CCC Intelligent Solutions provides cloud software and artificial-intelligence services for the property-and-casualty insurance economy. Its platform connects insurers, collision-repair businesses, automakers, parts suppliers, lenders and other participants, while automating work such as damage assessment, estimating, claims handling and payment-related transactions. CCC ONE is the company’s total repair platform, built primarily for collision-repair shops and other facilities that estimate and repair damaged vehicles.

What CCC Intelligent Solutions does

CCC operates a business-to-business software platform rather than a consumer app. Its products digitize the path from an auto accident to a completed repair and insurance claim. The company combines workflow software, industry data, artificial intelligence and connections among the organizations involved in a claim.

The practical goal is to replace disconnected phone calls, spreadsheets, paper documents and manual re-entry with shared digital workflows. A repairer can prepare an estimate, obtain parts information, exchange documents with an insurer and keep a vehicle owner informed in connected systems. An insurer can receive structured claim information, review estimates and coordinate decisions without rebuilding the same data by hand.

CCC describes its role as helping insurers, repairers, automakers, parts suppliers and others automate and streamline the auto-claims and collision-repair process. The company also serves participants elsewhere in the property-and-casualty insurance economy, including lenders, dealers and service providers.

How the CCC IX Cloud fits together

The CCC IX Cloud is the company’s core technology platform. CCC says it integrates data and artificial intelligence across the ecosystem and uses event-driven workflows to deliver an insight or task to the appropriate participant when it is needed.

For example, a change in a vehicle’s repair estimate can trigger a review, a parts-availability check, a message to an insurer or an update for a customer. The value is not only the individual software screen; it is the shared data model and network that allow organizations with different responsibilities to act on the same claim.

CCC presents three market-facing solution families on this platform:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
Solution Primary users Main purpose
CCC ONE Collision-repair shops and other vehicle-damage estimators Repair estimating, shop operations, partner connectivity, customer communication and related repair workflows
CCC for Insurance Auto insurers and self-insurers Claims intake, triage, handling, review, payments and other insurance workflows
OEM Net Automotive manufacturers Connections between vehicle manufacturers and the claims and repair ecosystem

These products share the IX Cloud foundation, so a repair shop’s work can connect with an insurer’s claim process, an automaker’s information and a supplier’s inventory data without requiring every participant to use the same front-end application.

What CCC ONE software is

CCC calls CCC ONE its “total repair platform.” It is designed to help a collision-repair business run its operation, not merely produce a damage estimate.

Estimating and repair planning

A shop uses CCC ONE to document vehicle damage and create a repair estimate. The estimate becomes a structured record that can be exchanged with insurers and other partners. That structure supports review, approvals, revisions and downstream work rather than leaving the estimate as an isolated document.

Shop productivity and workflow management

The platform includes productivity-management capabilities intended to help a shop monitor work as vehicles move through the operation. Managers can use workflow information to identify bottlenecks, coordinate staff and track progress across repair jobs.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Quality monitoring

CCC lists quality monitoring as part of the platform. In practice, this gives a repair organization a way to watch whether work is progressing according to its processes and whether completed jobs meet the shop’s quality expectations.

Communication with partners and customers

CCC ONE connects a shop to insurers, parts providers, diagnostics services and other participants in the network. It also supports communication with vehicle owners, so status information and repair-related messages can be handled as part of the job rather than through separate, unconnected tools.

Parts, diagnostics and related services

The platform can connect repairers with parts inventory and pricing, including information from parts suppliers, wholesalers, aftermarket suppliers and recyclers. Connections to diagnostics services and other repair partners help a shop coordinate information needed to complete a modern vehicle repair.

Who uses CCC ONE directly?

The primary users are collision-repair facilities and other businesses that estimate damaged vehicles. CCC’s 2024 Form 10-K reported more than 30,500 such facilities. The number is a measure of facilities reported by CCC, not a claim that every employee at each facility uses every CCC ONE feature.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Typical direct users include:

  • Estimators, who inspect damage and prepare or revise estimates.
  • Repair planners and production managers, who schedule work and monitor vehicle progress.
  • Parts and purchasing staff, who check availability, compare options and coordinate orders.
  • Technicians and quality personnel, who rely on repair information and process checks.
  • Customer-service and front-office teams, who communicate status and manage administrative steps.
  • Owners and general managers, who use productivity, quality and reporting information to run the business.

Some users may access only a portion of the workflow. A small shop might focus on estimating and insurer communication, while a large multi-location operation may use the platform for production management, reporting, customer updates and partner integrations across many facilities.

Who connects to the CCC repair network?

CCC ONE sits inside a broader network, so many organizations that do not operate the shop can still exchange information with it.

Participant How it interacts with the network Published scale or context
Auto insurers and self-insurers Receive estimates, review claims, coordinate approvals and participate in insurer-repairer programs. More than 300 insurers were reported in CCC’s 2024 Form 10-K.
Automotive manufacturers Provide vehicle and repair information and connect with claims and repair workflows through OEM-related services. CCC reported relationships with 12 of the top 15 automotive manufacturers by new-vehicle sales in its 2024 Form 10-K.
Parts suppliers, wholesalers, aftermarket suppliers and recyclers Expose inventory, pricing and sourcing information to repair businesses. CCC’s 2024 Form 10-K reported more than 5,500 parts suppliers; its current corporate site displays more than 5,000.
Diagnostics providers Supply diagnostic services or results needed during repair planning and completion. CCC identifies diagnostics as part of its connected repair ecosystem; a separate provider count was not stated.
Lenders and dealers Participate in insurance, vehicle-finance or vehicle-service processes connected to a claim. CCC identifies these groups as connected participants; a separate user count was not stated.

CCC’s 2026 investor profile says its platform connects more than 35,000 businesses across the insurance economy. That broader figure includes insurers, automakers, collision repairers, parts suppliers, lenders and other participants; it is not a count of CCC ONE repair-shop installations alone.

What a CCC ONE repair workflow looks like

The exact screens and responsibilities vary by shop, insurer program and integration, but the connected process generally follows this sequence:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  1. Open the vehicle and claim record. The shop captures customer, vehicle and insurer details in the repair workflow.
  2. Document damage and build an estimate. An estimator records visible damage and required operations, then creates a structured estimate that can be sent for review.
  3. Check parts and repair information. The shop checks available parts, prices and sourcing options, and obtains relevant diagnostics or vehicle information through connected services.
  4. Exchange the estimate with the insurer. The insurer can review the estimate, request changes, approve work or communicate other claim requirements through the connected process.
  5. Plan and schedule production. Once work is authorized, managers coordinate technicians, parts and bay capacity while monitoring the vehicle’s status.
  6. Update the estimate as conditions change. Additional damage discovered during teardown can be documented and routed through the same review process.
  7. Monitor quality and completion. The shop uses workflow and quality information to verify that required work is complete before delivery.
  8. Keep the customer informed. Customer-facing communication can be managed alongside partner and insurer updates, reducing the need to maintain separate status records.

This sequence explains why CCC ONE is broader than estimating software. Estimating is the entry point, but the product’s stated scope includes operational productivity, quality monitoring and communication throughout the repair lifecycle.

What artificial intelligence and data add

CCC applies AI and accumulated industry data to several use cases across its platform. The company identifies vehicle-damage detection, claim triage, claim handling, repair estimating, intelligent claim review and claim subrogation among its AI-enabled applications.

These capabilities are not all identical to a feature inside CCC ONE. Some are directed at insurers through CCC for Insurance, some support automakers or network services, and some assist repair workflows. The shared platform allows information generated in one part of the ecosystem to inform another, subject to the participating organizations’ processes and permissions.

CCC says the IX Cloud contains more than $1 trillion in historical data, according to its 2026 investor profile and IX Cloud materials. That figure describes the historical data associated with the platform; it does not mean every customer can view all of it or that every estimate is produced automatically.

How large is the platform?

CCC publishes several scale measures. They come from different pages and reporting periods, so they should not be treated as one simultaneously audited operating statistic.

Measure Published figure Context
Connected businesses More than 35,000 CCC investor profile, 2026; includes participants across the insurance economy.
Collision-repair facilities and other estimators More than 30,500 CCC current corporate site, accessed in 2026.
Auto insurers More than 300 CCC current corporate site, accessed in 2026; the 2024 Form 10-K also reported agreements with more than 300 insurers.
Parts suppliers More than 5,000 CCC current corporate site, accessed in 2026.
Historical data More than $1 trillion CCC investor profile and IX Cloud materials, 2026.
Annual claims processed More than 17 million CCC current corporate site, accessed in 2026.
Annual transactions More than $100 billion CCC investor profile, 2026.

The discrepancy between the current “5,000-plus” parts-supplier figure and the 2024 Form 10-K’s “more than 5,500” reflects different reporting dates or presentation choices. It is not evidence that one number should be silently substituted for the other.

Is CCC ONE for insurance companies or body shops?

CCC ONE is principally for body shops, collision-repair facilities and other businesses that estimate or repair damaged vehicles. Insurance companies are important users of the surrounding CCC network, but CCC positions their primary software under the separate CCC for Insurance solution family.

The distinction matters when evaluating a purchase or integration:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • A repair shop evaluating estimating, production, parts and customer communication should investigate CCC ONE.
  • An insurer evaluating claim intake, triage, review, handling or subrogation should investigate CCC for Insurance and the relevant network connections.
  • An automaker evaluating participation in repair and claims information flows should investigate OEM Net and related IX Cloud capabilities.
  • A supplier or diagnostics provider generally connects through an integration or network relationship rather than operating CCC ONE as its core system.

Organizations can participate in more than one role. A self-insured fleet, dealer group or enterprise repair network may need a combination of capabilities, while a standalone shop may use only the repair-focused product.

What is not publicly established about CCC ONE

CCC’s published materials describe the platform’s functions and network reach but do not provide a universal public price list. They also do not establish one standard implementation timeline, training package or support level that applies to every shop, insurer or integration. Those details should be confirmed for the specific business, location, number of users, integrations and insurer-program requirements.

The published figures also do not by themselves prove that every connected organization uses every CCC ONE module, that all features are available in every country, or that an AI recommendation can replace professional review. Repairers and insurers remain responsible for their own technical, legal, safety and claims decisions.

Questions to ask before adopting or integrating

A repair business can make a more useful evaluation by requesting concrete answers in these areas:

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.
  • Workflow coverage: Which estimating, scheduling, parts, diagnostics, quality and customer-communication tasks are included in the proposed edition?
  • Insurer connectivity: Which insurer programs and direct-repair relationships can the shop use, and what additional agreements are required?
  • Parts and OEM data: Which suppliers, recyclers, automakers and diagnostic services are available in the shop’s market?
  • Integration method: Are existing accounting, shop-management, scanning, calibration or customer-messaging systems supported through certified integrations?
  • Data controls: How are user permissions, retention, exports, audit records and customer information handled?
  • Operations: What implementation, migration, training and support services are included, and which carry separate charges?
  • Performance measures: Which reports track cycle time, supplement frequency, touch time, quality issues, parts delays and customer updates?
  • AI oversight: Which recommendations are advisory, what review is required, and how can staff correct an incorrect result?

Current corporate-status note

CCC’s investor-relations page lists a definitive-agreement announcement dated October 15, 2026, concerning an acquisition by GTCR and Elliott. The completion status of that transaction is time-sensitive and should be checked against the company’s latest investor-relations filings before relying on it for procurement, ownership or contract decisions. The transaction does not change the basic product distinction described here: CCC ONE is the repair-focused platform within the broader CCC IX Cloud.

Bottom line: CCC Intelligent Solutions supplies the digital infrastructure behind connected auto-claims and collision-repair workflows. CCC ONE is the shop-facing part of that infrastructure, used by collision-repair businesses to estimate damage, coordinate repairs, connect with insurers and suppliers, manage productivity and quality, and communicate with customers. Insurers, automakers, parts companies, lenders and other organizations use the surrounding CCC network rather than treating CCC ONE as a standalone insurer system.
