The listing reports dimensions of 0.1 x 52 x 28 cm. Because the first figure is unusually small, do not use it as a reliable hood height; check the appliance itself or obtain documentation for the precise model before planning a cabinet or cutout.
Installation figures to verify
CHOICE lists a 150 mm recommended ducting pipe diameter and a mounting height of 600 mm minimum to 700 mm maximum above the stove. These are listing specifications, not a guarantee that a particular duct route, outlet or installation will fit. Verify them against the model label, appliance, cooktop requirements and the actual duct path before altering cabinetry or ducting. Use qualified installation support where appropriate.

Sirius’s September 2025 SL906DL family manual gives a 501 x 265 mm cutout for the SL906 DL 520 and advises short duct runs, few bends and consistent duct diameter. It is documentation for the DL family, not the legacy SL906-L520, so its cutout must not be treated as this model’s measurement. The SL906EMEL offboard manual likewise covers a different family.

Should you keep, reuse or replace one?
If you already own the hood
- Confirm the full model code on the appliance label; the SL906-L, SL906DL and SL906EMEL variants are not interchangeable by name alone.
- Check the existing opening, outlet, duct route and mounting clearance against the physical unit and exact-model documentation before reinstalling it.
- Do not assume parts, filters, motors or accessories are available or compatible merely because a related Sirius model is documented.
If you are choosing a replacement
Compare the replacement’s own documents for width, cabinet cutout, duct outlet and route, mounting height, extraction rating and its test basis, noise measurement conditions, filters, motor arrangement, warranty and service support.
