Spoiler warning: This guide reveals campaign puzzle solutions and secret achievement triggers. The full route below follows Fruits’s Steam Community walkthrough, a fan guide based on the author’s playthrough; it is not an official walkthrough, and its author notes that some puzzles may have more than one solution.
How to use this VirtuaVerse guide
VirtuaVerse is a single-player cyberpunk point-and-click adventure by Theta Division, published by Blood Music and released on May 12, 2020. Steam describes it as “a challenging old school cyberpunk point & click adventure” involving technomancers, AVR graffiti writers, hacker groups, cryptoshamans, digital archaeology, cyberwars, and virtual reality. The game’s central routine is to inspect scenes, collect objects, talk through dialogue, and try useful inventory combinations.

For a nudge without a full reveal, the Steam community hub also points players to a spoiler-free, incremental hints guide. The options differ mainly in how much they disclose: hints preserve more of the puzzle-solving experience, while a full walkthrough is faster when you need a specific action or sequence. Where to start when you are stuck
- At each new location, examine every visible hotspot and collect objects that might be useful later.
- Talk to every character and select all available dialogue options. In Fruits’s walkthrough, “Talk with” means exhausting the conversation options.
- Return to machines, people, and locations after finding new items. A puzzle can remain blocked until you have the right object or information.
- Try plausible inventory combinations, but do not assume a single route is the only valid one: the walkthrough author says some puzzles may have alternatives.
The hints below identify the goal or next useful discovery first. The details after each reveal disclose the route from Fruits’s guide.

Opening apartment: how to leave Nathan’s apartment
Hint
Search both floors, inspect the arcade machines, and check the balcony and bed drawer. Several items you find are used to expose or enter the keypad code.
Spoiler reveal: apartment route
- Collect the Hoverboard, Noodles, and Meds. Speak with the Strange Gizmo, then examine the upstairs mirror and arcade machines.
- Use the Coin Returner to collect coins. The right arcade cabinet provides a screwdriver and the Ultra Glove of Power. Attempt to take the nearby hardware; when a jumper drops, pick it up. Take the broom as well.
- Use the screwdriver on the right Coin Returner to get the PlaySafe card.
- At the balcony, use the broom on Jay’s poster to reveal the keypad code.
- Open the bed drawer using its buttons, then use the screwdriver to hold it open. Take the credit card from the jacket.
- Return to the keypad and leave by bike.

Spoiler reveal: Pill Street route
- Talk through the available dialogue with the Merchant and Smuggler, then try the terminal with the credit card.
- Visit the backstreet bouncer and note the address on the sign.
- Order a pizza to Nathan’s home address and collect it. Order another to the bouncer’s address, Chestnut Street 1. This diversion removes the bouncer and opens access to the shop.
- Talk to the Shopkeeper. The headset needs a battery and new lenses. Collect the Old Mobile Phone, Holographic Statue, and Screwdriver Kit from the “New New” shelves.
Optional achievement: Karma Boost
Fruits’s guide reports that giving a pizza pie to the Beggar triggers “Karma Boost.” Do this while the opportunity is available if you want the secret achievement.

The computer needs a monitor and cable before the floppy disk can be used. After the cutscene, speak to the characters again; new dialogue advances the sequence.

Spoiler reveal: Blade HQ route
- Speak with Jay, Ramirez, and both gang members to obtain a floppy disk.
- Use the ladder to reach the monitor on the closet. Search the cable box until you find the correct monitor cable.
- Connect the monitor and cable, insert the floppy disk, and watch the cutscene.
- Speak with the characters again to receive the closet key. Open the closet and take the dial-up modem for the computer.
Midgame: find the source code and solve the technomancer riddles
Hint
Check the Hut’s monitor for the source-code location. For the riddle trial, convert each clue into a number, then use an ASCII table to map that number to a symbol. The keyboard sequence comes from visual symbols in the earlier Blade HQ floppy-disk video.
Spoiler reveal: route and guide examples
- Inspect the monitor in the Hut to pinpoint the source-code location.
- Retrieve the Game Box near the crashed plane and return to Blade HQ.
- For each technomancer riddle, work out the arithmetic result and use the ASCII table to identify its corresponding symbol. Fruits’s guide gives “Mostly there’s men” as 32 and an Ursa Major reference as 7.
- Use the visual symbols shown in the Blade HQ floppy-disk video to determine the subsequent keyboard sequence.
The arithmetic examples and sequence interpretation here are attributed to Fruits’s guide; this is not a claim that every puzzle has only one solution.

Sea map: reach the underwater missile base
Hint
The base is in the lower-left area of the sea map. The octopus guarding the Missile Command Center needs bait made from crab, shrimp, and fish; consult the in-game fishing book and work through the fishing and bait steps.

Spoiler reveal: fishing and bait setup
- Find the fishing location. Its position is randomized, according to Fruits’s walkthrough.
- Catch a fish and fish eggs. Put the eggs in a bottle.
- Use the eggs to lure a crab. Collect the lead wire and hook near the whale carcass.
- Use the crab, shrimp, and fish as the bait ingredients indicated by the in-game fishing book. Follow the later combination steps in Fruits’s walkthrough to complete the missile-base sequence.

Space station: complete the late-game sequence
Hint
Use the AVR Drawing Tool to reveal concealed objects and room details. The sequence depends on finding the heart, identifying the astronaut, changing the Lab control setting, and preparing a syringe before proceeding with the GPU.

- Use the AVR Drawing Tool to reveal concealed objects, including a heart, and expose hidden room details.
- Obtain the soldering helping hand. Use it on the museum image to identify the astronaut’s name.
- Change the control panel’s Lab setting to Open.
- Use anesthetic to remove the brain chip.
- Prepare a drug syringe from the liquid and the three greenhouse ingredients.
- Use the syringe on the heart.
- Install the Ancient GPU on a motherboard, then set the control panel to H307/Secondary GPU.
How to unlock VirtuaVerse’s secret achievements
Fruits’s 2020 Steam Community walkthrough reports 33 achievements in total: 29 are earned by following the story, with these four listed as secret achievements. The triggers below are attributed to that fan guide.
