On published specifications, the vivo V60e leads on rear main-camera resolution, front camera resolution and charging speed (90W against 45W). The TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G lists the higher display refresh rate (144Hz) and a different, higher-tier MediaTek chipset. Both phones list a 6500mAh battery. The price gap cannot be stated as one settled figure for India: vivo’s own store and its October 2025 launch announcement show different prices, and the only TECNO price found is from a third-party snapshot rather than an official TECNO listing.
Specifications side by side
The table below uses each manufacturer’s published figures. Where a figure comes from a secondary source, the cell says so.

Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →Cameras: more pixels on the vivo, but pixels are not photo quality
The vivo V60e lists a 200MP OIS main camera and a 50MP autofocus front camera, against the POVA 8 Pro 5G’s 50MP OIS main and 13MP front. Those are the clearest spec differences between the two phones. A higher pixel count does not by itself produce better photographs. Sensor size, pixel binning, lens quality and image processing all shape the result, and none of those were tested side by side in the sources available for this comparison. Treat the camera gap as a specification difference only until you see sample images from both phones under the same lighting.

Display: the TECNO has the higher refresh rate and resolution
TECNO lists a 144Hz refresh rate and a 2644 × 1208 resolution. The vivo figures come from a 91mobiles comparison: 2392 × 1080 at 120Hz. A higher refresh rate makes scrolling and animation smoother, but it does not guarantee more brightness, better colour accuracy or lower power use. Those depend on panel tuning and the software, so judge the screens in person if display quality matters to you.
Battery and charging
Both manufacturers list a 6500mAh battery, so the stated capacity is the same. The difference is charging: 90W on the vivo V60e against 45W on the TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G. Faster charging shortens the time to a full charge when you use a compatible charger, but it does not show how long the battery will last between charges. Runtime and charging times in real use were not measured in the sources available for this comparison.

Processors and performance

These are different chips, but the names alone do not show which is faster in games or everyday tasks. No benchmark results comparing the two phones were established for this article, so do not read a performance ranking into the model names.
Software and update commitments
The vivo listing names Funtouch OS 15, and TECNO’s specification page names HiOS 16 on Android 16. Update promises vary by region and change over time, and neither page in this comparison states a complete update schedule. If long-term software support matters to your purchase, check the current update policy for your country on the manufacturer’s site before you buy.

India price: why there is no single difference
The prices below come from different sources and dates. They are not a like-for-like comparison, and they should not be combined into one figure.
| Source | Date or status | Variant | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| vivo India store, V60e listing | Current listing seen in 2026 | 8GB+128GB | ₹34,999 |
| vivo India store, V60e listing | Current listing seen in 2026 | 12GB+256GB | ₹38,999 (the same price was shown for the 12GB+256GB Elite Purple selection) |
| vivo Newsroom India launch announcement | Launch pricing, October 2025 | 8GB+128GB / 8GB+256GB / 12GB+256GB | ₹29,999 / ₹31,999 / ₹33,999 |
| 91mobiles comparison snapshot | Snapshot; date and variant not stated | Not stated | V60e ₹26,494; POVA 8 Pro 5G ₹49,999 |
| TECNO India official price | Not established | Not stated | Not stated |
The vivo store prices are higher than the October 2025 launch prices for comparable configurations, so the launch figures are out of date for buying decisions. The 91mobiles V60e price is well below vivo’s own store price, which suggests it reflects a different variant, retailer or date. The only TECNO price is a snapshot, and that snapshot cannot be matched to a specific variant or retailer. Taking the vivo store’s 12GB+256GB price and the snapshot’s POVA price at face value would give a gap of ₹11,000, but that pairs two different sources, so treat the figure as an illustration rather than a comparison.

How to check the price for your own purchase
- Open the vivo India store listing at shop.vivo.com/in/product/10326 and select the exact RAM and storage variant you want. Note the price shown for that variant.
- Open the TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G specification page at tecno-mobile.com to confirm the storage option you plan to buy, then check the price at the retailer where you intend to purchase, since TECNO’s official India price was not established.
- Compare only matching configurations. An 8GB+128GB vivo against a 256GB or 512GB TECNO is not a like-for-like price comparison.
- Record the date and retailer for each price. Launch prices, sale prices and list prices are different figures.
- Check whether a displayed price includes bank or exchange offers, which are separate from the base price and may apply only to certain cards or trade-ins.
Decision guide
- Choose the vivo V60e if higher charging speed (90W) and the 200MP main camera matter most, and the price for your chosen variant is competitive on the day you buy.
- Choose the TECNO POVA 8 Pro 5G if a 144Hz display, the Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset, or a 512GB storage option matters more, and TECNO’s price at your retailer is within your budget.
- Do not decide on price alone until you have matched RAM, storage and retailer on both sides.
- Test the cameras and screens in person or with sample images before buying if photo quality or display quality is the deciding factor.
The specifications support a clear preference for one phone on camera resolution and charging, and for the other on display refresh rate and processor tier. They do not show which phone takes better photos, plays games more smoothly or lasts longer in daily use, and the price difference depends on the day, variant and seller you choose.
