Recommended Uncharted play order
- Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune
- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
- Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception
- Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
- Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
This is the main-story play order: it follows Nathan Drake’s numbered adventures before moving to Chloe Frazer’s standalone lead story. It gives the clearest view of how the returning characters and their relationships develop; it is not a complete chronology of every spin-off or other piece of franchise media.

How the stories connect
There is an evolving storyline and returning characters, but the games are designed to work individually. PlayStation says each game has a unique, standalone narrative and that players do not need to finish the entire series to enjoy Legacy of Thieves Collection. Starting with Uncharted 4 or The Lost Legacy is therefore possible, though playing earlier entries first gives more character context.
Why play The Lost Legacy after Uncharted 4?
The Lost Legacy shifts the lead from Nathan Drake to Chloe Frazer, joined by Nadine Ross. Chloe first appeared in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Its different lead makes it a natural next game after Nathan’s main arc, while its standalone story means it does not require a full series playthrough.
