The most useful Ryobi fishing kit is built around five jobs: keeping food and bait cold, charging small electronics, inflating and packing watercraft, lighting low-light work areas, and carrying a lighter load. That points to the RYOBI 18V ONE+ 24Q Hybrid Power Cooler (Pi1824QBT), 18V ONE+ 200W Power Source/Charger (PCLBG06B or PCLBG06K), 18V ONE+ Dual Function Digital Inflator/Deflator (PCL031B or PCL031K1), USB Lithium Magnetic Clamp Light (FVL57B), and LINK 17-inch Soft Sided Cooler (STM604). The fishing benefits below are practical uses inferred from each product’s design; Ryobi’s catalog does not provide fishing-condition runtime, cooling-duration or comparative test results.
The five-product kit at a glance
These products do not form one mandatory bundle. They cover different points in a fishing day, so choose according to whether you fish from shore, launch an inflatable kayak, drive to a remote lake or spend a night at a campsite. The 18V ONE+ tools can share compatible Ryobi 18V batteries, while the FVL57B belongs to Ryobi’s USB Lithium line. The coolers do not require the same purchase decision: one is a powered 24-quart model and the other is a simple soft-sided carrier.

A cooler solves the most universal fishing-day problem: keeping drinks, lunch and temperature-sensitive supplies together while you are away from a kitchen. Ryobi’s official Recreation collection lists the 18V ONE+ 24Q Hybrid Power Cooler Pi1824QBT. Its 24-quart capacity is the reason to make it the primary cooler in this five-product setup: it is sized for a full day’s provisions rather than just a drink or two.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
How it fits a fishing routine
- Load sealed food and drinks in the main cold-storage area before leaving home.
- Use separate, leakproof containers for bait so odors and contamination do not spread to food.
- Place the cooler where it can be reached without blocking a kayak cockpit, casting position or vehicle access.
- Keep the lid closed between accesses. A powered cooler is still affected by ambient heat and repeated opening.
The word “hybrid” indicates that the model is designed around more than one power arrangement, but the catalog information available here does not establish its exact outlet options, cooling temperature, runtime or time-to-temperature. Check the current product page and manual for those details before treating it as a substitute for a conventional ice chest on a remote trip. Ryobi has not published an independent fishing-condition cooling-duration test for this model.
Who should choose it
Choose the Pi1824QBT when cold storage is a priority and you already use the 18V ONE+ platform. It is especially logical for anglers who drive to a launch, fish all day and want to avoid carrying a second bag of ice. If your trip is a short shore session and you only need a few cans, the STM604 soft cooler below takes less space and avoids battery planning.
2. PCLBG06B or PCLBG06K 200W Power Source/Charger: keep the small essentials alive
The 18V ONE+ 200W Power Source/Charger addresses the equipment that quietly ends a trip early: a dead phone, flat GPS, empty camera battery or unlit headlamp. Ryobi lists both the tool-only PCLBG06B and the kit version PCLBG06K in its Recreation collection. The tool-only PCLBG06B was listed at $109.00 on October 20, 2026.

What to power
At a launch site, vehicle or campsite, use it for a phone, GPS, camera, headlamp or another small USB-powered accessory that fits within the unit’s 200W designation. Ryobi describes its portable-power range as a way to keep “phones, speakers, and other essentials ready” outdoors. That is a general recreation use, not a promise of a particular fishing runtime or number of device charges.
The battery decision
PCLBG06B is explicitly tool-only, so budget for a compatible 18V ONE+ battery and a way to recharge that battery. PCLBG06K is the kit listing, but the exact battery and charger contents should be verified on the live retailer or manufacturer page. A larger-capacity battery may extend operation, but no runtime table is supplied here; do not plan a multi-day trip around an assumed number of phone charges.
The 200W label is a limit to respect, not a guarantee that every appliance will work. Avoid using it for a kettle, heater, refrigerator or other high-draw equipment unless the current manual specifically permits that load. For fishing, its value is maintaining communications and navigation rather than replacing a campsite inverter.

3. PCL031B or PCL031K1 Dual Function Digital Inflator/Deflator: prepare watercraft and pack it down
The 18V ONE+ Dual Function Digital Inflator/Deflator is the preparation tool for anglers who bring an inflatable kayak, paddleboard or towable, and it can also top up a vehicle tire before the drive home. Ryobi lists the tool-only PCL031B at $69.97 and also lists the kit configuration PCL031K1.
Why dual function matters
Inflation is only half the launch problem. Deflation makes an inflatable boat or board compact enough to fit back into its bag without wrestling trapped air out by hand. A digital interface can help you target the pressure recommended by the watercraft or tire manufacturer, but the available catalog information does not state the inflator’s pressure range, accuracy, runtime or included adapters.
- Inspect the boat, board or tire for damage before connecting the tool.
- Match the supplied or approved adapter to the valve; a loose fit wastes battery and gives a misleading reading.
- Set the pressure specified by the equipment manufacturer, not a guess based on how firm the material feels.
- Check seams, valve areas and the tread or sidewall after inflation.
- For pack-down, open the correct valve and use the deflation function only as directed in the manual.
Because PCL031B is tool-only, it needs a charged 18V ONE+ battery. The kit version may change what is included, so confirm the box contents. Carry a manual pump or the vehicle’s normal tire equipment as a backup when a puncture, adapter mismatch or depleted battery would otherwise leave you stranded.

- Please Note: To reach 10Gbps speed, keep the cable under 3.3 ft. For USB A Male to USB C adapters, try flipping the USB C connector. USB C Male to USB A adapters support bidirectional 10Gbps transfer within 3.3 ft
4. FVL57B USB Lithium Magnetic Clamp Light: make low-light tasks safer
The RYOBI USB Lithium Magnetic Clamp Light FVL57B is the smallest recommendation, but it solves a problem that appears after sunset: both hands are needed while the work area is dark. The magnetic and clamp format can be positioned on a metal rail, vehicle surface, bench or other suitable nearby point while you tie a knot, sort tackle, inspect a compartment or walk around a dock.
Practical placement
- Clamp it near, rather than inside, a tackle tray so hooks cannot snag the light or its cable.
- Use a magnetic surface on the vehicle or a metal dock fitting only when the attachment is secure.
- Angle the beam toward your hands and away from other anglers’ eyes.
- Keep it out of direct spray and dry it before storage.
FVL57B is part of Ryobi’s USB Lithium family, not the 18V ONE+ battery system used by the cooler, power source and inflator. The cited listing does not establish whether a battery, charging cable or both are included, nor does it state lumens or runtime. Verify those details before assuming it is ready for a night session. Its compact form is the advantage; it is supplemental task lighting, not a replacement for navigation lights required by your boat or local rules.

5. STM604 LINK 17-inch Soft Sided Cooler: carry a lighter secondary load
The RYOBI LINK 17-inch Soft Sided Cooler STM604 is the straightforward companion to the powered Pi1824QBT. Ryobi’s Recreation collection lists it at $59.97 on October 20, 2026. It needs no battery, outlet or charging plan, so it works well for a bank-fishing walk, a short morning trip or a second bag that stays with food while the larger cooler is used for other supplies.
Best Value
- 5-in-1 Connectivity: Equipped with a 4K HDMI port, a 5 Gbps USB-C data port, two 5 Gbps USB-A ports, and a USB C 100W PD-IN port. Note: The USB C 100W PD-IN port supports only charging and does not support data transfer devices such as headphones or speakers.
- Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.
- Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. Note: The USB C 5Gbps Data port does not support video output.
- HD Display: Connect to the HDMI port to stream or mirror content to an external monitor in resolutions of up to 4K@30Hz. Note: The USB-C ports do not support video output.
- What You Get: Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1), welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.
Best uses
- Carry drinks and snacks when the main powered cooler is reserved for a larger group.
- Keep bait in a separate, washable container rather than mixing it with food.
- Use it as the grab-and-go cooler for an angler walking from a car park to the shoreline.
- Fill it with ice packs for a short session when powered cooling would add unnecessary weight.
The soft-sided format is easier to carry and store than a rigid powered cooler, but it offers less structure and no active cooling. Ryobi’s listing does not include an independent insulation-duration test, so do not assume a particular number of hours at a given outdoor temperature. Treat it as simple insulated storage and pack it according to the length and heat of your trip.
Match the kit to the kind of fishing trip
| Trip type | Prioritize | Why | Leave out or reconsider |
|---|---|---|---|
| Short shore session | STM604 and FVL57B | Light food storage and hands-free light cover the basics without carrying a battery-powered cooler | Pi1824QBT and PCL031 tools may add bulk you do not need |
| Inflatable kayak or paddleboard launch | PCL031B/PCL031K1, Pi1824QBT and FVL57B | Inflation and deflation are part of every launch, while cold storage and task lighting address the day on the water | Do not rely on an unverified battery runtime or omit a manual backup |
| Remote drive and full-day group outing | Pi1824QBT, PCLBG06B/PCLBG06K and STM604 | Primary cold storage, backup food or bait separation, and power for communications and navigation | Check vehicle space and total battery weight before adding every item |
| Overnight campsite | Pi1824QBT, PCLBG06B/PCLBG06K, FVL57B and STM604 | Cold storage, device charging, low-light work and a separate light carrier are all useful after dark | Do not assume the 200W source can run high-draw appliances |
A practical packing and setup sequence
- Inventory the platforms. Mark which 18V ONE+ batteries are charged, which accessories belong to the USB Lithium light and which items are tool-only purchases.
- Pre-cool and portion. Chill drinks and food before loading the Pi1824QBT or STM604. Put bait in a separate sealed container and label it.
- Test the power chain at home. Connect the PCLBG06B or PCLBG06K to a battery and confirm that each phone, GPS, camera or headlamp accepts the intended connection.
- Dry-run the watercraft setup. Fit the PCL031 adapter to the kayak, board or tire valve and locate the deflation valve before arriving at the launch.
- Pack lighting where it is reachable. Put the FVL57B in the top pocket, not under tackle boxes, and carry a conventional navigation light when regulations require one.
- Protect batteries and electronics. Use waterproof pouches, keep contacts dry and do not leave batteries baking in a closed vehicle.
- Recheck before departure. Confirm lids, valves, cables, spare adapters and the correct battery are present; a tool without its power source is not a working tool.
Buying checks and common failure points
Tool-only pricing can hide the real cost
The $109.00 PCLBG06B and $69.97 PCL031B prices apply to the tool-only listings observed on October 20, 2026. If you do not already own an 18V ONE+ battery and charger, add those costs before comparing the tools with corded or manual alternatives. The PCLBG06K and PCL031K1 kit listings may include different components, so read the current contents rather than inferring them from the model suffix.
Do not mix battery families
18V ONE+ batteries are not the same platform as the USB Lithium system. The Pi1824QBT, PCLBG06B/PCLBG06K and PCL031B/PCL031K1 are identified as 18V ONE+ products; FVL57B is identified as USB Lithium. Confirm compatibility on the current packaging before packing a battery that cannot fit.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsPlan for water, heat and failures
None of these catalog entries establishes waterproofing, saltwater resistance, runtime under fishing loads or cooling duration in a hot vehicle. Use dry bags, shade and ventilation where appropriate, keep electrical connections away from splash, and bring manual or non-powered fallbacks for inflation, lighting and navigation. The practical fishing applications are sensible uses of the product forms, not independent performance claims.
Verify availability on the day you buy
Ryobi’s Recreation collection currently lists the five product families, but availability, promotions, regional packaging and prices can change. Check the live manufacturer or retailer page for battery inclusion, adapters, charging cables, outlet compatibility and the latest manuals before committing to a trip plan.
Ryobi describes its recreation range as helping users “power up your adventures and be ready for anything,” and says that it aims to provide “the energy and comfort to make the most of it.” For a fishing trip, the useful interpretation is practical rather than promotional: select only the products that solve your specific cold-storage, power, inflation, lighting or carrying problem, then pack the batteries and backups those choices require.
