How does it handle sound and volume?
There are no independent listening measurements or test results available here for loudness, sound balance, bass extension, or distortion at high volume. So there is no verified answer to how loud it gets in practice, or how well it maintains sound quality when turned up. Ultimate Ears makes a promotional comparison claiming the HYPERBOOM delivers three times the loudness and over six times the bass of the MEGABOOM 3; that should not be treated as a neutral measurement without independent substantiation.
How long does the HYPERBOOM battery last?
Ultimate Ears advertises “All day 24 hour battery life” on its product page. This is a manufacturer claim, not an independently tested runtime. Actual play time under particular volume levels, EQ settings, or usage conditions has not been established, so treat 24 hours as a stated target rather than a guaranteed result.

That mix is useful when a gathering uses phones as well as wired sources, though the available information does not establish the switching behavior in independent testing.
The manufacturer also lists one-touch music controls and playlist access, with operating-system distinctions: Spotify and Amazon Music on Android; Amazon Music and Apple Music on iOS. Availability of particular services or controls may vary by device and region.

Can you connect two HYPERBOOM speakers?
Yes. Ultimate Ears describes app-based wireless linking with other HYPERBOOM speakers and compatible BOOM and MEGABOOM models. The BOOM app page says PartyUp supports BOOM, MEGABOOM, and HYPERBOOM families; WONDERBOOM, BLAST, and MEGABLAST are listed as incompatible. It is therefore not safe to assume every Ultimate Ears speaker can join the same group.
Is the HYPERBOOM waterproof?
No: Ultimate Ears states an IPX4 splash-resistance rating and advises wiping away splashes. That is a limited splash claim, not evidence that the speaker can be submerged or is waterproof. The rating has not been independently tested here.

Those are a volatile US purchase-page snapshot, not a promise of current terms or availability elsewhere. Check the product page before buying.
The HYPERBOOM makes the most sense to consider if you want a large party speaker, expect to use several kinds of audio sources, or plan to group compatible BOOM-family speakers. The available evidence does not establish its real-world loudness, sound quality at high volume, battery endurance, charging behavior, carrying comfort, or sustained performance. Those unanswered points matter if you need dependable runtime or performance for a particular space, so avoid treating manufacturer descriptions as substitutes for independent tests.
