Does it need a drain hose?

When the internal tray is full
- Switch the air conditioner off and unplug it.
- Place a vessel of at least one litre under the water outlet.
- Remove the plug and allow the water to drain into the vessel.
Follow the manual’s drainage instructions and take care to contain the water before removing the outlet plug.

The appliance has two mesh intake filters. Clean them weekly while the unit is in use, or more often if needed. Vacuum or brush them, or wash them in lukewarm soapy water; let them dry completely in the shade before reinstalling. Do not put the filters in a dishwasher. What safety and warranty details should buyers check?
The manual identifies the refrigerant as R290, a class 3 flammable refrigerant. Refrigerant handling must be performed by a fully qualified and licensed refrigeration mechanic; the manual also requires professional removal before disposal. Do not attempt refrigerant service yourself.
The manual states a 12-month warranty against defects, subject to its conditions. It does not establish whether that period or those terms are the current policy for every seller or jurisdiction. Confirm applicable warranty terms with the seller or manufacturer before relying on them.
