The Tenebris Somnia Wiki estimates roughly 40 distinct collectibles across the game; it labels that figure as an estimate, and patches could alter the total.

- Walk the entire chapter. Re-enter every accessible room, including bedrooms, bathrooms, corridors and side areas.
- Interact with highlighted objects. Do not assume an object is decorative because it has already been examined once.
- Finish counted interactions. The opening door and apartment-picture actions require specific numbers of examinations.
- Confirm inventory items. Compare your inventory with the chapter lists below before using the transition.
- Create a manual save when possible. The save is a practical safeguard inferred from the reported chapter-lock risk; it is not a guarantee that every route can be restored.

Picking up the Old Book is not enough. Read every page before the ending. If a page can be turned or inspected separately, continue until the book presents no unread pages. Because the requirement is cumulative, do not wait until the final area to discover that an earlier page was skipped.

GG Guides ties the achievement Have You Chosen… Wisely? to removing three save points so the silver bottle is filled. The requirement is a count of three removals, not simply finding three save locations. Keep a separate manual save before experimenting if your platform allows it, because changing save-point availability can affect how safely you retry an area.
Drink Lavendoleum at full health
For One More For The Road, drink Lavendoleum while at full health. Heal first, then use the item; consuming it while damaged may not satisfy the condition. The achievement name and condition come from GG Guides’ 2026 guide.

Search the third sewer junction
The fan route places the Sewer Password Note at the third sewer junction, behind a breakable wall. If you pass the junction without checking the wall, return before taking the sewer exit whenever the area remains accessible. The location is community guidance, not a developer-published map.

For a first playthrough, the completion-first approach is the least risky. A cleanup replay is sensible only when you have a pre-transition save or have confirmed that your build permits chapter revisits.
Troubleshooting missed items and achievements
The door or picture achievement did not unlock
Check the interaction count and timing: ten knocks must occur before using the keys, and five picture examinations must occur on the first Floor 2 apartment visit. If either condition was performed after entering or on a later visit, reload a pre-trigger save if available.
The silver bottle is not full
Confirm that you removed three save points, not merely visited three save locations. If the count is uncertain, use a manual save and repeat the removals in a controlled sequence.

An item is absent from its reported location
Verify that you are in the correct chapter and route state, break the reported wall where applicable, and inspect nearby highlighted objects. Patch behavior can change collectible placement or trigger logic; the fan estimate of roughly 40 collectibles is not a fixed version guarantee.
