If your Streamlabs Talk Studio renewal failed, sign in to the account that bought the plan and open Profile picture > Account Settings > Billing > Payment Method > Update Payment. Update the details and save them. If the charge still fails, check the invoice and plan status, ask your bank or payment provider for the decline reason, then contact Talk Studio support with the exact error. Public information lists PayPal and credit card but does not confirm which India-issued cards or recurring-payment arrangements will work for your account.
Update the payment method on the purchasing account
- Sign in to the account that purchased the subscription. If you use more than one email address or sign-in method, check the likely purchasing account; billing controls may not appear on a different account.
- Open the billing controls. Select your profile picture, then Account Settings, then Billing.
- Change the saved payment details. Under Payment Method, select Update Payment, enter the updated information, and save it.
- Review your invoice and plan status. The Billing page includes Invoices, where you can download an invoice and check the amount and billing cycle shown for your account. Check the displayed renewal date and plan status as well.

Why might a Talk Studio renewal fail in India?
A failed renewal can involve different parts of the payment process: the card or PayPal details saved to the account, authorization by the bank or payment provider, recurring-payment processing, or the merchant’s renewal handling. The public Talk Studio information does not identify the cause of an individual failed charge or document India-specific card acceptance and retry behavior. Do not assume an RBI rule caused the failure without checking with the issuer or Streamlabs.

What the RBI e-mandate rule does—and does not—establish
The Reserve Bank of India’s circular on processing e-mandates for recurring transactions, dated August 22, 2024, says that “the issuer shall send a pre-debit notification to the customer at least 24 hours prior to the actual charge / debit to the account.” That is relevant context for recurring transactions, but it does not show that the rule caused your Talk Studio renewal to fail, establish that Streamlabs does not comply, or mean every India-issued card will be declined. The cited public information does not specify Talk Studio’s payment processor or its India-specific renewal and retry behavior.

Check the payment route and ask for the exact decline reason
Streamlabs’ Talk Studio plans page lists PayPal and credit card as payment methods. That listing does not confirm that both options are available in every country or for every account and renewal. If you are considering PayPal, check whether it is offered in your own checkout or account; its listing alone cannot confirm that it will work for your India-based renewal.
Ask your bank or payment provider what happened to the attempted charge, including whether it was declined at authorization or affected by a recurring-payment setting. If the provider cannot identify a problem, ask Streamlabs whether the issue is on the merchant side. Neither the published plan information nor the billing guide establishes a universal retry method or India-specific workaround.

Contact Talk Studio support with useful details
If updating your details and checking with the payment provider do not resolve the failure, submit a ticket through Streamlabs’ support route or use the Talk Studio contact form or [email protected]. Include:

- The email address on the Talk Studio purchasing account.
- Your plan name and the renewal date shown in Billing.
- The exact error message and when it appeared.
- The invoice reference, if one is available.
- The payment method type, such as credit card or PayPal—never the full card number or security code.
Streamlabs’ published billing information explains where to manage plans and payment details, but it does not say how a pending failed payment affects access in every account. Check the plan status displayed in your account rather than assuming access has ended or that another charge will automatically be attempted.

Does changing or cancelling the plan fix the failed charge?
The plans page describes Standard and Pro options with monthly and annual billing; the available features and price are shown on that page and may change. The billing guide describes plan changes and cancellation under Billing. The published information does not establish that upgrading or downgrading will fix a declined renewal, so do not treat a plan change as a payment remedy unless Streamlabs confirms it for your account.
Streamlabs says paid features remain available for the period already paid after cancellation. That statement does not settle the access status of an account with a pending failed renewal. Before cancelling or changing plans, check the plan status and dates shown in Billing and ask support if you need account-specific confirmation.
