For the English/global version of Code Geass: Lost Stories, the announced service end was August 29, 2024, at 00:00 PST. The shutdown notice said players could not log in after that point. It did not specify what happened to unused paid currency or when player data would be deleted, so those outcomes cannot be confirmed from the available notice.
Can you still log in to the global version?
No. A shutdown announcement attributed to the official CodeGeassglobal profile said service would end at 00:00 PST on August 29, 2024, and that players would not be able to log in once that period had passed. The dates are in the past. The notice text is reproduced by Sotwe, rather than being directly available here as an official post.

The announcement also set a cutoff of 00:00 PST on July 29, 2024, for new downloads and purchases. That is a past cutoff, not a date on which existing player data was stated to be erased.
What happened to purchases and unused currency?
The global shutdown notice confirms the purchase cutoff, but the accessible text does not describe a refund process or say whether unused paid currency was refunded, converted, or forfeited. It also does not establish the treatment of free currency or previously purchased in-game items. A refund should not be assumed, but the notice alone is not enough to conclude that refunds were definitively unavailable.

The Japan-region support FAQ does not settle the global question: it covers a player-initiated account deletion, not the global service shutdown.
Does the shutdown mean player data was deleted?
No deletion date or data-retention schedule is stated in the accessible global shutdown notice. Losing the ability to log in means the service no longer provides account access; it does not, by itself, show when or whether the operator deleted backend records. The available sources do not establish the global accounts’ later data disposition.

Why Japan-region account deletion rules are different
The official Japan-region Lost Stories FAQ, dated June 10, 2024, describes what happens when a player chooses to delete an account. It says deletion removes player data, cannot be reversed, and prevents account recovery or refunds for paid Sakura Diamonds. It also distinguishes uninstalling the app from deleting an account.
Those rules concern intentional account deletion in the Japan service. They do not establish what happened to global accounts or global paid currency when service ended.

Can an account or purchases be restored?
The stated end of login access means players cannot use the global service to retrieve their accounts through the announced login path. The cited sources identify no recovery product or method that restores Lost Stories access, purchased content, or player data after shutdown.
The game was announced as a smartphone and PC title with a story experienced from a selectable male or female protagonist’s point of view, as described on the official Code Geass franchise site. That product format does not provide a way to restore an online account once service access has ended.
