How to unlock the alternate characters
A guide published by Gameplay.tips on May 19, 2025, reports that the two alternate heroes become available after you complete optional missions in the graveyard. After the relevant mission, the corresponding hero is said to appear in town; talk to that character to select them. The guide excerpt does not name the missions, so check your current quest screen rather than relying on guessed mission names if your game presents different steps.

- Complete the relevant mission.
- Return to town and speak to the hero who appears there to select that character.

Which characters are currently described as playable?
The official game descriptions name three classes: the Mighty Knight, Fierce Huntress, and Mischievous Mage. They describe switching among those classes and using skills, Slorm Reapers, and items already unlocked. The official feature pages do not establish a strongest class, so choose based on the combat style and customization you want to explore.

The announced Whimsical Witch
The Whimsical Witch is a planned fourth class, not part of the reported graveyard unlock route. In a developer update dated August 6, 2026, Slormite Studios described the Witch as planned DLC with a free accompanying update and targeted a Q4 2026 release. The studio said the DLC would not be included in the Deluxe Edition and was expected to become available for consoles later. These were plans, not a confirmed release date; check the developer’s Steam announcements for current availability.

Experiment with class skills and specializations
Each class has active abilities with skill trees, and the game describes specializations as part of class development. Try different active skills and tree choices as you unlock them. The official descriptions say previously unlocked skills can be switched between classes, making experimentation part of the intended progression.
Match a Slorm Reaper to your approach
Slormite Studios describes Slorm Reapers as weapons that can be leveled and evolved. Consider the effects of the Reaper you have alongside your chosen active abilities instead of judging a weapon in isolation.

Use Ancestral skills and gear as complementary layers
Ancestral abilities and passives add another build dimension, including element-related choices. Gear can be upgraded or reforged with collected materials, and affixes give you further attributes to weigh. Compare how these systems fit together with your class skills and weapon; the official descriptions do not identify one universally best combination.
Keep loot and loadouts manageable
The Steam description advertises loadouts and loot filters. Use those organizational tools to keep preferred configurations accessible and make loot easier to sort as your collection grows.
