Why a Screenshot.rocks capture is cut off
A regular screenshot records the browser’s visible viewport; a full-page screenshot captures content beyond the screen by extending the capture down the document. Screenshot.rocks’ extension is intended for visible-tab captures, so switching to the browser’s built-in full-page feature is the direct fix when you need the whole page. Its viewport capture can still be opened in the editor for cropping, framing, or background work. See the Screenshot.rocks guide for its instructions.

Capture a full page in Chrome
- Open the page you want to capture.
- Open DevTools with F12. On Mac, press Command+Option+I.
- Open the Command Menu with Ctrl+Shift+P. On Mac, use Command+Shift+P.
- Type screenshot and select Capture full size screenshot.
Chrome downloads the result as a PNG. If the page includes images that load only as you scroll, scroll down to the bottom and back to the top before capturing so they have an opportunity to load.

Fix common full-page screenshot problems
Only the visible screen appears
Choose a full-page capture command, not the Screenshot.rocks visible-tab extension’s standard screenshot. A viewport capture cannot include content outside the visible tab area.
Images are blank or missing
Some pages load images only when they approach the viewport. Scroll slowly to the bottom, then return to the top and take the full-page capture.

A cookie banner or sticky header covers the page
Dismiss the cookie banner before capturing. If an unwanted element remains, use DevTools’ Elements panel to select it and press Delete; this removes the element until the page is reloaded.

Text looks blurry
In Chrome, open DevTools device mode, add the device pixel ratio control, and set DPR to 2 before capturing. This can improve sharpness, but it is not a guarantee for every browser or display.
The capture ends early or fails on a very tall page
A browser’s maximum single-image height can limit a full-page capture. Divide the page into sections or capture only the part you need rather than expecting one image to contain an extremely tall document.
