If you mainly save links, Raindrop.io Free has generous stated limits; if you need full-text search and archived copies, its Pro features may matter more. Evernote includes Web Clipper on Free, but its plan comparison caps the account at 50 notes. Notion is built around sending pages into a workspace. The right choice depends on what you need to keep and do with each clip—not just whether the browser extension costs anything.
What “free web clipper” means
There are two separate questions: whether you can use the clipping tool without paying, and how much you can store or do with what you save. A free clipper might allow unlimited bookmarks but charge for searchable page contents or preserved copies. Another may include the clipper but limit notes, devices, or account capacity.

For a practical comparison, decide whether you want to save links, preserve page content, search inside saved pages, or turn clippings into notes and tasks. Those workflows have different limits.

Is Raindrop.io Free enough?
For collecting and organizing links, Raindrop.io Free is the clearest fit among these options when you want many bookmarks across devices: its pricing page lists unlimited bookmarks, collections, highlights, and devices. It also lists 100 MB of file uploads per month. Raindrop.io states that the free tier can be used indefinitely.
The key distinction is that unlimited bookmarks do not mean every Pro capability is included. Raindrop.io places full-text search, archival copies of saved pages, reminders, annotations, daily backups, duplicate and broken-link finders, and AI features in Pro. The provider describes full-text search across saved pages and files, and the archive as copies of saved pages. If you need to find a phrase inside saved material or retain a copy in case a source page changes or disappears, evaluate those paid features rather than bookmark count alone.

- Intel Celeron N4120: 4 Cores & Threads, 1.1GHz Base Clock, Up to 2.6GHz Boost Clock, 4MB Cache, Intel UHD Graphics 600. The perfect combination of performance, power consumption, and value helps your device handle multitasking smoothly and reliably with four processing cores to divide up the work.
Does Evernote Free include Web Clipper?
Yes. Evernote’s plan comparison includes Web Clipper on Free. The extension can capture full-page articles, images, selected text, important emails, and web pages, according to its Web Clipper Quick Start Guide.
However, access to the clipper and room to maintain a large clipping archive are different things. Evernote’s Free comparison lists a maximum of 50 notes, one notebook, one connected device, 1 GB of monthly uploads, and a 1 GB maximum note size. The 50-note limit is a note cap, not a separately stated clip count; it can constrain a clipping workflow when clips are stored as notes. If you expect to keep more than that, check the current paid-plan comparison before relying on Free as a long-term archive.

When Notion or OneNote makes more sense
Choose Notion for a workspace workflow
Notion’s clipper saves a page into a selected workspace destination. Notion describes adding notes, tags, sharing, or tasks to that workflow, while its help page says saved clips can be read or edited later. That makes it worth considering when a clipping should become part of a project or shared workspace rather than sit only in a bookmark collection. The cited clipper material does not establish a clip-specific storage allowance, so verify current workspace plan limits separately.
Consider OneNote as another free option
Microsoft Support says OneNote Web Clipper is free and works with most modern browsers. The cited support page does not provide comparable storage, device, or clipping limits, so investigate the current OneNote terms if those limits determine your choice.

How to choose based on your clipping workflow
- Mostly saving URLs: Raindrop.io Free lists unlimited bookmarks, collections, and devices, with a 100 MB monthly file-upload allowance.
- Searching the contents of saved pages: Raindrop.io identifies full-text search as a Pro feature. Confirm the current plan and price on its official page.
- Keeping copies if pages change or disappear: Raindrop.io Pro lists a web archive for saved pages; decide whether that preservation is worth paying for.
- Clipping into a notes archive: Evernote includes Web Clipper, but its Free tier’s 50-note cap may be the binding limit.
- Turning saved pages into project material: Notion’s workspace destination, with options described for notes, tags, sharing, or tasks, may suit that process.
- Using an existing OneNote setup: OneNote Web Clipper is described by Microsoft as free; confirm any account constraints relevant to your use.
Check regional prices and renewal terms before paying
The official material cited here establishes selected features and free-plan limits, but it does not support a consistent current monthly-versus-annual price comparison across these services and locations. Prices, taxes, billing periods, and renewal terms can depend on geography and the offer shown at checkout. Use each provider’s official plan page for the price that applies to your account rather than relying on an assumed universal figure: Raindrop.io pricing, Evernote plan comparison, and Notion’s current plan information.
