- Close other running apps. Reopen The Operator and see whether the problem persists.
- Restart your device. A restart is a reversible step that can clear temporary issues.
- Check available storage. Make sure the device has free space.
- Check OS compatibility. Apple’s US listing specifies iOS 15.0 or later for iPhone and iPadOS 15.0 or later for iPad. Store requirements may change; check the current listing for your device and region.
If it still crashes, note your device model, operating-system version, the exact error, when the crash happens, and what you did immediately beforehand. Send those details to the support address listed on Google Play. The listing does not specify a required support form or response time.
Resolve a login problem carefully
The official listings do not say whether the mobile game requires a separate account, uses a platform identity, or supports account linking. Confirm you have opened the correct installed app and record the exact error message. Then contact Bureau 81 at the support email shown on its Google Play listing: [email protected].
Do not create or switch accounts, or unlink an account, as a recovery experiment. The available title-specific information does not establish that these actions will help.
What to do if progress appears missing
Do not assume Google Play Games has saved your progress. Google says only some games autosave, and it does not manage game accounts or in-app data. The Operator’s official listing does not confirm that its mobile version supports Google Play Games or any other cloud-save service.

If you believe you previously used Google Play Games, Google’s guidance is to check whether the game uses the service and verify that you are using the account you used before. Before deleting or reinstalling the game, contact Bureau 81 or confirm a title-specific backup method. The Google Play listing gives [email protected] as the support email. A concise message can include:
- Your device model and iOS or Android version.
- The app version, if visible.
- The exact error wording and whether the issue happens every time.
- When the crash or login problem occurs, or the last point where progress was visible.
- Steps you already tried.
These details can help explain the issue; the listing does not identify them as a mandatory checklist or promise a response time.
