The quickest complete route is two purchases: buy FOB-45 from Hamster in Zalissya, then buy both Yastrub and Fighter from Eugene in Rostok.
You can also obtain Yastrub at the Cement Factory and Fighter in the Scorcher Technical Tunnel without paying a trader. A LootMap listing for game build 24914692 records 13 binocular markers—four FOB-45, five Yastrub, and four Fighter—but its accessible text does not enumerate every coordinate, so the exact pickups below are the locations that are currently documented rather than an invented coordinate list.

What Update 2.0 changed
Before Update 2.0, binoculars were not available as a set of usable scouting tools. GSC Game World’s free “Back to the Zone” update introduced three models, each with a different information display. The update went live on August 20, 2026, and the models can be bought from traders or found as loot in the Zone.
The models are not cosmetic variants. FOB-45 is the basic distance-checking optic; Yastrub adds digital measurement and target identification; Fighter adds faction recognition on top of Yastrub’s functions. Choosing the right acquisition route matters because trader stock is predictable, while loose world loot can vary by location and access.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Fastest route to all three binoculars
- Reach Zalissya in the Lesser Zone. Enter the Zalissya Bar beside the Technician’s house and open Hamster’s trade menu.
- Buy FOB-45 from Hamster. AllThingsHow reports a price of about 2,000 Coupons in 2026. Treat that figure as a reported price, not a guaranteed value for every future balance update.
- Travel to Rostok. Open Eugene’s inventory. Yastrub and Fighter are both listed in the same menu, so one visit completes the purchased set.
- Buy Yastrub and Fighter from Eugene. This is the shortest reliable way to obtain all three models because it avoids searching for variable loot placements.
Nerd’s Chalk summarizes the route as two stops: Hamster in the Lesser Zone for FOB-45, followed by Eugene in Rostok for the other two. The route assumes you can reach both settlements and have enough Coupons; it does not require a specific side quest beyond normal regional access.
Trader locations and stock
| Model | Trader | Exact place | Reported cost or condition |
|---|---|---|---|
| FOB-45 | Hamster | Zalissya Bar, next to the Technician’s house, Lesser Zone | About 2,000 Coupons, reported by AllThingsHow in 2026 |
| Yastrub | Eugene | Rostok trader inventory | Price not stated in the available source material |
| Fighter | Eugene | Rostok trader inventory | Price not stated in the available source material |
Hamster’s FOB-45
In Zalissya, look for the bar beside the Technician’s house rather than searching every trader stall. Hamster’s trade screen is the relevant inventory. FOB-45 is intended as the early-game model, so this is the most accessible purchase for a new run. If the optic is not visible, close and reopen the trade interface after confirming that you are speaking to Hamster, not the Technician or another bar NPC.
Eugene’s Rostok inventory
Eugene sells both higher-tier models. Because Yastrub and Fighter share the same inventory, you do not need to make separate Rostok trips. Check both entries before leaving: buying only one does not unlock the other automatically. The available reports do not establish fixed prices for either model, so do not rely on a guessed Coupon total.

Free binocular pickups
These pickups remove the purchase cost, but reaching them can take longer and may require story progress or a dangerous crossing. Carry enough supplies and make a manual save before entering hostile territory.
Yastrub: Cement Factory, Duty-held area
- From Garbage, travel northeast toward the Cement Factory.
- Enter the facility and find the winding stairwell.
- Climb to the highest point of the stairwell.
- Outside the communications-room door, inspect the equipment table.
- Pick up the Yastrub from the table; the location has no keypad code or locked container.
AllThingsHow documents this as a fixed, free Yastrub pickup. The area is held by Duty, so the tactical challenge is reaching and leaving the structure rather than solving a lock. The optic is on an exterior equipment table, not inside the communications room itself.
Fighter: Scorcher Technical Tunnel, Malachite
- Locate the Scorcher Technical Tunnel in Malachite.
- Approach the keypad-controlled entrance and interact with the panel.
- Enter the seven-digit access code 1287975.
- Proceed through the opened tunnel and search for the Fighter pickup.
The code applies to the tunnel entrance documented by AllThingsHow. If the panel rejects it, verify that you are at the Scorcher Technical Tunnel keypad and not another Malachite door; the sources identify no alternate code for this pickup.

Additional Fighter near Yaniv
AllThingsHow also reports a second Fighter at a tower near Yaniv. That tower is not necessarily reachable at the start of a playthrough: access becomes safe only after the main story permits it. If the route is blocked or the area remains lethal, continue the story rather than assuming the item has disappeared. You can use Eugene’s Rostok stock or the Scorcher tunnel Fighter in the meantime.

Nerd’s Chalk notes that all three models can appear as world loot. The publication cautions that loose-pair locations may shift, which makes an unguided sweep unreliable. Treat the three named pickups above as the documented free options and use trader inventories when you need a predictable result.
How many binocular placements are currently recorded?

| Model | Markers recorded |
|---|---|
| FOB-45 | 4 |
| Yastrub | 5 |
| Fighter | 4 |
| Total | 13 |
The listing groups repeated model names and exposes selected marker examples, but its accessible text does not publish a complete coordinate-by-coordinate list. Consequently, no responsible guide can name the remaining markers from that text alone. For a genuinely exhaustive sweep, open the interactive binocular layer on the current LootMap page and filter by model; use the build number to check that the map matches your game version.
The count is a snapshot for build 24914692, not a promise that every future patch will preserve the same marker total. A marker can also represent an item you have already looted, so map count and inventory count will not match during a completed run.

FOB-45, Yastrub, and Fighter compared
| Model | Optical display | Target information | Best use |
|---|---|---|---|
| FOB-45 | Magnification with a simple analog rangefinder | No entity brackets or names | Early-game scouting and basic distance checks |
| Yastrub | Digital rangefinder | Entity detector brackets NPCs and displays their names | Long-range planning and identifying targets before engagement |
| Fighter | Yastrub’s digital rangefinder | Entity detection plus an affiliation scanner; hostile NPC brackets turn red | Mixed-faction areas where friend-or-foe recognition matters |
What the upgrade means in practice
FOB-45 answers “how far away is that?” but leaves you to identify people visually. Yastrub adds a bracket and name, allowing you to distinguish a named NPC or a distant target before moving closer. Fighter keeps those features and adds an affiliation cue, so hostile contacts are marked red. That extra layer is useful when several factions occupy the same sightline or when neutral and hostile silhouettes look similar.
Best Value
- 5-in-1 Connectivity: Equipped with a 4K HDMI port, a 5 Gbps USB-C data port, two 5 Gbps USB-A ports, and a USB C 100W PD-IN port. Note: The USB C 100W PD-IN port supports only charging and does not support data transfer devices such as headphones or speakers.
- Powerful Pass-Through Charging: Supports up to 85W pass-through charging so you can power up your laptop while you use the hub. Note: Pass-through charging requires a charger (not included). Note: To achieve full power for iPad, we recommend using a 45W wall charger.
- Transfer Files in Seconds: Move files to and from your laptop at speeds of up to 5 Gbps via the USB-C and USB-A data ports. Note: The USB C 5Gbps Data port does not support video output.
- HD Display: Connect to the HDMI port to stream or mirror content to an external monitor in resolutions of up to 4K@30Hz. Note: The USB-C ports do not support video output.
- What You Get: Anker 332 USB-C Hub (5-in-1), welcome guide, our worry-free 18-month warranty, and friendly customer service.
Equip and activate binoculars
- Open your inventory and assign the binoculars to an available quick slot.
- Open the item wheel during play.
- Select the binocular icon.
- Confirm activation by the boxed binocular overlay on screen.
The overlay itself confirms that the item is active; the information inside it identifies the model. A view with magnification but no bracket or name indicates FOB-45. Yastrub adds entity brackets and names, while Fighter changes hostile brackets to red through its affiliation scanner. If you see only the basic view, check which optic is assigned to the quick slot rather than assuming the detector is broken.
Choosing a route based on your playthrough
You want all functionality immediately
Use the two-trader route. Hamster’s FOB-45 is available in the Lesser Zone, and Eugene’s Rostok menu consolidates both advanced models. This minimizes searching and gives you the full display progression as soon as regional travel allows.
You are short on Coupons
Take the documented free pickups first: Yastrub at Cement Factory and Fighter in the Scorcher Technical Tunnel. You still need to decide whether FOB-45’s basic analog rangefinder is worth the reported 2,000-Coupon purchase, because Yastrub already supplies a digital rangefinder and entity detection. The free route therefore provides the advanced scouting functions without requiring all three purchases.

You are following the main story
Do not force the Yaniv tower route before it is safe. Story-gated access can make a listed item appear unreachable even when the placement is correct. Use the Cement Factory or Scorcher tunnel when those areas are open, and return to Yaniv after the main story changes the zone’s access conditions.
Troubleshooting and common mistakes
- The trader does not show the binocular. Confirm the NPC and settlement: Hamster is in Zalissya’s bar, while Eugene is the Rostok trader. Reopen the trade screen and verify that you are looking at the full inventory rather than a filtered category.
- You cannot find the Cement Factory Yastrub. Start from Garbage, use the winding stairwell, and continue to its highest point. The equipment table is outside the communications-room door; searching only inside the room will miss it.
- The tunnel keypad will not open. Make sure you are at the Scorcher Technical Tunnel in Malachite and enter the documented seven-digit code exactly. A different keypad is not covered by that code.
- The Yaniv tower is inaccessible. This is consistent with the reported story-gated safety condition. Progress the main story until the route is allowed, or obtain Fighter elsewhere.
- Fighter does not mark enemies red. Check that Fighter, not FOB-45 or Yastrub, is assigned to the quick slot. Only Fighter has the affiliation scanner.
- The map shows more markers than you can locate. LootMap’s 13-marker figure is grouped by model and tied to build 24914692. Use its interactive layer for coordinates and account for items already collected.
Bottom line for a new save
Buy FOB-45 from Hamster if you want the basic optic early, then visit Eugene in Rostok to purchase Yastrub and Fighter in one transaction. If Coupons or travel time are the limiting factors, collect Yastrub at Cement Factory and Fighter in the Scorcher Technical Tunnel first. Fighter is the only binocular with affiliation scanning and red hostile brackets, while the current map snapshot lists 13 total placements but does not expose every coordinate in text.
