Finish Vor’s Prize, enter any mission on Eris, collect Moonflesh, and exchange it with the Sentient Mothership Praghasa for cosmetics, returning equipment, currencies, Tauforged Archon Shards, arcanes and a Legendary Core. The Eris Star Chart and Junction requirements are temporarily lifted during the operation.
Spend your Moonflesh before the event closes. Digital Extremes has stated that “There will be no reruns of Epoch Operation: Taubound,” and the event’s dialogue will not return either.

How Taubound rewards are claimed
Taubound uses a simple earn-and-spend loop rather than a conventional mission reward screen. Moonflesh is the event currency. You earn it while playing Eris content, then take it to Praghasa, the Sentient Mothership, and select items from her event shop.

This is the only quest requirement for joining the operation. During the event, you do not need to satisfy the normal Star Chart or Junction requirements to reach Eris.
- Play any Eris mission. The official announcement says Eris missions provide fixed Moonflesh amounts. Infested enemies can also drop the currency, and rotating Tactical Alerts can provide opportunities to accumulate it faster.
- Visit Praghasa. Interact with the mothership to open the Taubound shop. The same interaction supplies a special daily narrative update while the operation is active.
- Buy the items you want. Choose rewards in the shop and confirm each purchase with Moonflesh. Inventory, prices and purchase counters are displayed by the live vendor.
- Finish spending by November 17, 2026. After the operation ends, its shop and event dialogue are not scheduled to return.
You can therefore start with the quest, run Eris missions at your normal pace, and return to Praghasa whenever you have enough currency for a target item. There is no separate claim code or account-page redemption step.

What is in the Taubound reward shop?
The inventory combines new Taubound cosmetics with returning event items and practical progression resources. The table separates the main groups so you can see whether a purchase is appearance-focused, useful for progression, or collectible.

New headline cosmetics
The Contegorus armor, Vacis Amp Skin and Dhampyre Syandana are the most prominent new appearance rewards. The rest of the new group covers several cosmetic slots: vessel glyphs, a floof, the Khadati Sumdali, a Taubound Sigil, an event emblem, the Krios Signa and The Moon Killer Honoria.
Returning gear and collectibles
Returning inventory is useful for players who missed earlier availability and for collectors filling gaps. Spectra Vandal is the returning weapon, while Basmu is offered as a blueprint. Haalvu, Valdur’s Syandana, the Supulchrax skins for Cortege and Morgha, and The Ballroom Simulacrum make up the larger equipment and customization portion. Badges, emblems, sigils and the Naktavyre armor pieces round out the returning cosmetics.

Power and progression items
The shop’s non-cosmetic items include a Legendary Core, one-time Tauforged Archon Shards in all three listed colors, Kuva, Credits and Endo. A Legendary Core is especially valuable because it can fully rank a mod without consuming the usual endo and credit costs, so players who use cores should decide on that purchase before spending Moonflesh on lower-priority cosmetics.
Community-progress gates for Contegorus armor
The three Contegorus armor components are tied to overall community progress, not to an individual player’s personal completion percentage. Shacknews reported these thresholds for the 2026 operation:

These gates mean that a component can remain unavailable even when you have enough Moonflesh. Check Praghasa after the community progress changes; the item should appear once its threshold is met. The reported shop price for each Contegorus piece is 175 Moonflesh after its gate has opened.

Moonflesh prices, purchase limits and priority choices
Warframe.today’s October 18, 2026 guide recorded the following Moonflesh prices. Event vendors can be updated while an operation is live, so treat these figures as a current reference and confirm the number shown in Praghasa’s interface before committing currency.

The same report identifies repeatable resource limits of 25 purchases for 2,000 Kuva, 100 purchases for 10,000 Credits and 300 purchases for 100 Endo. Shacknews reports a cap of up to 42 arcane purchases, equivalent to two full stacks across the arcane inventory. Individual arcane prices are shown by Praghasa; use the in-game counter to see how many remain for your account.
A practical spending order
There is no universal best order, but the purchase limits make a priority plan useful:

- Secure one-time power items first. If you need a Legendary Core or a specific Tauforged Archon Shard, reserve 500 or 375 Moonflesh respectively before buying repeatable resources.
- Watch the Contegorus thresholds. Save 175 Moonflesh per armor piece if you want the complete set, and remember that the Chest Plate cannot be bought until the 90% community milestone is reached.
- Choose limited returning gear next. Spectra Vandal, Haalvu and the Basmu Blueprint are finite purchases, so they are safer targets than repeatable Kuva, Credit or Endo.
- Use remaining currency on arcanes or resources. Arcanes can be bought up to the reported 42-purchase ceiling, while Kuva, Credits and Endo have their own quantity caps.
- Leave cosmetics for the end only if you are uncertain. Cosmetic items do not improve combat performance, but they are permanently missable when the operation closes. If a particular cosmetic is your goal, reserve its Moonflesh instead of assuming you can earn it later.
The priority changes for a collector: a 500-Moonflesh Syandana or a 100-Moonflesh glyph may matter more to you than a resource bundle. Praghasa’s ownership markers and remaining-purchase counters are the final authority for your account.

Normally, Star Chart progression and Junction requirements control access to Eris. Taubound temporarily removes those requirements, but it does not remove the need to complete Vor’s Prize. New players should follow the opening quest first, then use the event’s temporary access to enter Eris missions.

- Required: completion of Vor’s Prize.
- Not required during Taubound: the normal Eris Star Chart route and Junction unlock conditions.
- Still useful: a Warframe and weapon setup capable of handling Infested missions, because enemy drops are one source of Moonflesh.
If Eris nodes or Praghasa do not appear, verify that Vor’s Prize is marked complete on the same account and that the event is still within its October 15–November 17 window. The event requirement is not the separate Tau Prologue quest.
Tau Prologue is separate from Taubound rewards
Tau Prologue is a permanent Codex addition with its own prerequisites: The Hex and The Old Peace. Although its story is connected to the same broader narrative, it does not award Moonflesh, Taubound shop items or the event’s special Praghasa dialogue. Completing it cannot substitute for Vor’s Prize, and it does not extend the event deadline.
What happens when the operation ends?
Taubound ends on November 17, 2026. Digital Extremes’ official announcement says there will be no reruns, and the associated event dialogue will not return. Any Moonflesh left unspent therefore has no announced future use, while missed rewards cannot be reclaimed in a later Taubound cycle.
Plan around the community gates rather than waiting until the final day. Check the vendor periodically for newly unlocked Contegorus pieces, buy one-time items before repeatable resources, and complete the daily Praghasa interaction while it is available if you want the full event narrative.
