Published scores conflict, however, and come from different benchmark samples and phones—not one controlled, same-device comparison. Treat them as clues about the chips, not guarantees of how every phone will perform.
Specifications and platform features
Third-party specifications compiled by NanoReview identify the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 with an Adreno 710 GPU and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 with an Adreno 810. NanoReview lists both as 4 nm, eight-core platforms, but gives different CPU configurations and instruction-set generations. These are compiled specifications, not details independently confirmed across every handset implementation. See NanoReview’s specifications and comparison.

|---|---|---|---|
| NanoReview AnTuTu 11 aggregate; 10 and 97 samples, respectively | 829,894 | 975,254 | 6 Gen 4 leads in this aggregate. |
| NanoReview Geekbench 6 aggregate; 7 and 17 samples, respectively | Single-core 1,009; multi-core 2,892 | Single-core 1,087; multi-core 3,148 | 6 Gen 4 leads in both reported averages. |

| 91mobiles comparison database; AnTuTu | 889,090 | 764,410 | This total reverses the ordering seen in NanoReview and Beebom. |
NanoReview’s numbers are aggregates with unequal sample counts, not matched runs on the same phone. Beebom names the tested handsets, but a phone test reflects the complete device as well as its processor. 91mobiles reports a different AnTuTu ordering. Its comparison also presents differing CPU, GPU, memory, and UX subscores, so a total score should not be treated as a universal chip ranking. Sources: NanoReview, Beebom Gadgets, and 91mobiles.
CPU performance: close, with no universal single-core winner
NanoReview’s aggregate Geekbench 6 figures put the 6 Gen 4 ahead in both single-core and multi-core results. Beebom’s phone tests show a different split: the Moto G57 with the 6s Gen 4 scored 1,013 in single-core, ahead of 994 for the OPPO K13 5G with the 6 Gen 4; the 6 Gen 4 phone led in multi-core, scoring 3,082 against 2,876. The difference in devices and test context means neither result proves a fixed outcome for every phone.
For everyday tasks, these results do not establish a meaningful real-world speed advantage in either direction. App responsiveness also depends on the phone’s memory, software, storage, and thermal behavior, none of which a chip name captures by itself.

Graphics and gaming: the 6 Gen 4 has the stronger reported profile
The graphics comparison is more consistent across the cited results. Beebom’s 3DMark Wild Life Extreme best-loop score was 968 for its Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 test phone and 781 for its 6s Gen 4 phone. NanoReview’s aggregate benchmarks also generally favor the 6 Gen 4, and its listed GPU is Adreno 810 versus Adreno 710 for the 6s Gen 4.
That supports choosing a 6 Gen 4 phone as the safer starting point if graphics-heavy games matter most. It does not guarantee a particular frame rate or sustained performance: cooling, game settings, display resolution, and the specific handset affect the result. The cited benchmark evidence does not establish comparative battery life during gaming.

Qualcomm’s February 12, 2025 announcement says the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 offers 11% improved CPU performance, up to 29% better GPU performance, and 12% power savings versus its previous generation. The Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 product brief claims 36% improved CPU performance and a 59% faster GPU versus its previous generation. Those claims use separate previous-generation baselines; they are not a direct comparison between the 6s Gen 4 and 6 Gen 4.

Which chip should you choose?
- For graphics-heavy gaming: Start with phones using the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4; the cited graphics results favor it, while recognizing that phone cooling and implementation matter.
- For CPU-heavy tasks: The evidence does not show a decisive universal winner. Multi-core results lean toward the 6 Gen 4 in the cited comparisons, but single-core ordering varies.
- When choosing between two phones: Compare the specific models’ independent reviews, price, memory configuration, cooling, battery capacity, display, camera implementation, and software support. Chip benchmarks alone cannot answer those phone-specific questions.
The Moto G57 and OPPO K13 5G are the handset examples named in Beebom’s comparison, but the scores describe those tested phone setups. They are not a promise that every phone using either processor will match the same results.
