To download a game on a Tesla, put the vehicle in Park, open Arcade or Entertainment on the touchscreen, select an available game, and follow any download prompt. The menu and game catalog depend on the vehicle, market, configuration, and software version. For instructions matched to your car, open the Owner’s Manual on the touchscreen at Controls > Service > Owner’s Manual.
Download a game from Tesla Arcade
- Park the vehicle. Tesla describes Arcade games as an entertainment feature to use while parked.
- Open the touchscreen app launcher. Choose Arcade, or open Entertainment and select its Arcade tab if that is how your vehicle presents the menu.
- Choose a game in the available catalog. If the touchscreen offers a download action, select it and let the vehicle finish downloading before you start the game. The exact button wording and available games can vary.
- Start the game and use its supported controls. Depending on the game, you may be able to play with steering-wheel buttons or a compatible controller.
Tesla’s Model 3 Owner’s Manual describes Arcade as the place to access games; some Tesla manuals use Entertainment for the wider menu. See the Model 3 Owner’s Manual and the Model S Owner’s Manual for examples; your own touchscreen manual is the better guide for your car.

Reinstall a game you removed
If you uninstalled a game to free onboard storage, find it again in Arcade and download it before playing. Tesla’s Model S Owner’s Manual states: “Once you uninstall a game, you must download it before you can play the game again.”
Check availability, downloads, and updates
Tesla says entertainment options can vary by market region, manufacturing date, vehicle configuration, and software version. A missing game or menu does not necessarily mean that every Tesla has the same catalog or interface. Open the Owner’s Manual from Controls > Service > Owner’s Manual to see instructions reflecting your vehicle’s features, configuration, market, and software version.

If an expected interface or feature is missing, check for software updates and notifications under Controls > Software. Tesla distributes software updates over the air; the vehicle must remain connected to Wi-Fi while an update downloads. This is general vehicle update guidance, not a guarantee that every game downloads or updates in the same way. Tesla’s software updates support page explains the update process.
The available material does not establish a universal Wi-Fi requirement specifically for downloading every Arcade game. Follow the prompt shown in your vehicle and consult its touchscreen manual if a download does not proceed.

Use a controller only when the game supports it
A controller is optional: Tesla says Bluetooth Classic and USB controllers work with select games. Before choosing one, check that the game supports controllers, confirm the connection type and compatibility for your vehicle, and consult the manual for USB port locations. Port placement can vary by vehicle and build date.
Older Model S and Model X vehicles
Owners of Model S and Model X vehicles built in March 2018 or earlier may be eligible for Tesla’s Infotainment Upgrade, which Tesla says includes an expanded Arcade and gamepad compatibility. Keep gaming to parked sessions
Use entertainment features, including Arcade games, only while the vehicle is parked. The touchscreen’s available menus and instructions are vehicle-specific; consult the Owner’s Manual on your screen for the guidance that applies to your car.
