Choose the Secretlab TITAN Evo Small if you are up to 169 cm (5 ft 6 in) and under 90 kg (200 lb), Regular at 170–189 cm (5 ft 7 in–6 ft 2 in) and under 100 kg (220 lb), or XL at 181–205 cm (5 ft 11 in–6 ft 9 in) and 80–180 kg (175–395 lb). Regular and XL overlap from 181 to 189 cm, so buyers in that band should compare seat width, seat depth, floor-to-seat height and body proportions instead of choosing by height alone.
Secretlab TITAN Evo sizes at a glance
The TITAN Evo comes in Small, Regular and XL. Secretlab’s recommended ranges are fit guidance, while the maximum-load figures are structural limits. They are not interchangeable: being below a chair’s maximum load does not automatically mean that its seat dimensions will suit you.

| Size | Recommended height | Recommended weight | Maximum load | Seat depth | Seatbase width including sides | Floor-to-seatbase height |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small | Up to 169 cm (5 ft 6 in) | Under 90 kg (200 lb) | 130 kg (285 lb) | 48 cm | 53 cm | 45–52 cm |
| Regular | 170–189 cm (5 ft 7 in–6 ft 2 in) | Under 100 kg (220 lb) | 130 kg (285 lb) | 49 cm | 56 cm | 45–52 cm |
| XL | 181–205 cm (5 ft 11 in–6 ft 9 in) | 80–180 kg (175–395 lb) | 180 kg (395 lb) | 50 cm | 58 cm | 46–55.5 cm |
The dimensions come from Secretlab’s technical specifications. The Small and Regular seatbases are 3 cm narrower than XL, and their seat depths are 2 cm and 1 cm shorter respectively. Those differences can affect how much room you have around the side bolsters and how far the seat extends beneath your thighs.
What the height and weight ranges actually mean
Height is a starting point, not a complete fit test
Height is the quickest way to narrow the choice. At 169 cm or below, Small is the size inside Secretlab’s stated height recommendation. From 170 to 180 cm, Regular is the only recommended size by height. At 181–189 cm, both Regular and XL are within the published height ranges. From 190 to 205 cm, XL is the size that covers your height. A person above 205 cm is outside the published TITAN Evo XL height recommendation.
#1 Best Overall
- ALL-DAY COMFORT FOR WORK & PLAY - PC chair made of cold-cure foam for ideal posture, comes with memory foam magnetic head pillow that can be adjusted over a wide range and snaps into place on your backrest while providing enhanced neck support and pressure relief
Two people of the same height can have different leg, torso and hip proportions. That is why an overlap should be resolved with the actual dimensions and the way your current chair supports you, rather than with a simple “taller means XL” rule.
Weight ranges describe the intended fit band
Small is recommended for users under 90 kg, and Regular for users under 100 kg. XL starts at 80 kg and extends to 180 kg. Consequently, a person weighing 80–89 kg may fall within the weight guidance for all three sizes, while someone at 90–99 kg is outside Small’s recommendation but within Regular’s and XL’s. At 100 kg or more, XL is the only size whose stated weight range includes you, although its lower boundary is 80 kg rather than a requirement that every user below 100 kg must choose it.
Secretlab lists the XL recommendation as 80–180 kg (175–395 lb), not simply “over 100 kg.” If you are lighter than 80 kg, XL is outside that published weight range even when your height fits it. In that situation, compare the Regular dimensions first unless your proportions or required seat width give you a specific reason to consider the larger frame.
Maximum load is a limit, not a comfort recommendation
Small and Regular each have a 130 kg (285 lb) maximum load. XL has a 180 kg (395 lb) maximum load. These values indicate the stated structural capacity; they do not promise that a person close to the limit will find the seat the right width, depth or height. Use the recommended weight range and measurements to select a fit, then use the maximum-load figure as a safety boundary.
Small: the compact fit
Choose Small when you are no taller than 169 cm (5 ft 6 in) and weigh under 90 kg (200 lb), provided its dimensions match your body and your existing chair. Its 48 cm seat depth and 53 cm seatbase width including the sides are the smallest in the range. The floor-to-seatbase adjustment is 45–52 cm.
The compact dimensions can be useful if larger seats leave you sitting too far from the backrest or make the side bolsters feel widely spaced. They also reduce the amount of seat extending under your thighs compared with Regular and XL. That is a dimensional observation, not a promise that Small will feel comfortable for every shorter user: your leg length and hip width still determine the result.
Small carries the same 130 kg (285 lb) maximum load as Regular, but its recommended weight guidance is lower at under 90 kg. Do not select it solely because you are below the maximum-load number; the recommendation and seat measurements are the better indicators of fit.

Regular is recommended for 170–189 cm (5 ft 7 in–6 ft 2 in) and under 100 kg (220 lb). Its 49 cm seat depth, 56 cm seatbase width including sides and 45–52 cm floor-to-seatbase range sit between Small and XL.
For people in the 181–189 cm height overlap, Regular is often the more proportionate option when body width and weight remain within its recommendation. It is 2 cm narrower than XL and has a 1 cm shorter seat depth, so it takes up less lateral and front-to-back space. A lighter, narrower person at the top of the Regular range may prefer those dimensions even when XL is technically available by height.

Regular’s maximum load is 130 kg (285 lb). Its recommended weight is under 100 kg, so a person near or above 100 kg should not treat the maximum as evidence that Regular is the intended size.
XL: the roomier frame and higher load rating
XL is recommended for 181–205 cm (5 ft 11 in–6 ft 9 in) and 80–180 kg (175–395 lb). It has the deepest seat at 50 cm, the widest seatbase including sides at 58 cm and the highest floor-to-seatbase range at 46–55.5 cm. Its maximum load is 180 kg (395 lb).
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteThe extra 2 cm of seat depth versus Small and 1 cm versus Regular, together with the wider seatbase, gives larger or broader users more physical space to work with. XL is also the only size whose published recommendation reaches 180 kg. Those are size and capacity differences, not an assurance that XL is better for every tall person: a tall but light user can still find its wider seat less proportionate than Regular.
Because XL’s floor-to-seatbase range starts at 46 cm and reaches 55.5 cm, check whether your feet can rest flat at your preferred setting. The larger frame may suit your legs while still placing the seat too high for your lower-leg length. If you cannot achieve a stable foot position, a footrest is the official accessory solution Secretlab points to.
Regular or XL when you are 181–189 cm tall?
This is the main TITAN Evo sizing decision because both sizes cover the same height band. Use the following sequence rather than relying on a single cutoff.
- Check weight against both recommendations. If you are under 100 kg and at least 181 cm, you are inside the stated weight guidance for Regular and may also be inside XL if you weigh at least 80 kg. If you are 100 kg or more, XL is the size whose published weight range includes you.
- Measure your current chair. Record the seat depth and the width across the seat, including any side bolsters or raised edges. Compare those measurements with Regular’s 49 cm depth and 56 cm width, then XL’s 50 cm depth and 58 cm width.
- Consider how much side space you need. XL adds 2 cm of total seatbase width over Regular. That can matter if your hips, clothing or preferred sitting position make a narrower seat feel restrictive. If you prefer a closer, less expansive seat, Regular’s smaller dimensions may be a better match.
- Check leg length and foot contact. Regular adjusts from 45–52 cm floor to seatbase; XL adjusts from 46–55.5 cm. Use the lowest setting first and verify that both feet can plant without your knees being forced upward.
- Choose the size that satisfies the whole set of constraints. Height eligibility alone does not settle an overlap. Weight guidance, seat dimensions and foot placement should all point to the same choice; if they do not, prioritize the size whose dimensions match your current chair and whose recommended weight range includes you.
Are you too short for the XL?
Secretlab’s published XL height recommendation begins at 181 cm (5 ft 11 in). Therefore, a person shorter than 181 cm is outside the stated XL height range even if the XL’s 80–180 kg weight range appears suitable. A person from 181 to 189 cm is not too short by the published guidance, but should still test the larger seat dimensions and the higher floor-to-seat setting.

Will the TITAN Evo fit someone over 200 pounds?
“Over 200 pounds” covers several different cases. Two hundred pounds is approximately 90.7 kg, so a person just over 200 lb is above Small’s under-90-kg recommendation but may still fit Regular’s under-100-kg recommendation. XL also covers that weight when the user is at least 80 kg and within its 181–205 cm height range.
| Your situation | What the published ranges indicate |
|---|---|
| About 201–220 lb (roughly 91–100 kg), 170–180 cm tall | Regular is the height-appropriate option; its weight recommendation is under 100 kg, so check your exact measured weight rather than rounding. |
| About 201–220 lb, 181–189 cm tall | Regular and XL overlap by height. Compare 56 cm versus 58 cm seatbase width, 49 cm versus 50 cm depth and each chair’s height range. |
| At least 100 kg (about 220 lb), within 181–205 cm | XL is the size whose published weight range includes you. |
| Above 180 kg (395 lb) | You exceed the stated XL maximum load and are outside the published size guidance. |
Use your measured kilogram or pound value, not a rounded label such as “over 200,” because the Small and Regular recommendations change at 90 kg and 100 kg.

Seat depth, seat width and floor height: how to compare them
Seat depth
Seat depth is the front-to-back distance of the sitting surface. The TITAN Evo measures 48 cm on Small, 49 cm on Regular and 50 cm on XL. Compare those figures with a chair that already feels usable to you. A deeper seat can provide more surface under longer thighs, while a shallower seat can make it easier for shorter legs to reach the floor without sliding forward. Your own chair is the most useful reference because it reflects your posture and proportions.
Seatbase width including sides
Secretlab’s width figures include the sides of the seatbase: 53 cm for Small, 56 cm for Regular and 58 cm for XL. Do not compare these numbers with a measurement taken only between the inner edges of a different chair’s cushion; use the same measurement method. Side bolsters can change the usable space even when the overall number looks similar.
Floor-to-seatbase height
Small and Regular both adjust from 45 to 52 cm from the floor to the seatbase. XL adjusts from 46 to 55.5 cm. The ranges are not identical, so a person with shorter lower legs may find Small or Regular easier to set for flat feet, while a taller person may need XL’s higher upper setting. This is why floor height should be checked separately from seat depth.
Foot placement and the TITAN Evo hydraulics
Secretlab states that Small and Regular use shorter, re-engineered hydraulics intended to help more users place their feet flat on the ground. That design detail is shared guidance for those two sizes; it does not eliminate the need to check your own leg length.
To check foot placement, lower the chair, sit all the way back and keep your pelvis against the backrest. Your feet should contact the floor without you reaching forward or balancing on your toes. If the seat otherwise fits but your feet still do not reach comfortably, Secretlab lists its Premium Footrest and Professional Footrest as accessory options. A footrest addresses the floor-contact problem; it does not change the seat width, seat depth or load rating.

Secretlab says that Small, Regular and XL share the same features, so the support package does not depend on selecting the larger frame. The TITAN Evo product description includes a four-way L-ADAPT lumbar-support system and multiple upholstery choices. Size selection therefore changes the physical dimensions, adjustment range and maximum load, not the availability of those listed features.
When comparing sizes, avoid assuming that XL includes a different support system simply because its frame is larger. The published distinction is size and capacity; the common feature set remains the same across all three versions.

Example: 165 cm and 72 kg
This user is within Small’s height and weight recommendation. Regular and XL are not needed to satisfy the published fit range. Before ordering, compare the 48 cm Small seat depth and 53 cm seatbase width with the current chair, then verify that the 45–52 cm floor-to-seatbase range allows flat feet.
Example: 178 cm and 92 kg
This user is in Regular’s 170–189 cm height range and under its 100 kg recommendation. Small is outside its height and weight guidance. XL is outside its height recommendation because XL begins at 181 cm, so Regular is the clear choice under the published ranges.

Both Regular and XL cover this height, and 85 kg falls within Regular’s under-100-kg recommendation and XL’s 80–180 kg range. Compare the 49 cm by 56 cm Regular seat with XL’s 50 cm by 58 cm seat. A narrower build or preference for a less expansive seat favors Regular; a broader build or need for extra room favors XL. Check floor height as well.
Example: 185 cm and 108 kg
The height fits both sizes, but 108 kg is above Regular’s under-100-kg recommendation and inside XL’s 80–180 kg range. XL is the size supported by the published weight guidance, with a 180 kg maximum load.
Example: 198 cm and 78 kg
The height falls within XL’s 181–205 cm range, but 78 kg is below XL’s stated 80 kg minimum. This user is outside the published recommendation for every size by at least one criterion. Use Secretlab’s sizing calculator and compare the full measurements with an existing chair before treating any size as a confirmed fit.
A measurement checklist before ordering
- Measure your height without shoes and record your weight in kilograms or pounds.
- Identify the size whose published height and weight ranges include both measurements.
- If you are 181–189 cm, compare Regular and XL rather than choosing automatically.
- Measure your current chair’s seat depth from the backrest area to the front edge.
- Measure its total seatbase width using the same approach as the TITAN Evo figures, including side sections.
- Check whether the TITAN Evo floor-to-seatbase range allows both feet to rest flat.
- Keep the 130 kg Small/Regular and 180 kg XL figures separate from the recommended weight ranges.
- Use Secretlab’s sizing calculator if your measurements sit on a boundary or fall outside a published range.
Common sizing mistakes
Choosing by maximum load alone
A 130 kg maximum does not make Small or Regular appropriate for every person below 130 kg. The recommended weight and height ranges are narrower because they are intended to describe fit, while the maximum is a structural limit.
Assuming every tall user needs XL
XL begins at 181 cm, but Regular continues to 189 cm. A lighter or narrower person in that overlap may prefer Regular’s 56 cm width and 49 cm depth. Use the overlap as a comparison decision, not an automatic upgrade.
Ignoring the lower end of the XL weight range
XL is not described as suitable for every user under 100 kg. Its published weight range starts at 80 kg. A user who is tall but below 80 kg should treat XL as outside the stated guidance and verify the fit carefully.
Comparing only the cushion and forgetting the sides
The listed seatbase widths include the sides. Measuring only the flat cushion can make another chair appear narrower or wider than it really is relative to the TITAN Evo.
Setting the chair by desk height first
Desk clearance matters, but your first check should be whether the chair supports a stable seated position with both feet planted. The published floor-to-seatbase ranges differ by size, and a footrest may be necessary if your legs are shorter than the chair’s lowest setting allows.
How to make the final choice
For users up to 169 cm and under 90 kg, start with Small. For users from 170 to 180 cm and under 100 kg, start with Regular. For users from 190 to 205 cm, or users at least 100 kg whose height is within 181–205 cm, XL is the size indicated by the published ranges. For the 181–189 cm overlap, compare the actual 49 cm/56 cm Regular dimensions with XL’s 50 cm/58 cm dimensions, then verify floor height and foot contact. If your height or weight falls outside every published band, use the full technical measurements and Secretlab’s sizing calculator rather than assuming that the largest chair is automatically correct.
