WardogsBuild’s Early Access guide recommends unlocking the AK-74 30-round magazine at Infantry level 3, then moving to the Galil when its magazine unlocks at Infantry level 10. Its sample Galil kit is a useful starting point—not a tested or official best-in-slot build—and unlocks or balance may change between patches.
How to build your Assault loadout early
WardogsBuild’s Assault Class Guide, updated September 22, 2026, says rifle, pistol, and grenade kills contribute to the Infantry progression track. Start with a rifle you already have, then work toward the early magazine upgrade rather than waiting for a later weapon.
- Use an available rifle. The guide presents the AK-74 as an early rifle option.
- Prioritize recoil control. It recommends addressing vertical recoil with a grip before spending on an optic. This is a community recommendation, not a measured comparison of attachment performance.
- Work toward the AK-74 magazine. The guide lists the AK-74 30 RND mag at Infantry level 3.
- Keep earning Infantry progress. Rifle, pistol, and grenade kills count toward that track, according to the same guide.
The level-3 unlock is a community-reported Early Access value, not a guarantee for every current build of the game. Check the in-game progression menu before planning around it.
When to move from the AK-74 to the Galil
The same guide lists a Galil magazine unlock at Infantry level 10 and treats the Galil as a later progression option. That gives you a practical milestone: use an available rifle while leveling, then try the Galil once its magazine is available and see whether it suits your play. The source does not provide controlled weapon comparisons, so it does not establish that the Galil is universally stronger or better at a particular distance.

Loadouts in WARDOGS combine the weapon, attachments, armor, and gear purchased for a life, as described in WardogsBuild’s Best Loadouts & Builds guide. A separate Roles & Progression guide describes six progression tracks and says gear is not restricted to the selected class; overall level and class XP affect unlocks. Treat the Assault route as a progression focus, not as proof that every item in a suggested kit is exclusive to Assault.

- Whether the AK-74 magazine and Galil magazine still unlock at Infantry levels 3 and 10.
- Whether each listed attachment, grenade, and armor item is available and compatible with the intended weapon or loadout.
- Whether current descriptions or balance changes affect recoil, weapon handling, or gear value.
A Reddit thread titled “What loadouts are you guys running?” reflects the sort of player interest in builds and leveling, but community discussion is anecdotal and should not be treated as evidence that a particular setup is strongest.
