Westinghouse specifies overall dimensions of 590 mm wide × 520 mm deep × 51 mm high, with a required cutout measuring 560 mm wide × 490 mm deep. What do the controls and Hob2Hood do?
- Pause: Westinghouse says active zones drop to their lowest setting until cooking is resumed.
- Timer: The manufacturer says heat switches off when the set cooking time ends.
- Residual-heat indicator and child safety lock: Both are listed on the product page.

What should you check before installation?
The fact sheet specifies a 6.5 kW connected load and a hardwired connection. Before replacing a cooktop, have the actual opening, electrical supply and installation requirements checked against the appliance instructions and applicable local requirements.
