The iQOO 16 launched in China on September 29, 2026. It may reach India or other markets, but there is no official international launch announcement in the available reporting. The clues are a benchmark firmware string that one outlet interprets as a possible global build and an anonymous-source report of an India launch—neither confirms a release, date, or price.
Is the iQOO 16 coming to India?
Possibly, according to Notebookcheck’s October 6, 2026 report. The outlet says an anonymous source told it an India launch is planned, but it provides no launch date or price. That is reporting, not a public commitment from vivo or iQOO.

Notebookcheck also points to a Geekbench entry for vivo model I2607 with firmware string PD2606DF_EX_A. The outlet reads the “EX” tag as suggestive of an international build. A benchmark listing and interpretation of a firmware string are clues, not confirmation of where or when a phone will be sold.
Has iQOO confirmed a global launch?
No. Android Central’s September 30, 2026 launch coverage said iQOO had not announced a global launch plan. The iQOO global product catalog inspected lists the iQOO 15, iQOO 13 and iQOO 12, but not the iQOO 16. A missing catalog listing is not proof that an international release will not happen; it simply does not establish one.

What should buyers do while international details are unclear?
If considering an import, treat it as the China-market phone unless the seller can document otherwise. Before paying, check the exact model, network-band compatibility with your carrier, software and region differences, warranty coverage in your country, import costs, and the seller’s legitimacy. The sources do not establish an official international version or a verified retail listing.
