Reported New York experience at 9 a.m. ET
Macworld reported on October 8 that Apple had confirmed a special “Welcome Home” experience in New York for October 13 at 9 a.m. ET, citing Apple executive Greg Joswiak. The report characterizes it as a hands-on experience; it does not establish that Apple is holding a conventional public keynote. Rumors about a smart-home display, HomePod mini, or Apple TV are speculation, not confirmed announcements. Read Macworld’s report.

Apple says iPhone Duo will be available starting October 23, 2026, and notes that app submissions are open. The cited announcement does not provide pricing, regional availability, or retailer inventory, so check Apple’s current availability and local pricing before making a purchase decision. Apple’s October developer page is the source for the date.
Is Apple holding an October event?
The October 13 New York “Welcome Home” experience is reported by Macworld, which attributes its confirmation to Greg Joswiak. The available information does not establish it as a public keynote. Apple’s October 13 and 15 Group Labs and October 29 developer event are distinct, developer-facing listings—not evidence of additional consumer launch events. The six entries in this calendar therefore should not be read as six confirmed Apple product announcements.
