MediaTek’s official product page covers the standard chip, while M-specific details come from device-launch coverage and third-party listings. The published 9500M scores are provisional—not a reliable basis for ranking phones.
What is the Dimensity 9500M?
Launch coverage links the Dimensity 9500M to the iQOO Neo 11 Ultra. Before the phone’s August 18, 2026 China launch, GSMArena reported that iQOO described the chip as a custom version developed for the device. iQOO community material uses the name “Neo 11 Extreme Edition,” while Notebookcheck calls the launched phone the “Neo 11 Ultra.” Those names reflect different source materials; check the model and market when comparing listings. GSMArena and Notebookcheck report the device association.

MediaTek’s official specification page documents the Dimensity 9500, not a separate 9500M specification table. As a result, the standard chip’s published features should not automatically be treated as confirmed 9500M specifications. MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 product page is the primary reference for the standard model.

What third parties report for the 9500M
Launch coverage describes the 9500M as an all-big-core design made on a 3 nm process. Notebookcheck reports that it has one fewer GPU core than the standard 9500. NanoReview lists the 9500M with one C1-Ultra core at 4.21 GHz, three C1-Premium cores at 3.5 GHz, four C1-Pro cores at 2.7 GHz, and a Mali-G1 Ultra MP11 GPU; its comparison identifies the standard 9500 GPU as MP12. These are secondary-source reports rather than specifications confirmed in a MediaTek 9500M product table. Notebookcheck · NanoReview’s Dimensity 9500M page
The phone’s reported configuration is a separate question from the chip’s capabilities. iQOO community material for the Neo 11 Extreme Edition describes a 6.83-inch 2K 144 Hz display, 9,100 mAh battery, 100 W wired charging, vapor-chamber cooling and IP68/IP69 protection. Notebookcheck reports the Neo 11 Ultra with up to 16 GB LPDDR5X and 512 GB UFS 4.1 storage, a 9,100 mAh battery and 100 W wired charging. Dimensity 9500M benchmark scores and reliability
| Benchmark evidence | Reported result | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| AnTuTu 11, Dimensity 9500M | 3,579,952 total: CPU 983,039; GPU 1,327,484; memory 460,333; UX 809,096 | NanoReview’s comparison page says the 9500M figure is based on fewer than three samples. Provisional, not an established average. |
| Geekbench 6, Dimensity 9500M | 3,633 single-core; 11,035 multi-core; 23,753 GPU compute | Third-party aggregate figures; the comparison page does not show a sample count for these scores. Treat cautiously. |
| Recent NanoReview user results for 9500M | No results shown | The absence of recent submissions sits alongside the aggregate figures and limits confidence in their provenance. |
| Geekbench Android chart, standard Dimensity 9500 | vivo X300 Pro listed at 2,130 on the displayed chart | This is a Geekbench 7 chart using user submissions and requiring at least five unique results per device. It is not a 9500M result and should not be directly compared with the Geekbench 6 figures above. |
NanoReview lists the 9500M scores but also indicates a very small AnTuTu sample and shows no recent user submissions for the chip. InnoReviews’ indexed benchmark page says it has no independently verified public results. Together, those limitations mean the scores are best treated as early, third-party listings—not lab-tested results or a dependable measure of typical performance. Scores also depend on the phone, software, cooling, power limits, benchmark version and sample set. The available sources do not establish a controlled, independently documented 9500M test suite that can support a firm performance ranking. Geekbench’s Android chart describes its own submission methodology; its Geekbench 7 result for a standard 9500 phone is not interchangeable with Geekbench 6 M-variant scores. What to check before comparing phones
- Chip identity: Confirm whether a listing names the Dimensity 9500 or 9500M. The official MediaTek specification page cited here describes the standard 9500.
- Configuration: Treat reported M-specific clock speeds and GPU core count as third-party details, not a substitute for an official M-variant specification sheet.
- Benchmark method: Compare only like-for-like benchmark versions and account for sample size. Do not set Geekbench 6 results beside Geekbench 7 chart scores as if they came from the same test.
- Real-world behavior: Look for sustained gaming and thermal results from the exact phone. Cooling, software and power limits influence performance beyond the chipset name.
- Phone and region: Verify battery, charging, display, storage, protections and availability against the exact regional model rather than assuming every launch detail applies to every variant.
