In the US, a 32-inch smart TV can start around $100 for a basic HD or Full HD model. Official listings also show higher-tier options, including a 32-inch 4K QLED model starting at $299.99. These are displayed starting prices, not guaranteed checkout totals; the exact model, seller, promotion, stock, shipping, and tax affect what you pay.

Official product listings checked on October 7, 2026, show a wide gap between entry-level 32-inch sets and a premium 4K example. They illustrate available price points, not a market-wide average.

Why prices differ at the same screen size
Resolution
A 32-inch smart TV may be HD, Full HD (1080p), or 4K. The cited Roku examples include HD and Full HD models; Samsung’s Q8F example is 4K. Resolution is one useful comparison, but it does not by itself explain every price difference.

Picture tier and model features
The Q8F is a QLED model, while the entry-level Roku examples are HD or Full HD listings. The listings establish those product categories, not a controlled comparison of picture quality. Features and the exact model can contribute to price as well.
Model year and code
Check the model code and year, not only the screen size or product-family name. Roku’s support page distinguishes 2026 and 2025 32-inch model codes: Roku TV model numbers and model years. Samsung’s US catalog also lists 2025 32-inch HD H5000F and Full HD F6000F models, but the cited listing results do not establish prices for those sets.

How to compare the price you will actually pay
- Choose the picture tier. Decide whether HD, Full HD, or 4K suits how you will use the TV, then compare sets at that tier.
- Match the exact model. Verify the model code and year in the listing so you are not comparing different versions under a similar name.
- Check the current offer. A manufacturer’s finder or product page may show a starting amount rather than a price available from every seller. Confirm availability and the seller’s current price.
- Review checkout costs. Include shipping and tax, and account for any promotion only if it applies to your purchase.
Do you need to buy an antenna?
No antenna is needed just to use a TV’s streaming features. If you want local over-the-air broadcast channels, you may need a compatible HDTV antenna; TCL’s product information describes pairing an antenna to receive local channels: TCL 32S327 product page. An antenna is an optional cost for that use case, not a requirement for every 32-inch smart TV buyer.
