Yes—War Robots supports cross-play and shared progress across iOS, Android distribution channels, the official APK, and the MY.GAMES Launcher once you link your profile to a MY.GAMES account. Steam is the exception: a profile created on Steam can be used on the other supported platforms, but a profile created elsewhere cannot be transferred into Steam. Console transfers are not supported.

What multiplayer can a beginner play in War Robots?
War Robots is presented on Steam as a free-to-play PvP multiplayer shooter. Its store description invites players to “Battle together in multiplayer,” join or create a clan, and enter special modes including Arena and Free-for-All. Those are the modes explicitly named in the listing; the live game can add, remove, or rotate modes through updates, so do not treat that list as a permanent catalog.

Team battles are the natural starting point if you want coordinated play. Your decisions affect allied players, so learning beacon routes, staying near teammates, and choosing a role that complements the group matters more than simply chasing individual eliminations. The official description confirms multiplayer team play but does not define a fixed match format or a permanent map rotation.

Clans
You can join an existing clan or start one. Clan participation is tied to your account progress: clan contributions are among the items that normally transfer when you move the same profile between supported platforms. A platform change therefore does not wipe your existing clan involvement, although a platform-specific task or offer may not appear everywhere.
Arena
Arena is one of the named special modes in the Steam listing. Treat it as an additional ruleset rather than assuming it is always available; event schedules and mode availability can change with updates.
Free-for-All
Free-for-All is also named by the store listing. It is the option for players who prefer individual performance over coordinated team objectives. The listing does not promise a permanent schedule, scoring formula, or reward structure, so check the in-game event information when it is offered.
Which platforms share cross-play and progress?
After your profile is linked through server authorization, the same account can be used across the mobile stores, the official Android package, and the MY.GAMES PC launcher. The table separates full support from Steam’s one-way rule.

The publisher’s cross-platform announcement is dated November 19, 2025. Because platform policies can change with game updates, verify the current in-game Authentication screen and platform support information if you are making a move much later.
How to link War Robots to a MY.GAMES account
Linking creates the server-authorized identity that acts as the bridge between supported platforms. Complete this on the device that currently contains your progress before installing or signing in on the new device.
- Open the settings menu. Launch War Robots and go to General Settings, then open Authentication.
- Start server authorization. Press SAVE PROGRESS beside Save progress (using server authorization).
- Sign in or register. Use an existing MY.GAMES account, or create one when prompted. Use an account whose credentials you can retrieve later; the login is what you will need on the second platform.
- Check the confirmation. A green LINKED! label and the status Server authorization linked confirm that the profile is attached.
- Keep the account details secure. Do not assume that installing the game on another device alone will find the profile. The second device must use the same server-authorized MY.GAMES account.
The official workflow normally needs to be completed once. If your game was originally created on the MY.GAMES platform, it is already linked automatically, so you can proceed to the sign-in step on the other device.

How to load the linked profile on a phone or PC
Install War Robots on the second supported platform, start it, and use the account-switching controls rather than beginning a new local profile.

- Open the game on the new platform.
- Choose SWITCH ACCOUNT.
- Select SERVER AUTHORIZATION.
- Sign in with the same MY.GAMES account that showed the green LINKED! status on the original device.
- Wait for the server profile to load, then verify a familiar nickname, hangar, clan status, or other progress before playing.
If the new installation opens a fresh tutorial profile, stop before spending resources or making purchases. Return to SWITCH ACCOUNT and select server authorization; continuing on the wrong local profile can make it harder to tell which account is active.
Can you play the same War Robots account on two platforms at once?
No. The same account cannot be played simultaneously on two platforms. You may remain signed in on the original platform after loading the profile elsewhere, but the game permits only one active session. The first device to load the progress keeps access; the other device displays an error indicating that the account is already running on another platform.
What to do after the simultaneous-session error
- Close the game completely on the device that currently has the active session.
- Allow a short moment for the server session to clear, then relaunch on the device you want to use.
- If the message persists, confirm that the game is not still open in the background on a phone, PC launcher, or Steam client.
- Do not create a second profile to work around the message; that will not make the original account playable on two devices.
What progress transfers, and what stays platform-specific?
Most account progress is server-based and follows the linked profile. The support rules specifically identify Tasks, Operations, Battle Crates, clan contributions, and League standing as transferable items. Some content is tied to the platform where it was issued.

This distinction explains why two devices can show the same hangar and League standing while displaying different promotions or news panels. It is a content-availability difference, not necessarily lost progress.

Steam: the one-way account limitation
Steam is not a general import destination. The supported direction is:
- Steam-created profile → other supported platforms: permitted after using the account’s linked server authorization.
- Profile created on iOS, Android, the official APK, or MY.GAMES Launcher → Steam: not transferable.
For a new player who wants Steam access, create the War Robots profile through Steam from the outset. If you already invested in a mobile or MY.GAMES Launcher profile, use that profile on the other supported channels instead of expecting it to appear in Steam. Transfers to consoles are unsupported as well.
Steam PC requirements
The official Steam listing specifies Windows 10 as the minimum operating system and provides separate minimum and recommended hardware requirements. Check your Windows PC against those requirements before troubleshooting account or performance problems. Meeting the operating-system minimum does not guarantee that every graphics setting or frame rate will be ideal; hardware, drivers, and background applications still affect play.
Android progress saving and account recovery
On Android, War Robots support identifies two ways to save progress: Google Play Games or a MY.GAMES ID. Recovery works only when you sign in to the same service account that was previously linked to the profile.
If the profile is still visible on your Android device
- Open General Settings and then Authentication.
- Use SAVE PROGRESS for server authorization and complete the MY.GAMES sign-in, or confirm that the intended Google Play Games account is active.
- Check for the green LINKED! confirmation before changing devices or reinstalling.
If the profile disappeared after reinstalling or changing phones
- Sign in to the Google Play Games account or MY.GAMES account that was linked previously.
- Open War Robots and use SWITCH ACCOUNT if the game starts a new profile.
- Select the matching authorization method and allow the server profile to load.
- If the account still cannot be found, contact MY.GAMES support through the War Robots account-issues page.
Support may ask for evidence that identifies the account, such as the approximate creation location and date, purchase confirmations, devices used, and previous nicknames. Provide consistent details; those clues help distinguish your original profile from a newly created one.
Troubleshooting checklist
The “LINKED!” label never appears
- Return to General Settings > Authentication and press SAVE PROGRESS again.
- Confirm that the sign-in completed inside War Robots, not merely in a browser or store account.
- Check that you are using the MY.GAMES account you intend to keep using on every platform.
The second device shows a new account
- Do not continue the tutorial or spend currency on the new profile.
- Choose SWITCH ACCOUNT > SERVER AUTHORIZATION.
- Sign in with the exact MY.GAMES credentials that produced the green linked status on the original device.
The game says the account is active elsewhere
- Close War Robots on every other phone, launcher, or PC.
- Remember that being logged in is different from being allowed to play simultaneously; only one active session is supported.
- Relaunch after the first session has ended.
You want to move a mobile profile to Steam
There is no supported transfer path for that direction. Keep using the mobile or MY.GAMES-supported platforms for the existing profile. A Steam profile can travel outward, but an account created elsewhere cannot travel into Steam.
Choosing a setup as a beginner

The safest habit is simple: link the account before changing devices, verify the green confirmation, and use server authorization whenever you switch platforms. That preserves the progress the service can share while making the platform-specific limits—especially Steam’s one-way rule and the single-session restriction—clear before they cause a surprise.
