Seven Knights Re:BIRTH Beginner’s Guide: What to Prioritize After Summoning

After a summon, prioritize Adventure, build a compact team around your account’s real needs, and establish a reliable repeat-stage farmer before spreading resources further.
Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

After summoning in Seven Knights Re:BIRTH, push Adventure as far as your team can reliably go, then use the rewards and unlocked features to build a compact five-hero core and a dependable repeat-stage farmer. Spend materials only when they solve a current problem; a newly summoned hero is not automatically worth building, and there is no universally correct next pick without knowing your roster and the live game state.

What to do first after a summon

A summon gives you another option, not a new account plan. Before spending materials, identify what is currently stopping progress: insufficient damage, a team that cannot survive, missing support, or slow repeat-stage clears. Then decide whether the new hero actually addresses that need better than the heroes you have already built.

Netmarble’s beginner guidance puts Adventure progression first because it opens features and provides rewards, equipment, heroes, and materials. Treat Story/Adventure as your main account-building route until you hit a point where continuing is no longer practical. The goal is not to force a clear at any cost; it is to reach the next useful unlock or a genuine progression wall. Netmarble’s Ultimate Beginner Guide and its September 30, 2026 beginner guide both support prioritizing this progression.

Use this quick order

  1. Claim and review available beginner rewards and free summons. Check what your account already has before making additional pulls.
  2. Set or review your hero wishlist, if you are using that feature. Choose with a roster need in mind; a wishlist is not a guarantee that a particular hero will be summoned.
  3. Continue Adventure with your best functional team. Push until the team struggles to clear consistently or you reach a meaningful unlock point.
  4. Build only the heroes that help your immediate goals. Aim for useful damage, enough survival and support, and a hero who can clear repeat stages reliably.
  5. When progression slows, farm and make targeted improvements. Level useful fodder, adjust formation, and upgrade equipment only when the change addresses the bottleneck.

This sequence is more useful than deciding in advance that every new summon must be leveled, geared, or placed in the main team. Netmarble’s guidance also cautions against heavy investment in temporary equipment that is likely to be replaced. The official beginner guide frames progression and farming as connected parts of early account development.

In practice, make the next decision small and concrete. If your current team reaches a new stage but loses because it cannot survive, try a formation or positioning adjustment before rebuilding the roster. If it survives but takes too long to clear, consider whether the new summon improves damage or repeat-stage speed. If clears are already reliable, continuing Adventure may be more valuable than investing in a hero simply because the summon is new. Reassess after each meaningful change rather than committing a large stock of materials all at once.

How to choose whether a new hero deserves investment

There is no universal hero ranking established by the available beginner material, and the best choice depends on your roster and current needs. Compare a new summon against the heroes you already use rather than judging it in isolation. A hero can be appealing but still be a poor immediate investment if it duplicates a role your team already covers or needs substantial additional resources before it can contribute.

Question What to check What it means for your next move
What is my current bottleneck? Is Adventure progress held back by damage, survival, support, or repeat-clear speed? Prioritize a hero only if it helps address that problem.
Does the hero fill a role I already cover? Compare its job with the heroes currently in your functional team. If an existing hero performs that job adequately, the new summon may wait.
What investment does it need? Consider the duplicates, equipment, materials, or teammates it may require before helping. Prefer improvements that pay off sooner for your account’s present stage.
Does it help more than one immediate goal? Check whether it supports both progression and another near-term account need. Cross-content usefulness can make an investment more efficient, but it does not replace checking your actual bottleneck.

This is a decision framework, not an official tier list. Netmarble’s beginner material recommends considering the hero’s role and the cost of building it; a mechanics overview also explains why formation and team function matter when assessing a hero’s practical value. Netmarble’s guide; BlueStacks’ Seven Knights Re:BIRTH mechanics guide.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

For example, if your core already has a hero who performs the support job your current stages require, a second hero with a similar role may not solve an immediate problem—even if you expect to use that hero in another mode later. On the other hand, a summon that fills a clear gap may be worth considering if the resources needed to build it are manageable. The point is not to dismiss overlap forever; it is to compare the likely near-term benefit with the cost and avoid letting a speculative future team weaken the team you need today.

Keep your early roster compact

Focus upgrades on a small core—Netmarble’s September 2026 beginner guide advises concentrating on five core heroes—rather than spreading resources across every new summon. A compact team gives you a useful baseline for Adventure and repeat farming while helping you avoid a roster full of partially developed characters. Add specialized teams gradually, after the main group is stable enough to support them. Netmarble’s September 30, 2026 beginner guide.

“Compact” does not mean that you must use the same lineup in every fight. It means making a small number of heroes your first investment priority, then changing the lineup or positioning when a particular fight calls for it. Keep an eye on the practical result: can the group advance, and can it clear the stage you rely on for repeat runs? If not, improve the specific weakness rather than starting development on several replacements at once.

Do not consume valuable duplicates casually

Before using a duplicate as a resource, check whether it has value for developing or retaining that hero. The official beginner guidance warns against casually consuming valuable duplicates. If you are uncertain what a duplicate does in the current version or whether a particular use is reversible, check its in-game information before committing it; the available guidance does not establish a universal rule for every hero or duplicate.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

This is especially important when you are still learning what your roster can do. A decision to use a duplicate may be difficult to undo, while waiting to confirm its purpose does not prevent you from continuing Adventure with the heroes already built. Treat any irreversible or unclear roster action as a pause-and-check moment rather than an automatic cleanup step.

What to do with one-, two-, and three-star heroes after leveling them

Do not keep leveling low-rarity heroes simply because they are already in your roster, and do not assume their only purpose is to be discarded. The supported early-game loop is to use fodder leveling as part of Ruby farming, while directing lasting investment toward the small group of heroes that advances your account. Netmarble’s beginner guidance specifically connects fodder leveling with Ruby farming, but it does not establish a single universal disposition for every one-, two-, or three-star hero.

Use a simple decision check before spending further resources on one:

  • Is this hero part of the core team you are using to progress? If not, avoid investing more just to raise its level.
  • Do you need a reliable repeat-stage team? Keep the farmer and the support it actually needs effective enough to clear stages consistently.
  • Are you sure the hero is expendable for the use you have in mind? Check current in-game information before consuming a hero or duplicate whose value you have not confirmed.

That approach answers the practical question without pretending that every account should handle every low-rarity hero identically. The useful distinction is between the heroes you are deliberately building for progress or farming and the fodder you are leveling as part of the farming loop. Netmarble’s Ultimate Beginner Guide; Netmarble’s beginner guide.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

If you have already taken a one-, two-, or three-star hero to level 30, that alone is not a reason to keep putting resources into it. Ask whether it is helping your core team or your repeat-stage clears. If neither applies, let it stop receiving priority while you direct future upgrades toward the heroes that meet those needs. At the same time, do not consume it solely because its rarity looks low: verify the current in-game information and the intended use first. The beginner guidance supports fodder leveling as part of farming, not a blanket instruction to dispose of every low-rarity hero in the same way.

When Adventure progression slows

A wall is a cue to improve the team or farm, not a reason to upgrade everything at once. First make sure the formation and positioning suit the fight. Formations affect the front and back defensive roles, and their arrangement matters for farming as well as progression. If a formation change makes the team more reliable, it may be a better first adjustment than investing in another hero. The mechanics guide from BlueStacks covers formation roles; Netmarble’s beginner guide also calls out formation in farming.

Look at what happens during a failed or inconsistent clear. If the team cannot stay alive, consider whether the arrangement is exposing a weakness in the front or back line. If the team survives but clears slowly, focus on the damage or farming-speed problem instead. This is not a prescribed formation for every encounter; the useful habit is to match positioning to the fight and evaluate whether it makes the result more dependable.

Choose a repeat stage your team can clear consistently

Use an appropriate repeat stage to earn experience and materials, and let fodder leveling contribute to Ruby farming. Choose the highest stage that your actual team clears reliably rather than assuming a particular stage is best for every account. The materials do not establish a fixed story-stage threshold for switching to farming or name one universally optimal Ruby map; your roster strength and the live game state matter.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

A reliable farmer is valuable because repeat runs turn time spent into account progress. If a higher stage fails often or clears inconsistently, the nominally better stage may not be the practical choice for your team. Start with a stage you can trust, and revisit the choice as your core improves. This is a practical application of the official recommendation to build a repeat-stage farmer; it is not a claim that one map or stage is always optimal. Netmarble’s Ultimate Beginner Guide; Netmarble’s beginner guide.

When comparing two possible farming stages, make the comparison on your own account: does the team finish consistently, and does the stage serve the experience-and-materials loop you need? A stage that is technically farther along is not automatically the better choice if your team cannot clear it reliably. Do not treat a named map recommendation from another player as universal without checking whether their roster, progress, and current game version match yours. The beginner recommendations establish the farming purpose, but not a single Ruby map that every player should use.

Make one targeted upgrade at a time

When a team still cannot progress comfortably, identify the specific weakness before spending. Improve the hero, formation, or equipment that addresses it, then see whether the change solves the problem. Do not pour scarce materials into equipment you expect to replace soon. The official guidance favors avoiding heavy investment in temporary gear, so early upgrades should be proportionate to the immediate benefit they provide. Netmarble’s Ultimate Beginner Guide.

A useful spending test is to name the problem before making the upgrade: “This change should make the current Adventure fight survive longer,” or “This equipment is needed to make my repeat clears dependable.” If you cannot connect an upgrade to a current goal, it may be better to hold the materials. After making one change, test the result; otherwise it is difficult to know which investment helped and easy to spend more than the bottleneck required.

How to spend Rubies and scarce upgrade materials

Keep premium currency and scarce materials attached to a goal. Before spending, ask whether the purchase or upgrade advances your present progression plan, improves your farming loop, or solves a clearly identified roster gap. If the answer is simply “I have the resource, so I should use it,” wait. Netmarble’s September 2026 beginner guidance cautions against summoning just to spend Rubies and against using scarce materials on upgrades that do not help current progress. Netmarble’s beginner guide.

That does not mean every account should save forever or avoid summons. It means the value of a summon depends on whether it improves what the account needs now. Review your roster before pulling, use the wishlist as a planning tool when available, and do not read it as a promise of a specific result. The available material does not establish current banner odds, a guaranteed wishlist outcome, or a universally best hero to pursue; those details should be checked in the live game for your region and patch.

Before spending Rubies, write down the gap you hope to address: perhaps you need a hero for an uncovered team role, or you are looking for a way to make a current account goal more achievable. Then compare that plan against the roster you actually have, including whether a newly summoned hero would need more duplicates, equipment, or teammates before it becomes useful. If a pull does not fit a concrete plan, saving the currency preserves the option to make a more deliberate choice later. No specific summon target or outcome is guaranteed by setting a wishlist.

Use the current in-game guide to find available tasks

Interface and event objectives can change, so use the current game rather than relying on an old fixed task sequence. Netmarble’s update notice, dated September 2, 2026 and updated September 16, 2026 (UTC+0), says that missions, expedition events, and the Content Dashboard were unified into the Adventurer’s Guide. The notice identifies Adventurer’s Path and Item Info as sections there. Netmarble’s September 2026 update details.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Use the Adventurer’s Guide to check what objectives and rewards are available in your current version, then choose tasks that align with your next account goal. Because the menus, events, banners, and hero balance can change, confirm current details in-game for your region and patch instead of treating a past event or interface as permanent.

This makes the in-game guide a practical place to orient yourself, not a substitute for deciding what your team needs. Check the live objectives, then prioritize those that support Adventure progression, your core, or reliable farming. If an event or task is no longer present in your version, do not build your whole plan around an old sequence; use the current menus and rewards shown to your account.

When to specialize beyond the main team

Do not build separate teams for every mode before the main team can progress and farm reliably. Once the core is stable, begin considering mode-specific needs such as bosses, raids, and Arena. Specialization is useful when it gives the account a concrete next step; before that point, splitting upgrades among several teams can slow the foundation you need for everything else. Netmarble’s beginner guidance places specialization after basic progression and farming. Netmarble’s Ultimate Beginner Guide.

Think of specialization as the next phase rather than a requirement immediately after summoning. First get a core that can move through Adventure and support the repeat-stage loop. Then decide which mode you actually want to pursue and what role or team need it creates. This keeps your expansion intentional: you are adding a team for a defined purpose rather than distributing upgrades across bosses, raids, and Arena all at once.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

A practical decision tree

  • Adventure clears comfortably: continue progressing toward the next meaningful unlock and use rewards to strengthen the core.
  • Adventure is unreliable: check formation and positioning, then make the smallest targeted improvement that addresses the failure.
  • You need repeat resources: use a dependable stage your team can clear consistently, and include fodder leveling in the farming loop.
  • A new summon overlaps with an established role: hold off on building it until you have a specific use or a genuine gap.
  • You are considering a scarce-resource spend: connect it to progression, reliable farming, or a defined roster need; otherwise preserve it.
  • The main team is stable: begin evaluating requirements for bosses, raids, or Arena rather than weakening the core to prepare for every mode at once.

The key is sequencing: progress first, establish a functional core, make repeat farming reliable, and only then widen the account’s goals. No fixed map, hero ranking, or story-stage cutoff is established as universal; the right next move depends on what your team can do in the current game version.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should I do with one-, two-, and three-star heroes after leveling them to 30?

Do not keep investing in a low-rarity hero just because it is already leveled, but do not assume every one is automatically expendable. Keep investing when the hero supports your core or repeat-stage clears; otherwise, shift resources to your account’s current priorities. Check in-game information before consuming a hero or duplicate whose purpose you have not confirmed.

Who should I put on my wishlist?

Use the wishlist, if available, to focus on a role or account gap you actually need. Compare potential heroes with the roles your current core already fills and consider the resources needed before a new hero can help. A wishlist is a planning aid, not a guarantee, and there is no universal next hero established for every roster.

What are the best maps to farm Rubies?

There is no universally best Ruby map established here. Choose the highest repeat stage your own team can clear consistently, and reassess as your core improves. A more difficult stage that fails or clears unreliably may be less useful in practice than a dependable one.

Special offer. See more information about Outbyte and uninstall instructions. Please review EULA and Privacy policy.

Should I summon as soon as I have enough Rubies?

Not simply to use the currency. First identify the need a summon could address, review your roster, and consider whether the hero would require additional duplicates, gear, or teammates before contributing. Check current banner details in-game; outcomes and value can vary with the live game state.

When should I start building teams for bosses, raids, or Arena?

After your main team can make basic Adventure progress and farm reliably. Then specialize gradually around the mode you are ready to pursue, rather than splitting early resources among several teams before your core is stable.

The Bottom Line

After a summon, keep the order simple: push Adventure, build a compact five-hero core around a real roster need, and establish a repeat-stage farmer your team can clear reliably. Use Rubies and scarce upgrade materials with a goal in mind, verify uncertain duplicate or fodder decisions in-game, and expand into specialized modes only after the foundation is steady.
