Warframe is a cooperative third-person sci-fi action shooter. The outside camera lets you see your character while moving and fighting, while the shooter label reflects its ranged weapons. Apple’s App Store listing and Steam’s Warframe page describe squad or cooperative play.
That combination is why “third-person shooter” is more precise than “FPS”: it identifies both the shooter-style combat and the camera perspective without suggesting a first-person view.
Can you play Warframe in first person?
The official descriptions reviewed identify Warframe as third-person and do not substantiate a first-person mode. The supported classification is therefore third-person; claims that the game offers a first-person mode are not established by these sources.
