That is a ₹13,000 gap at matching storage. For that lower price, the T4 Pro offers a dedicated 50 MP 3× periscope telephoto camera, the later of the two named Snapdragon chips, and a larger typical battery. The V50 counters with a 50 MP ultra-wide camera, a 50 MP front camera, and a 512GB storage option. These are differences on the manufacturer’s specification sheets. Neither phone was tested side by side for this comparison, so this is not a verdict on which one takes better photos or lasts longer in daily use.
Specifications side by side
The figures below come from vivo India’s specification pages for the vivo V50 and the vivo T4 Pro. They describe the India-market versions of both phones.

- Prices and stock change. Confirm the exact variant and price on the store before you buy.
- The T4 Pro store listing says its box includes a phone case and a protective film already applied, so a case is not a mandatory extra purchase.
Camera hardware: ultra-wide versus 3× telephoto
The two phones take different routes to a wider or longer view. Megapixel counts alone do not show which one produces better images.
vivo V50
The V50 pairs its 50 MP main camera with a 50 MP ultra-wide camera. The ultra-wide lens has a 119.4° field of view, which fits wide landscapes, interiors and group shots taken close up. The main camera has optical image stabilisation (OIS). The listing does not describe a dedicated telephoto lens.

vivo T4 Pro
The T4 Pro uses a 50 MP main camera with OIS, a 50 MP OIS 3× periscope telephoto camera, and a 2 MP bokeh camera. The telephoto lens is the main difference on this phone. It gives a longer optical zoom, which suits portraits and distant subjects. The specification page does not list an ultra-wide lens.
Front camera
The V50’s front camera is listed at 50 MP with autofocus, and the T4 Pro’s is listed at 32 MP. The higher resolution on the V50 is a specification difference, not proof of better selfies.

Processor, battery and charging
The T4 Pro’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 is the later generation of the two. Both phones list Snapdragon 7-series chips, but neither vivo page includes a benchmark or speed comparison, so the generation gap should not be read as a measured performance gap.
The T4 Pro lists a typical battery capacity of 6500 mAh. The V50 lists 6000 mAh. vivo also gives a rated figure of 6330 mAh for the T4 Pro in a note on its specification page. Capacity is not a measure of how long a phone lasts. Real battery life depends on screen use, network conditions and settings, and neither page provides an endurance test. Both phones are listed for 90 W charging. Charging speed in practice has not been tested here.

Durability, warranty and updates
Both phones are listed with IP68 and IP69 ratings. The T4 Pro page says its ratings come from testing under controlled laboratory conditions under IEC 60529. vivo also says that protection is not permanent and that liquid-ingress damage is not covered by warranty. Those conditions are stated for the T4 Pro. Check the V50’s warranty terms before assuming the same exclusion applies.
On software, both phones ship with Android 15 and Funtouch OS 15. The T4 Pro store listing promises four years of Android OS updates and six years of security updates. vivo’s V50 specification page does not state a comparable update period, so the two phones cannot be compared on this point.
