If Titanium Court will not launch, closes during “Preparing to Launch,” crashes after the menu, or loses a save, work through the least destructive fixes in order: restart Steam and the computer, update the operating system and graphics driver, verify the Steam installation, then investigate antivirus and other background software. Back up saves and logs before deleting files or reinstalling. Players moving from the demo to the full game should synchronize the demo save with Steam Cloud before starting the full version.
Identify exactly where Titanium Court fails
The symptom determines which branch is safest. Record the operating system, whether you are on a desktop or Steam Deck, the game build number, whether the demo was installed previously, and any exact error text. This information prevents a save problem from being mistaken for a launch problem.

1. Restart Steam, the computer and pending updates
Fully restart before changing files
Exit Titanium Court, quit Steam rather than leaving only the window open, and restart the computer. A fresh Steam session clears a stuck launch process and ensures that a pending client update is not competing with the game.

Install available Windows, Linux or macOS updates. On systems with a discrete or integrated GPU, install the current graphics driver supplied for that hardware. Steam’s launch guidance treats current system software, current drivers where applicable and compliance with the game’s system requirements as the first checks for games that close immediately.

After updating, restart once more and test Titanium Court before changing compatibility settings or deleting anything. If the game still fails, note whether the symptom changed; that result belongs in any later support report.
2. Verify Titanium Court’s Steam files
Use Steam’s built-in verification
- Open Steam and select Library.
- Right-click Titanium Court and choose Properties.
- Open Installed Files (the wording can vary slightly by Steam client version).
- Select Verify integrity of game files and wait for Steam to finish.
- Launch the game again without making other changes first.
Steam explains that launch failures can follow corruption in extracted files or a failed download. Verification replaces files Steam identifies as damaged or incomplete, so it is a safer next step than uninstalling the game. It can also resolve a missing-executable message when the executable was lost through an incomplete download.
If Steam reports a missing executable
Do not download a replacement executable from an unofficial site. Steam identifies two common explanations: antivirus software may have blocked or quarantined the file, or the download itself may be incomplete or corrupted. Check security history before verifying again; otherwise a security product can remove the restored file immediately.
3. Check antivirus and other background conflicts
Review quarantine and detection history
Open the security product’s quarantine or detection history and look for a Titanium Court or Steam file. If the file is clearly a false positive, restore it only through that product’s normal controls. Add an exclusion only when you understand that it reduces scanning protection for the excluded file or folder, and only after confirming the file came from Steam.

Security products differ, so do not copy exclusion paths or restoration instructions from an unrelated product. If the same file is detected again, leave it quarantined and report the detection rather than repeatedly restoring it.
Temporarily remove non-essential interference
Steam’s broader client guidance recommends testing without non-essential software. Close or disable one category at a time, then retest:
- third-party antivirus or firewall components beyond the system’s baseline protection;
- screen-recording and overlay software;
- performance boosters, hardware monitors and fan-control utilities;
- system cleaners, proxy tools and other traffic or monitoring software.
Change only one variable per test. If Titanium Court launches after a particular tool is closed, restore the tool and test its game-specific exclusion or overlay setting rather than permanently disabling security. Record the tool name and version for support.
4. Confirm hardware and configuration basics
Check the store-page requirements
Compare your computer with Titanium Court’s current Steam store-page requirements for the operating system, processor, graphics hardware, memory and available storage. The published troubleshooting evidence does not establish specific CPU, GPU, RAM or storage figures, so do not rely on numbers copied from another game or an unofficial system checker.

Remove overclocking while diagnosing
Return CPU, GPU and memory settings to the manufacturer’s defaults for testing. Steam notes that overclocking can contribute to memory errors or file corruption. If the crash disappears at stock settings, treat the overclock as the cause to investigate rather than changing game files.
Consider drive and memory errors
Steam’s client guidance also covers drive and memory errors. If verification repeatedly finds damaged files, or other applications are crashing, check the health of the drive containing the Steam library and test system memory using the diagnostic tools supplied by your operating system or hardware vendor. Preserve the game’s saves before running repairs that could affect the drive.
5. Protect saves and logs before deleting or reinstalling
Deleting a save folder is not a first-line launch fix. Copy the relevant folder to a separate location before experimenting with deletion, migration or a reinstall. Keep the backup unchanged so it can be returned if a test makes the situation worse.

Copy the complete save directory, not just one file whose name looks recent. When contacting support, include the log generated by the failed launch and explain whether the game was running when the log was copied.

When reinstalling becomes reasonable
Consider a reinstall only after restarting, updating, verifying files and checking security software. Confirm that the save backup is readable first. Reinstalling replaces the installation; it does not automatically repair a save that is damaged, unsynchronized or incompatible.

Fellow Traveller has reported a known issue in which a save is not synchronized between the demo and the full game. If you played the demo, launch the demo while online, allow Steam Cloud synchronization to complete, and exit normally. Confirm that Steam has finished syncing before launching the full version. Starting the full game before the demo save is synchronized can leave the expected progress unavailable.
If the save still does not appear, stop deleting folders. Preserve the Windows or macOS save directory and the log, note which edition created the save, and include that sequence in a bug report.
7. Steam Deck, suspension and controller-related crashes
Reports in the developer’s pinned bug thread include Steam Deck cases, but community reports do not establish a universal cause. Treat suspension, tabbing out, reconnecting a controller or changing input devices as reproduction clues.
- Write down the exact sequence, such as “launch, suspend for two minutes, resume, reconnect controller, crash.”
- Repeat it once without changing unrelated settings, if doing so will not risk the save.
- Capture a short video when the failure is visible and attach the relevant log.
- State whether the same build works after a normal launch without suspension or controller changes.
This information lets the developer distinguish a general launch failure from a device-state transition that happens only on Steam Deck or after an input disconnect.
8. Report the problem to Fellow Traveller with usable evidence
The developer’s pinned bug-report thread asks players to provide the build number, what happened, the expected behavior, and screenshots or video when useful. A complete report should also include:
- operating system and hardware, or confirmation that the device is a Steam Deck;
- whether the demo was installed previously;
- the exact error text and the point at which the game closes or freezes;
- numbered steps that reproduce the problem;
- whether restarting, updating and file verification changed the result;
- whether closing a particular antivirus, overlay or monitoring tool changed the result;
- a copy of the relevant save file and log when support requests them.
Describe expected behavior separately from observed behavior. For example, say that the game should open the main menu, then state whether Steam closed immediately, showed “Preparing to Launch,” displayed a menu before crashing, or failed to load a particular save. The developer has said it is monitoring the community for reports and will work to resolve reported issues; precise reproduction details make that process more effective.

The available Titanium Court troubleshooting information confirms Steam support and Windows/macOS file locations, but it does not confirm a PlayStation or Xbox release. Do not assume that a generic console article applies to this title.
If you have verified that you are using an officially supported PlayStation version, PlayStation’s general launch guidance includes restarting the console, installing system-software updates, restoring licenses, reinstalling the game, moving it from USB extended storage to internal storage where applicable, and rebuilding the database in Safe Mode. These are platform-level procedures, not Titanium Court-specific fixes. Back up any available saves and follow PlayStation’s on-screen warnings before using storage or Safe Mode operations.
