In an Xbox Wire interview, design director Laura de Llorens similarly described them as “passive boosts” (September 26, 2026 interview).

That makes a talisman part of the overall build rather than a standalone active move. The official material does not provide named talismans, specific effects, or numerical bonus values, so there is not enough published information to compare individual items or recommend a best one.
How to see talisman effects in your build
The game’s “Effects and Enchantments” menu brings together effects from weapons, armor, and talismans, so you can inspect how your gear contributes to a build. Xbox Wire’s August 26, 2026 gameplay preview describes the menu, but does not publish a list of talisman entries or their values.

Do talismans have rarity?
De Llorens said, “There are effects. There are rarities,” when discussing the game’s customization systems. This confirms that rarity is part of the broader system, but the interview does not specify how many talisman rarity tiers exist, whether every talisman carries a rarity label, or how rarity changes a talisman’s effect. Avoid assuming tier names or stat differences from other Minecraft games.
Can you upgrade talismans?
The official systems overview says enchantments can be upgraded and leveled over time. It discusses that mechanic separately and does not say talismans can be upgraded or identify talisman stats that can be improved. On the available official information, talisman upgrades are unconfirmed; enchantment upgrades should not be taken as proof that talismans share the same system.

What is confirmed about the game’s gear?
The September 29, 2026 launch announcement says Minecraft Dungeons II is available on Steam, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. It lists weapons, armor, enchants, talismans, and artifacts among the gear players discover during the journey. That announcement establishes talismans as part of the game’s equipment, but does not add effect values, rarity details, or upgrade instructions.
