Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 is the faster, more connected platform overall in the available comparison: it supports 5G and leads the reported AnTuTu and Geekbench results. Helio G35’s stated CPU clock reaches a higher 2.3GHz, compared with up to 2GHz for Snapdragon, but clock speed alone does not establish which processor performs better.
Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 vs Helio G35 specifications
The clearest difference is cellular connectivity: Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 supports 5G NR, while MediaTek describes Helio G35 as a 4G LTE platform. The processors also differ in their stated CPU configurations and manufacturing processes.

What the CPU and process figures mean
Helio G35 has the higher listed maximum CPU frequency, but that number is not a standalone speed comparison. The chip designs differ, and the reported benchmark results below favor Snapdragon 4s Gen 2.

Qualcomm specifies a 4nm process for Snapdragon 4s Gen 2; MediaTek specifies a 12nm FinFET process for Helio G35. Process size is useful platform context, not a direct prediction of battery life. Qualcomm cautions that battery life varies significantly with the device, settings, usage, and other factors.

5G, graphics and everyday use
Choose Snapdragon when 5G matters
Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 supports 5G NR, with Qualcomm listing peak download speeds up to 1Gbps. That is a platform specification, not a promise of a particular speed: handset support, carrier coverage, network conditions and available bands affect what you can use. Helio G35 is a 4G LTE platform, so it is not the choice between these two for 5G.
Do not infer gaming performance from a product description
MediaTek lists the Helio G35’s IMG PowerVR GE8320 graphics at up to 680MHz and describes its HyperEngine technology as intended to support gaming. That is the manufacturer’s product description, not an independent gaming measurement. Qualcomm’s cited page identifies an Adreno GPU but does not give its model number, so an exact GPU-model comparison is not established by these specifications.

Battery life depends on the phone
The listed process sizes do not establish how long a finished phone will last on a charge. No comparable controlled battery-life test is provided in the cited comparison, and Qualcomm notes that battery life varies with device, settings, usage and other factors.
Which chipset should you choose?
- Choose Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 if you want 5G or prioritize the stronger results in the cited benchmark comparison.
- Consider a Helio G35 phone if your needs are basic and the complete handset suits your budget and requirements; the available benchmark evidence does not show it matching Snapdragon 4s Gen 2.
- Compare phones, not just chips: check the exact model and variant, local price, display, camera, battery capacity, software support, network bands and condition.
91mobiles lists the Xiaomi Redmi A4 as a Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 example and the POCO C3 as a Helio G35 example. These listings identify example phones; they do not establish current availability, local pricing or a buying recommendation.
