Spoilers throughout. This guide gives verified steps for the train prologue and opening Lighthouse puzzles, then explains the game’s chapter and ending structure so you can find the right walkthrough section. The available chapter references identify later puzzles but do not establish their full step-by-step solutions; those sections are linked below rather than guessed.
How The Room Three is structured
The Room Three is a puzzle adventure by Fireproof Games set on a remote island. The Craftsman directs you through trials in several locations, with a mansion serving as a hub between chapters. Fireproof describes the eyepiece as a way to explore the world in miniature and says you can return to the mansion between areas; solving hub puzzles affects which alternate ending you see. The chapter walkthroughs organize the game into a prologue, Lighthouse, Clock Tower, Forge, Observatory, Projector, and endings. The ending labels are Imprisoned, Release, Escape, and Lost. The initial Projector route leads to Imprisoned; the three alternate endings are Release, Escape, and Lost. AppUnwrapper’s walkthrough and Just Adventure’s PC guide
Train prologue: get the eyepiece and pyramid
- Inspect the diary on the table and read its pages.
- When the figure leaves the box, take the small key. The box has no visible keyhole yet.
- Open the suitcase by sliding both catches aside. Inspect the mechanism inside its lid and take the eyepiece.
- Look at the box through the eyepiece. Slide the revealed pieces into a square to expose the keyhole.
- Use the small key in the exposed keyhole and take the symbol pyramid.
The important sequence is to acquire the eyepiece before trying to open the box: it reveals the sliding-square mechanism that is otherwise hidden. AppUnwrapper’s walkthrough

Lighthouse opening: solve the three cylinders
- Inspect the window in the next door and slide its bolt to glimpse the adjoining room.
- Examine the triangular cabinet and read the Craftsman’s letter.
- Put on the eyepiece to reveal three riddles above hollow cylinders. Rotate each cylinder until it displays the answer.
- Set the answers to nothing, a clock, and a quill or feather with an inkwell.
- Take the letter and ornate box revealed by the cabinet. Open the box and collect the lens; it joins the eyepiece.
- Use the eyepiece at the door’s keyhole. Manipulate the lock until its central glow appears, then proceed through the door.
Walkthroughs transcribe the riddles with slightly different wording, so use the answers and the cylinder interaction rather than relying on exact punctuation. The first two are described as “THE POOR HAVE ME THE RICH NEED ME” and “MY FACE IS SILENT WITHOUT MY HANDS”; the third refers to flight and a well of knowledge. Clock Tower, Forge, Observatory and Projector
The chapter guides divide the remaining route into Clock Tower, Forge, Observatory, and Projector sections. Those locations are part of the walkthrough structure, but the available verified directions here do not establish each later puzzle’s complete sequence. For a specific later object or mechanism, open the relevant chapter section in AppUnwrapper’s chapter-organized guide; its walkthrough also links chapter videos, which can help identify a visual interaction. Avoid applying a combination or item-use step from another chapter: the references are organized by location and puzzle.

Mansion hub and choosing an ending
Return to the mansion between the major locations and look for its hub puzzles. Fireproof confirms those puzzles influence the alternate ending. The four named outcomes in the walkthrough archive are Imprisoned, Release, Escape, and Lost; AppUnwrapper distinguishes the initial Projector/Imprisoned route from the alternate Release, Escape, and Lost routes. The sources available here confirm that hub choices affect the ending, but do not provide enough verified individual hub steps to prescribe a particular sequence. Fireproof Games; AppUnwrapper
Controls and finding the right kind of help
Just Adventure’s guide describes mouse controls for its PC walkthrough: hold the left mouse button to turn the camera, double-click to zoom in, and right-click to zoom out. It also describes an always-open inventory, an eyepiece for hidden marks and views inside objects, automatic saves, and chapter restarts. These are that guide’s PC-specific descriptions, not a guarantee that controls or save behavior are identical on every platform. Just Adventure’s PC guide
