscription through the correct billing provider.
There is no single best service for every WWE viewer without knowing their country, favorite programming, existing subscriptions and budget. A useful comparison is therefore a small checklist, not a universal ranking: country and rights; the exact live show, archive or replay; total price after any verified provider access; live playback on your device; and the cancellation terms for your billing route. Recheck the official guide close to the event because rights and offers can change.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does one U.S. streaming service include every WWE show and event?
No. WWE’s U.S. listings split programming across services and channels: ESPN Unlimited for main-roster PLEs, The CW for NXT PLEs and weekly NXT, Peacock for Saturday Night’s Main Event, Netflix for Raw, and USA Network for SmackDown. Check the current guide for the particular show or event.
Can I watch live WWE PLEs on Netflix in the United States?
Netflix’s U.S. guide says U.S. members do not receive WWE PLEs through Netflix. Netflix became the U.S. home for PLEs from before September 2025 beginning January 6, 2026, which is archive access rather than current live PLE carriage.
Could I already have ESPN Unlimited through my TV or mobile provider?
Possibly. ESPN says eligible TV or mobile provider customers may be able to activate ESPN Unlimited at no extra cost. Ask your provider to confirm eligibility before subscribing directly, and check whether changing the provider plan could affect that access.
If I cancel direct ESPN Unlimited, do I get a refund for unused time?
ESPN says direct subscribers can cancel at any time and keep access through the end of the current billing cycle, but it does not refund or credit a partially used period. Provider-billed access may follow different provider terms.
Does Netflix carry WWE live in every country?
No. WWE says most international regions receive Raw, SmackDown, NXT and PLEs through Netflix, but lists Germany and Austria and Sub-Saharan Africa as exceptions. Netflix also describes selected country availability, so check WWE’s current guide for the country where you will watch.
Do I need to buy a streaming player to watch WWE?
Not necessarily. Netflix lists smart TVs, streaming players, phones and tablets, computers, and game consoles as supported categories, while warning that some devices do not support live streams. ESPN lists Roku players and TVs. Check the exact service and device you already own before buying anything.
The Bottom Line
Before subscribing, match the exact WWE event or show to the current country-specific listing, then verify live versus archive access, device compatibility, total cost and billing terms. Check for provider-linked access first, and confirm the cancellation route before paying. No single service is the right choice for every market or WWE viewing goal.
