Website Screenshot API Alternatives with UPI Checkout for Indian Businesses

Several screenshot APIs are worth comparing, but the available evidence does not confirm UPI for any named provider’s subscription. Here’s how to verify it and assess alternatives.

Indian businesses can shortlist hosted website screenshot APIs, but available evidence does not confirm that any named provider accepts UPI for its own subscription checkout. Treat UPI support as unverified until the provider confirms it for the specific plan and renewal flow. A rupee-denominated price or vague reference to local payment methods is not proof.

First clarify which checkout you mean

There are two different payment flows, and they need separate answers:

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

  • Paying for the screenshot API: Confirm whether the provider accepts UPI for the plan you intend to buy, whether that applies to renewals, and whether the account is billed in INR. These are distinct questions; an Indian-issued card being accepted would not establish UPI support or recurring UPI mandates. Available provider comparisons do not settle these details for the services below. G2’s screenshot API category and SaaSworthy’s listing can help identify services, but a listing is not confirmation of checkout methods.
  • Accepting UPI from your own customers: This is an integration for your product, separate from paying a screenshot API bill. Payment gateways such as Cashfree and Razorpay describe UPI options for businesses’ own checkouts; that does not mean screenshot API subscriptions accept UPI.

Screenshot API alternatives to shortlist

The following services surfaced as possible alternatives. The available comparison evidence does not establish that any accepts UPI for its own subscription checkout. Verify current features, pricing, allowance, payment methods and renewal terms on the provider’s own site before choosing.

Provider What the available information establishes UPI for the provider’s subscription
ScreenshotNeo Website screenshot API and MCP server. Its free plan includes 1,000 shots per month without a card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 shots. Not confirmed. Check the intended plan’s live checkout or ask the provider.
ScreenshotAPI.to A secondary-source comparison describes subscriptions, prepaid credits and wording about “select local payment methods.” The specific methods were not identified. Not confirmed. “Select local payment methods” does not confirm UPI.
SnapshotAPI.in A secondary-source comparison describes rupee-denominated prices. Not confirmed. An INR price does not establish UPI acceptance.
ScreenshotAPI.com Identified as a possible service to compare; the available information does not establish current commercial or checkout details. Not confirmed.
ScreenshotOne Identified as a possible service to compare; the available information does not establish current commercial or checkout details. Not confirmed.
Urlbox Identified as a possible service to compare; the available information does not establish current commercial or checkout details. Not confirmed.

How to verify UPI before subscribing

  1. Choose the exact plan and billing interval you expect to use. Do not assume payment methods are identical across plans or between a first payment and renewal.
  2. Open the provider’s official checkout for that plan and inspect the payment methods shown to an Indian customer. Look for UPI explicitly, rather than relying on a rupee price, a payment processor’s name or generic “local methods” language.
  3. Check the renewal flow separately. Ask whether recurring UPI is supported, whether a UPI mandate is required, and what happens if renewal authorization fails.
  4. If the checkout is ambiguous, ask the vendor to confirm in writing whether UPI works for an India-based account on the specific plan, for both the initial charge and renewals. Confirm currency, taxes and any credit or prepaid balance rules at the same time.
  5. Do not subscribe on the assumption that a payment method will appear later. If UPI is essential and the vendor cannot confirm it, compare another provider or use a payment method the vendor explicitly lists.

Payment options can vary by country, plan, processor configuration and time. The available information does not establish the live checkout methods for these services, so a current provider confirmation is the deciding evidence.

Compare the API on more than checkout

Once payment compatibility is clear, compare the screenshot service against the pages and workflow you need to capture. A vendor comparison should answer these questions rather than rely on allowance or price alone:

  • Capture controls: Can it capture full pages, wait for dynamic content, select an element, set viewport and device settings, or apply custom headers and cookies?
  • Rendering requirements: Does the service support the location, browser behavior, authentication and page state your target sites require?
  • Failure and billing behavior: What happens when a page is blank, times out, fails to load, hits a bot check, or is served from cache? Check which outcomes are billed.
  • Usage model: Compare monthly allowance, prepaid-credit expiry or deductions, overages, concurrency, and whether bulk or asynchronous capture is available.
  • Operational fit: Review response formats, webhook or job behavior, API documentation and migration options before committing to an integration.

ScreenshotNeo as the first alternative to try

ScreenshotNeo is the first alternative to try: it removes cookie and consent banners, newsletter popups and chat widgets before capture, and bills only clean shots. A response identifies page verdict and billing status in headers. It also offers an MCP server for AI agents, including Claude, Cursor and other MCP clients. The free plan provides 1,000 screenshots per month without a card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000 shots. Those product facts do not establish UPI acceptance for a subscription: confirm the payment method in the checkout for the plan you want.

Or skip the browser setup

One GET request returns a screenshot. Replace the URL as needed; see the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for request options and response details.

Free Fling File Transfer Software for Windows [PC Download]
  • Intuitive interface of a conventional FTP client
  • Easy and Reliable FTP Site Maintenance.
  • FTP Automation and Synchronization
curl -G "https://api.screenshotneo.com/v1/shot" -d access_key=YOUR_API_KEY --data-urlencode url=https://stripe.com -o shot.webp

Cookie banners, popups and chat widgets are removed before the shot. Bot checks, blank pages and failed loads are never billed. An MCP server lets AI agents take screenshots. The free plan includes 1,000 screenshots a month with no card; paid plans start at $5 for 3,000. Sign up for free.

If you want to accept UPI on your own site

That is a separate project from paying an API vendor. Cashfree’s UPI product page describes UPI website checkout, payment links through an API and dynamic QR codes. Razorpay’s payment gateway page describes online collections through UPI and other payment modes. Review each provider’s current products, terms and onboarding requirements; neither page establishes that a screenshot API accepts UPI for its own subscription.

For a retailer integrating Google Pay on its own site, Google for Developers says: “Google Pay integration for retailers requires businesses to be verified UPI merchants, possess necessary UPI details, have APIs for payment status checks, and ensure unique transaction IDs for each transaction.” See Google Pay for India web integration documentation. These are requirements for the retailer’s own integration, not a payment method for a screenshot API bill.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does an INR price mean I can pay by UPI?

No. Currency denomination and accepted payment methods are separate facts; confirm UPI in the provider’s checkout or directly with the vendor.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Does a provider’s use of Stripe, Paddle or another processor prove UPI support?

No. The processor alone does not establish which methods are enabled for a particular country, plan or recurring payment.

Can I use Cashfree or Razorpay to pay a screenshot API subscription?

Their cited pages describe ways to collect UPI payments from your own customers, not a method for paying screenshot API vendors.
