At 5 South Brae, repair Floppy Disk (2 of 3) with Fix-A-Disk, then unzip the archive using disks 1, 2 and 3 in order. Print MANUAL.EML to get safe code 956 and the barcode. At CEG Employee Lockers, scan that barcode and enter 575 for Locker 17.
Spoilers: This walkthrough covers the Clara Woods / 5 South Brae puzzle and its immediate follow-through, including the locker contents.

Get the South Brae House Key
- At CEG Employee Lockers, use the office computer and open Lost and Found with code 772. Take the South Brae House Key.
- Use the key to enter 5 South Brae.
Find the disks and Fix-A-Disk
- Go upstairs to the bedroom and take the Disk Case Key from the drawer.
- Use the key on the case beside the computer safe to get the three grouped floppy disks.
- Go to the side room at Atlas Computers and use the same Disk Case Key on the container there. Take the Fix-A-Disk software disk, then return to the upstairs computer at 5 South Brae.
Repair disk 2, then read the archive
- At the computer, start Fix-A-Disk from its software disk.
- When the scan prompt appears, swap out the software disk for Floppy Disk (2 of 3). Do not cancel the scan workflow.
- Select Repair Volume and confirm. Remove disk 2 when the repair is complete.
- Start the archive operation with disk 1 using Unzip to RAM. Insert disk 2 and then disk 3 when requested.
The order matters: disk 2 needs repair before the three-disk archive can be read, and the archive begins with disk 1. If the operation fails, check both the repair and disk order.

- Switch on the physical printer beside the computer.
- Open
MANUAL.EMLand print it. Collect the printed document. - Enter 956 on the nearby safe and take the South Brae barcode.
If the document does not print, check that the printer itself is powered on; turning on the computer alone is not enough.

Scan the barcode and open Locker 17
- Return to CEG Employee Lockers with the barcode.
- Scan the barcode at the CEG scanner.
- Use PIN 575 to open Locker 17.
- Collect both the Boltcutters and the Mechanical Part.
The two codes are for separate locks: 956 opens the safe at 5 South Brae and gives you the barcode; 575 opens Locker 17 at CEG after you scan it. If the locker step does not work, make sure you have taken the barcode to the scanner first.
What this puzzle sequence unlocks
Locker 17 contains the Boltcutters and a Mechanical Part. This is the immediate follow-through from the South Brae puzzle; the sequence links the house computer’s disk archive to the CEG locker without making the safe combination and locker PIN interchangeable.

Build and prompt variations
Walkthroughs agree on the sequence, but the available guides do not identify every difficulty setting or a specific later patch number. Prompts may therefore differ by build. The checkpoints above are sequence checks, not a confirmed fix for a software bug.
